"1. Co-founder Philip Chiang's mother, Cecelia, received the James Beard Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. 2. Paul Fleming, who is part of the Fleming's Restaurant Empire, co-founded PF Chang's alongside Philip Chiang. 3. Each PF Chang's location features replicas of the Terra Cotta Warriors and their horses from Xi'an, China. 4. The first PF Chang's opened in Scottsdale, AZ, and there are currently 204 locations. 5. PF Chang's has a Gluten-Free menu and offers many vegetarian options. **What I Liked at PF Chang's:** I enjoyed the lunch wok classics, particularly the Grilled Salmon. It’s dry-rubbed with Asian spices and served with grilled asparagus and a tangy red pepper slaw, along with a generous portion of white or brown rice. The dish with brown rice is both healthy and satisfying. **What I Didn't Like:** Unfortunately, the asparagus was limp and lacked any crunch, and the salmon was a bit dry. However, adding a squeeze of lemon helped enhance the flavor. One of my friends ordered the Almond Cashew Chicken wok classic, which came with stir-fried bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, celery, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts in a garlic soy sauce. Personally, I found there was too much sauce for my liking, but she seemed to enjoy it with the fried rice, which comes at an extra cost. Another friend chose a lighter option, pairing a California Spring Roll with a bowl of hot and sour soup. She was pleased with her selection. For dessert, my friends opted for the Banana Spring Rolls, which come as six pieces on a plate accompanied by three small scoops of coconut-pineapple ice cream, drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauces. The dish is garnished with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but my friends loved it. The ambiance of the restaurant is visually stunning, and the service was friendly, approachable, and efficient. Additionally, the restaurant validates parking for those using the multi-level garage."
