"I've eaten at hundreds of Asian restaurants in my lifetime and have believed it difficult make bad Asian food. From high end to shabby and I have never had food that I didn't find appetizing until I ordered from this restaurant. I ordered two egg rolls, house fried rice, and sesame chicken and it all was very difficult to eat. The egg rolls and HFR extremely dry, SC was fried so hard that is was unedible and the sauce was thin with no taste. It took me two days to finishwhat I ordered which has NEVER happened. The next day I added water when I microwaved the food to add some moisture and also some of my favorite Cajun seasoning just to give it some flavor and it was still difficult to eat. I finished thefood because I hate wasting food and I paid for it. I read the reviews and took a leap of faith and hit the bottom, sad to say I will not be a returning customer."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and I must say I am very pleased with both the food and the customer service. The portions were larger than I anticipated, and the taste was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. This will definitely become my new favorite Chinese restaurant."

"I would have given Rice Kitchen a five-star rating, but I was disappointed with the butterfly shrimp. It was presented in an overly complicated way, wrapped and deep-fried, which made it look less appealing (see photo). I've encountered this in some other restaurants lately, so maybe it’s a new trend. I found the shrimp unappetizing, so I decided not to eat it. I’d suggest replacing that with something else on the menu. Will I order from Rice Kitchen again? Probably. I think I'll stick to the Pupu platter, but I already know I'll be let down by the shrimp."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"We started with chicken satay. Tasty although accompany sauce was not the expected/normal peanut sauce. Had asparagus salmon, honey prawns, lemon chicken, garlic noodles, white rice. All good, but noodles could have been more garlicky. Quiet Sunday late lunch/early dinner. We'll be back."

"The restaurant offers a small Sunday lunch buffet for $8.99, featuring typical Chinese dishes. One unique item on the buffet is dragon fruit, which I've never encountered at a buffet before. The service is quick and efficient. On other days and at different times, they only serve from the menu, with regular lunch prices ranging from $6 to $8 depending on the dish. Its location next to Kroger makes it very convenient for us."

"I recently moved to the city and opted for a pizza delivery. Unfortunately, I waited an hour and a half for it to arrive. While the pizza was decent, it wasn't very warm when it got here. Is it really necessary for it to take an hour to make a pizza and another 30 minutes for delivery? Moreover, the delivery person didn't knock to let me know my order had arrived. On a positive note, I did receive a credit for the delivery fee along with a discount, and the delivery person was quite apologetic. I appreciate their response and will take that into consideration."

"I met an old friend here to watch a hockey game, and we had a great time. The service was excellent, and the food was quite good. I tried the chicken wings, which I would rate a 6/10, but the shrimp tacos were fantastic—definitely a 9/10! My friend had the half chicken, and while he enjoyed it, he mentioned that it was a bit dry. They also offer a nice selection of drinks and beers. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, but I would definitely return for the outstanding service and those tacos!"

"Do not recommend, we ordered food and didn’t get what we asked. We spent $56 on this and when I called them she hung the phone up on me. I called two more times and she got an attitude and started saying that we never ordered from and that she can’t do nothing than hung the phone up again. she didn’t even give us a receipt to see what exactly she charged us on top of that they took over an hour to get the food to us. Go here if you want to get your money robbed."

"Delicious Japanese American/Hawaiian restaurant! This great little diner is tucked in the front of a local bowling alley and serves great Japanese American/Hawaiian food. They serve many Japanese and Asian dishes, as well as American diner fare, including breakfast dishes and sandwiches. The coffee shop includes Hawaiian staples into several of their dishes (e.g. Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage, Kalua pork, saimin noodles, etc. . The diner food is great too I had the chili rice and the chili was very tasty, and I consider myself a chili connoisseur. But the Japanese dishes are delicious as well. Their menu is very complete and robust. Tremendous find. The venue is a bit small, so probably no large parties. But, if you want some good Japanese American/Hawaiian food, or diner dishes, come check out Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop."

"On top of this place being ridiculously over priced, this is by far the worst rice I've seen in my entire life!!! Now I know can't nobody do like back home in St.Louis but this is utter trash. I decided I would order some plain fried fried and add my own ingredients when I got home. I was told that plain fried with just bean spouts is $9.50 which is higher than the shrimp fried rice!! I've been in the restaurant industry 15 years and I know the price point for shrimp and bean sprouts is no where near the same. Then I open my box and see this. The rice isn't even fried. Just soy sauce thrown on top. I understand it's Covid and all but this place deserves nobody's money when they're putting out this kind of mess."

"The BEST Chinese restaurant in all of Livermore! They offer a wide selection of delicious and flavorful menu items presented on beautifully designed table menus, complemented by stunning artwork, including paintings of Mongolian wild horses. The atmosphere is quiet and serene, just as you would expect from a Chinese dining experience. Whether you crave beef, pork, chicken, duck, or seafood, they've got you covered! And don't forget the freshly steamed white rice, an essential side for any dish! Vegan options are also available! If you're in the mood for Chinese this week, be sure to visit Peking Restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine as it should be served!"

"I recently ordered two portions of salt and pepper smelt. I clearly stated at least five times that I wanted just the smelt, nothing on top. The server confirmed no onion and no pepper, but I insisted there should be none of that—just the smelt. When I got home, both orders still had onions and peppers. It’s important for restaurants to pay attention to what customers request, especially when they repeat their instructions multiple times!"

"Went to this restaurant because it was one of the only ones that was still open and kind of by accident. It turned out to be the best restaurant I went to during my whole trip in Waikiki. I went to a bunch of expensive restaurants and the food here out did the others at half the price. I was so glad I found it. It is not next to the other busy restaurant on the main road. It was actually hidden back more and was great walking distance from many hotels. I would recommend this if you want some great food."

"This is my wife’s and my favorite Chinese restaurant. The quality of the food is nearly perfect, and the portion sizes are generous. We've been coming here for 25 years, and I would give it a strong 5 stars. Although the original owners have sold the restaurant and the new team has made some slight adjustments to the original recipes, the dishes are still excellent. Don’t let that deter you from trying this amazing Chinese takeout spot—you won’t be disappointed!"

"The wife and I had dinner here, 4/19/2023, around 7pm. We walked in and we're seated right away. There was only three other tables seated. I had the Crab Wontons and Red Curry Chicken. The wife had the Tom Yum Soup and the Green Curry Chicken. The wontons had a great crunch and crab flavor. A little chewier than I would have like. The Tom Yum was well flavored with the classic sour-salt-sweet-heat mix. Very good on a colder (40ish degrees) night in Boston. Our curries were fantastic! My Red curry was a nice balance of sweet, cream, and umami. The bamboo shoots gave it nice texture. Bell peppers and onions rounded out the dish. Chicken was thinly sliced and plentiful. I only tried my wives Green Curry sauce. It was also excellently flavored. We also got a Pad Se Eew Tofu to go for my daughter. I also tasted that and it was GOOD! Place was clean and nicely decorated, if not dated. Red everywhere. Highly recommend if you are in the meal."

"In the area and was looking for place to grab something quick. Place was clean so that was a plus. The blasting County music didn't fit the vibe of the establishment but whatever. Menu selection was: Thai, Sushi and Chinese They were fairly busy with take out orders. They have several booths as well as tables (we were the only ones eating in). Limited Chinese selection but we found something for both of us... 1 beef broccoli and 1 chicken broccoli I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Our food was hot, tasted good (didn't have a burnt wok taste) and fresh. While we are still looking for just a regular Chinese place that offers only Chinese food and standard combinations this little spot does have something for everyone. Would definitely go back and try some other menu options."
