"I've always loved Houlihan's in the past, and our recent visit did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was excellent. The prices are reasonable compared to many local options. I ordered the BBQ burger, while my son chose the chicken tenders. Our food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. I requested my burger to be cooked medium, and it was spot on. If you enjoy BBQ-style burgers, this place is a winner. The bacon was crispy and not overdone. My son enjoyed his chicken; the tenders were tender and not overcooked. We also indulged in desserts—a brownie and vanilla bean cheesecake. I would recommend both!"

"First bad review I am ever writing. Unfortunately, the food was awful. I ordered a prime rib....recd a PuB Steak. Not wanting to be a nuisance on Xmas..I accepted pleasantly. It was TOUGH. Very over cooked. Every one at my table has issues ....ribs were dry. Even child's pizza under cooked. Ordered fried donuts for desert, left on table ....middle a bit raw. I do realize it was christmas....which makes the situation worse. Expected a nice sit down with family....yet we all.left hungry and disappointed. Top dollar...to be so unsatisfied."

"I began my meal with a delicious side salad. My wife opted for the fish tacos, while I chose the Mahi Mahi special. The portions were generous, but nothing extraordinary. The service was excellent. Two drawbacks were a crying baby in the restaurant and fruit flies bothering us during our dinner. Overall, we knew this was not a high-end dining experience, so it met our expectations for a casual night out."

"While this sushi restaurant appears similar to many others that blend Chinese and Japanese cuisine, we decided to give it a shot after receiving $2 off coupons for a $20 purchase in the mail. We opted for takeout for our meal. My son absolutely loved the fried rice; I've never seen him eat so much—he nearly finished the entire serving! Next time, we plan to try the sushi and dine in at the restaurant. They also offer hibachi and pad Thai, so I’m sure I’ll be back for more."

The environment is so calm and beautiful and I look forward to every Saturday night. The managers, arewonderful they take care of every need that you may have. The waiters are Phenomenal they take care of all your needs! "Let me preface this by saying we were the FIRST customers here when they opened- which is at 11am.As im typing this, it's 1150am and I have not yet received my food. The waitress came up to tell me that the kitchen was backed up but HOW? The party that came in 30 mins after me got their food before me. To top that off, the customer service is HORRIBLE. They're the ones that seemed bothered when I checked on the status of MY ORDER. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I canceled my order. Left a fat 0 TIP L cause for what. Also, the sushi itself is pretty mediocre."

"A decent casual restaurant, as they have very friendly staff, delicious food and relaxing dining atmosphere. They offer a wide range of food and drinks and the price is very competitive. Very recommend her mushroom burger, really delicious. If you want some light, you will also give a combination of soup and salad suprise. I'm sure I'll be back to dining."

"The service was absolutely awful. We got there early but we did not see anyone for a while. We were in the bar area which we requested so some of us could watch the game but it was freezing most of the time until the heat briefly came on. This happened the entire time. We asked why it was so cold but the few people we asked had no idea. We got there after 4:30pm for a 5:15pm reservation and we did not leave until almost 9pm. It was unreal. The server was also the bartender so we only saw him a few minutes at a time. A few drinks would come but not the rest until later but some never came until we asked again. It wasn’t until after 6pm which was way late when someone else came to take our orders. The time between appetizers and dinner was not good. I ordered an add on salad that never came but was on the bill but we just wanted to get out of there so we let it go. The few people that ordered the Turkey special were unhappy because there was too much skin on the Turkey and it was hard to eat through. The dessert orders were wrong. We also paid for an extra brownie sundae we did not order. And the topper was the server telling us that our $100 bill was counterfeit and wouldn’t go through the machine so we needed to give her a different one. Oh dear God. Cannot make this up."

"We've enjoyed Houlihan's many times, but this night was a bit underwhelming. We were seated immediately and our waiter was pleasant enough, but was clearly having a bad night. We waited dryly through most of our meal before our second drinks arrived and had another long wait after dinner, which ended our desire for dessert. I then received an incorrect check with an extra drink added to it, and had to wait again for that to be corrected. But the food was good, although the portions a bit small. We'll probably return at some point and give them the benefit of a rare bad night."

"We are coming through Eureka on vacation, as I'm sure many others do, and found The Banana Hut online. We decided to go there for dinner because it was something different and had good reviews. All of the food we ordered was so delicious and the atmosphere was fun! My mom got the coconut shrimp with a green salad and pineapple gravy on her rice. My dad got the mahi mahi dish with macaroni salad and pineapple gravy on his rice. I got the Kalua Pig sliders and sweet potato fries those are some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had!"

"Entrée needed to be returned as it was wrong (grilled instead of breaded chicken. )and desert had to be replaced because it was horrible. Our server was good, just felt bad for him. This was a birthday lunch. They didn’t even acknowledge that, even though I put it in the reservation notes when it was made. I had to tell them… they reluctantly brought an awful dessert that needed to be changed. It was supposed to be cheesecake that was apparently microwaved into a soup. Sad part is the manager is the one that served it. It was obvious it was not edible. They did comp the salad because it was originally done wrong and we had to wait a bit."

"The restaurant's online menu clearly marks items as gluten-free or gluten-sensitive. However, the lunch and dinner menus do not have the same labels. The salmon, labeled as both gluten-free and gluten-sensitive online, was unfortunately overcooked. The green beans were barely cooked, lacking the desired crunch. Despite this, the dish had great flavor. The waitress provided excellent service."

"It was very busy but is was dinner time on a Sunday. We were there to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary but that never came up. The pink elephant tasted like alka seltzer. The dessert was dry and disappointing. A fruit fly flew out from between our lettuce wraps. I didn’t tell my husband or we would have left and I was looking forward to that dessert. Probably won’t go back. Also they didn’t make the tomato soup anymore which is why I went there in the first place.Meh. Some people work workout tights and t-shirt and others were wearing jeans and collared shirts. I wasn’t sure the one in leggings worked there until she took our plates. Not sure what was going on."

"My husband and I went to Houlihans on a Friday night in lent. We had panko crusted shrimp and fish fillet. Both entrees were excellent and an email from the restaurant listing their specials is what brought us in that night. We felt that we got an excellent meal for a very fair price. The sides fries, cole slaw, and green beans were very good and the portions were just right. Zane, our server, was very attentive. We got there at and it was pretty quiet. By pm the crowd picked up quite a bit and by the place was hoping. We will not hesitate to go there again, and will probably do so in the near future"
