"It was very busy but is was dinner time on a Sunday. We were there to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary but that never came up. The pink elephant tasted like alka seltzer. The dessert was dry and disappointing. A fruit fly flew out from between our lettuce wraps. I didn’t tell my husband or we would have left and I was looking forward to that dessert. Probably won’t go back. Also they didn’t make the tomato soup anymore which is why I went there in the first place.Meh. Some people work workout tights and t-shirt and others were wearing jeans and collared shirts. I wasn’t sure the one in leggings worked there until she took our plates. Not sure what was going on."

Good location in Denton and easily accessible. Nice to be close to a movie theatre and in a nice hotel.

The steak was bland and seemed overcooked. I had to send it back and order something else. I've tried many steaks in my time, and this was, without a doubt, the worst one I've ever tasted. View menu

The table was beautifully set, and there was a good amount of space between us and the other diners. The noise level was pleasant and manageable. The service was fantastic, and the happy hour wine was outstanding.

Started in the bar. The bartender waiting us was snobby and impatient, also was not willing to change one of the four TVs to the Texas game. We moved to a table on the other side of the bar as they were willing to have both of those TVs on the game we requested. Our new server was great, food was good. The Houlihan’s in Ft Worth was recently closed down. We went there at least once a week and always felt welcome by everyone every time we went. We had to drive 30 minutes to this Houlihan’s to use our gift cards. After we spend the rest of our $100 gift certificates we will more than likely be done with Houlihan’s.

"I had a great time with my friend at Komodo Loco. The interior felt like something you might see in Austin or Colorado moody lighting with cool artwork. First things first, I was hoping that we would sit in the front area of the restaurant where things were happening but we were sat in a back room down tue hallway which you couldn't even tell existed. It was super dark and not as appealing as the front of store which was a bummer. I could've said something but it ended up okay in the end. Our waitress was good about checking up on us so we appreciated that. Let's talk about food and drink. For the cocktail, I got the berry drink at first which was gin and blackberries and blueberries I believe. I wasn't a huge fan, but I was able to switch it out with the Japanese whiskey drink which was a whole lot better 6.5/10 The food was overall delicious. I got the slammin sake roll which was me and my friends favorite a spicy salmon roll that had just the right amount of kick to it 9/10 I also got sashimi with mango it was not bad; fresh but definitely not as tasty, complex or worth it to me compared to the previous roll 6/10 Finally I got the tuna maki since I was still hungry. It was probably the worst roll of the bunch. It was the cheapest and the seaweed was chewy and hard to bite through. My friend got a specialty featured roll that had mango in it (I forget the name) but it was delish. 7.5/10. The kicker to all this was that I asked for sauces and was not told ahead of time that I would be charged for it. Again I didn't say anything at the time because it was only 25 cents per sauce but just the fact that I was told beforehand was not great. They should tell guests if something is extra I've never been charged for extra sauce on the side at any other restaurant ever. Overall a good experience with a few tweaks this could be 5 stars for me maybe I would give it another try in the future"
