"We came here for Mother’s Day, the shareable were outstanding, delicious and great presentation. However the service was not friendly, which is the reason for less stars. They weren’t willing to adjust to our seating preference despite them beingavailable. The server himself was not very knowledgeable and low energy, barely answering our questions. The ambience is prettygood, calm, soothing and eye catching"

"We went here on a recommendation from some friends. I believe we would’ve have had a better experience had our server been friendlier. Asking me “what’s up” when I say I have a question about the menu seems so unprofessional. The food was okay... we ordered the wanton cookie for dessert w/ espresso. The espresso came to us too early and was cold by the time we got our dessert. Having a server that understands timing and just simply understands being personable goes a long way. Not sure if I’d come back again but it’s a for me"

"A decent casual restaurant, as they have very friendly staff, delicious food and relaxing dining atmosphere. They offer a wide range of food and drinks and the price is very competitive. Very recommend her mushroom burger, really delicious. If you want some light, you will also give a combination of soup and salad suprise. I'm sure I'll be back to dining."

"As promised, itâ€s been at least a month since I last blogged about a place outside of Vancouver so anything is fair game now. This time itâ€s fairly local compared to my Europe trip, with a little weekend road trip down to Seattle with The Italian and Little Bunny. The occasion? PAX Prime of course! One of the worldâ€s biggest gamer conventions where all things geek collide across all of the downtown Seattle convention centres for a 4-day orgy of never ending gaming. Looking to play some board games? No problem, just visit The Library with literally thousands of games for you to choose from. Want to play the latest Super Mario Maker before itâ€s out? Theyâ€ve got it. Want to slay some baddies in Dungeons Dragons? I hope you brought your D20. If not, theyâ€ve got thousands of them on sale there too. One warning and a bit of advice though as Little Bunny quickly learned. The crowd here is predominantly male nerds which means most are socially inept which unfortunately translates to poor hygiene, so be sure to bring some nose plugs or a high tolerance for body odor."

"I've hosted three job dinner inner interviews at this restaurant, but this night was different. Our waitress did get us all the cocktails. It was six of us (2 males and 4 females). After that, she only asked my two colleagues (2 females) if they needed cocktails. After I finished my 1st drink, another waitress from another table took my glass, and I asked for another cocktail, but I never got it. After waiting a long time and drinking my water, our waitress came to fill my water glass, and I ask she was allowed to wait on me as she was only waiting on my two female colleagues; she put my water glass down and went to the computer then all of a sudden the bartender brings me my cocktail. We wrapped the night up, my boss paid the check, and we left. The next day, I reviewed the receipt, and they overcharged for the cocktail I was drinking. They listed three when I only had two. I won't be hosting any more dinner interviews there."

"The service was absolutely awful. We got there early but we did not see anyone for a while. We were in the bar area which we requested so some of us could watch the game but it was freezing most of the time until the heat briefly came on. This happened the entire time. We asked why it was so cold but the few people we asked had no idea. We got there after 4:30pm for a 5:15pm reservation and we did not leave until almost 9pm. It was unreal. The server was also the bartender so we only saw him a few minutes at a time. A few drinks would come but not the rest until later but some never came until we asked again. It wasn’t until after 6pm which was way late when someone else came to take our orders. The time between appetizers and dinner was not good. I ordered an add on salad that never came but was on the bill but we just wanted to get out of there so we let it go. The few people that ordered the Turkey special were unhappy because there was too much skin on the Turkey and it was hard to eat through. The dessert orders were wrong. We also paid for an extra brownie sundae we did not order. And the topper was the server telling us that our $100 bill was counterfeit and wouldn’t go through the machine so we needed to give her a different one. Oh dear God. Cannot make this up."

"I will go out on a limb and say this will be the best view of any Thai restaurant here in the South Bay. Great for a romantic date if you like beautiful views and al fresco dining. The quantity of food is fine. I just didn’t find it particularly flavorful. If you like spicy, you need to make sure it’s clear you want spicy. I ordered a spicy chicken dish which had no spice whatsoever. Also, the fried egg on top was overcooked, so I missed out on the runny yolk that I’ve had with other Thai restaurants. The prices? While I am still adjusting to all the inflation going on everywhere, I think you’re still paying a premium for the view. Expect the cost to be 20-25 dollars for most dishes. I feel it’s steep l When booking, I was concerned the only option was outdoor patio seating. However, the whole place is practically outside. They have ample space heaters. Staying warm wasn’t a problem. The service was friendly. The only awkward part of the service I could do without was when the server hovered over me after handing me the card reader and was staring at me when the tip screen went up. No bueno. Would I go back? Yes… for a date night. Will it replace my current go-to Thai restaurant when I have a craving for a Thai food? No. No, it won’t."

"We've enjoyed Houlihan's many times, but this night was a bit underwhelming. We were seated immediately and our waiter was pleasant enough, but was clearly having a bad night. We waited dryly through most of our meal before our second drinks arrived and had another long wait after dinner, which ended our desire for dessert. I then received an incorrect check with an extra drink added to it, and had to wait again for that to be corrected. But the food was good, although the portions a bit small. We'll probably return at some point and give them the benefit of a rare bad night."

"I had a great time celebrating a birthday at this restaurant. The Caesar Salad was delightful, featuring crisp lettuce and a light dressing. However, I found the clam chowder to be underwhelming; it was a bit watery and lacked the rich flavor I remembered from my last visit five years ago. Everyone at the table enjoyed their entrees, which included Fish and Chips, Prime Rib Dip, and Mediterranean Chicken Tacos. The Fish and Chips were crispy and excellent, and the Prime Rib Dip received high praise as well. We also enjoyed the handcrafted root beer, sweetened with cane sugar; it had a light and refreshing taste that was simply delicious. To top it off, we savored a complimentary Pizookie with vanilla ice cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, we would definitely return to any BJ's Brewhouse in the future."

"We spent about $110 on this meal. I got a soggy salad with room temperature, cut up frozen chicken tenders on it for $18. My husband got a very dry prime rib sandwich with about 12 french fries for $19. We shared $21 nachos as an appetizer. They were good, not good enough to be that expensive, but still very good. We also got wings which we ended up taking home. They were okay. We also had two beers and a cider between us, which were all just okay. The service was just okay as well. All in all, this was such a disappointing meal that I stressed about spending that much on it the whole ride home. Not a good experience and won't return."

"Entrée needed to be returned as it was wrong (grilled instead of breaded chicken. )and desert had to be replaced because it was horrible. Our server was good, just felt bad for him. This was a birthday lunch. They didn’t even acknowledge that, even though I put it in the reservation notes when it was made. I had to tell them… they reluctantly brought an awful dessert that needed to be changed. It was supposed to be cheesecake that was apparently microwaved into a soup. Sad part is the manager is the one that served it. It was obvious it was not edible. They did comp the salad because it was originally done wrong and we had to wait a bit."

"The restaurant's online menu clearly marks items as gluten-free or gluten-sensitive. However, the lunch and dinner menus do not have the same labels. The salmon, labeled as both gluten-free and gluten-sensitive online, was unfortunately overcooked. The green beans were barely cooked, lacking the desired crunch. Despite this, the dish had great flavor. The waitress provided excellent service."

"I didn't know what to expect from Mexikosher now that it seems to be three (four? separate restaurants in one. I must say I was pleasantly surprised enough to write this review. I ordered the family meal from Rosa's and the duo platter from Graze. I think you'd probably need 3 4 sides for the family meal to really feed a family, but $31 for a whole kosher chicken and two sides seems like a deal to me. And it was delicious. The duo platter from Graze was pricier and smaller, and it would be a stretch for it to feed two people. But, nevertheless, it was superb. The pickles were maybe the best pickles I've ever had in my life, and I've had a lot of pickles. I can't believe I hadn't tried this restaurant before and they delivered super quickly! PLEASE order from here so we can continue to have good, reasonably priced kosher food on the UWS."

"Honestly, food is delicious. So good, perfectly seasoned, nicely plated, well priced. Seriously, kudos to the chefs in the back! But I can 't give them 5 stars because service wasn 't good. The dude who looks like Edna from incredibles hesitated to seat us at first. (They have signs everywhere that says no mask no service but uh, he wasn 't wearing a mask either everyone else who walked in after us didn 't have masks on at all mainly 'cuz most businesses stopped forcing people to wear them back in 2021) but he still nervously asked his bosses if we could be seated. They said yes. So we sat. He basically threw our menus at us from afar. Acted like we were diseased. Rude. We are healthy by the way and no one wasCoughing or whatever so that was whacked. Then he took our orders from a whole table 's length away. Couldn 't even be bothered to stand next to us like a normal server. He literally stood behind the 6 top next to us and took our order. Like Who does that?!He dropped our food and drinks off and didn 't come back for the rest of our meal. Hubby asked him later if we could order takeout. He took our order hubby went to pay. Hubby goes to the restroom dude is at my table telling me do you have another card? Your card was rejected. Really loudly. (Turns out my cc company rejected it because he ran it through multiple times that triggered a fraud alert) I asked if they accepted amex. Nope. Apple pay? Nope. So guys if you have AMEX or Apple Pay be warned: they do NOT take either here. Anyway i wrote my card info down and it went through. I asked him for the paper back and he told me no. WTH? I grabbed a pen scratched it all out but I don 't get why he gave me such a hard time about it. Anyway. If you eat in, be prepared for good food with really weird service. Otherwise, ordering takeout from this place is a good option."

"I think it's great that this restaurant is back on open table. this restaurant is one of our favorites in the neighbourhood. my wife likes the selection on the menu, they can get an appetizer or a meal. this restaurant returns to the community, they have made an excellent work with the keith boyer, I am sure no one thought so many people would participate in taking part for a great thing. the current employees are the best, tonya and megan are great."

"It was very busy but is was dinner time on a Sunday. We were there to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary but that never came up. The pink elephant tasted like alka seltzer. The dessert was dry and disappointing. A fruit fly flew out from between our lettuce wraps. I didn’t tell my husband or we would have left and I was looking forward to that dessert. Probably won’t go back. Also they didn’t make the tomato soup anymore which is why I went there in the first place.Meh. Some people work workout tights and t-shirt and others were wearing jeans and collared shirts. I wasn’t sure the one in leggings worked there until she took our plates. Not sure what was going on."
