"Went to this restaurant because it was one of the only ones that was still open and kind of by accident. It turned out to be the best restaurant I went to during my whole trip in Waikiki. I went to a bunch of expensive restaurants and the food here out did the others at half the price. I was so glad I found it. It is not next to the other busy restaurant on the main road. It was actually hidden back more and was great walking distance from many hotels. I would recommend this if you want some great food."

"WONDERFUL!! Not sure if I like it quite as much as I do Sistina (by the same owner). Primarily because Caravaggio is under construction awnings so the outdoors is not as pleasant. Food and staff, however are great. We had the caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes, the sashimi, the fettuccine vongole (fab) and the vitello tonnato. And for dessert a refreshing rhubarb sundae. Very attentive staff."

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."

"What a disappointment our visit to The Lafayette at The Hay Adams was. I've lived in DC for nearly ten years, and I had yet to visit The Lafayette (though I'd been several times to Off the Record). Despite the reputation The Hay Adams has and my prior experiences at their underground speakeasy, brunch at The Lafayette was shockingly poor (both objectively, as well as compared to the relative status of the hotel). The Food: decidedly mediocre and subpar to expectations the **** mary was poorly mixed (separated) and hardly seasoned the poached egg on the crab cake benedict was entirely unsalted and tasted extremely watery the crab cake on the crab cake benedict was mushy and the quality you would expect from the freezer aisle (edible, but not remotely worth the cost at the restaurant the cherry souffle looked and tasted like the chef was giving it their very first go and hadn't made a souffle before; the top didn't rise, the inside was undercooked and wet far beyond "moist", and the taste was pretty bland The service was also inattentive and slow. Given our experience, I would discourage people from eating here, as there are myriad other restaurants in the district with views of the city/WH, better service, and decent-tasting food for the same cost"

"The apple strudel was very soft and delicious, but it should have been separated from the cream and ice cream. It would have been better if it was in its own bag away from the hot food. The Viennese schnitzel sandwich was disappointing as the chicken had strange pieces in it that made it inedible. The fries were bland and not very flavorful. The crispy Brussels sprouts were okay, but not something I would order again. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant."

"We all loved LaSalette, it was slightly different from some of the Portuguese food we are used to eating in South Africa but excellent! They have a wonderful menu of starters, mains, desserts and Portuguese wines and ports as well as local wines. We had a vino verde, alvarino, Cod Cakes, the Caldo Verde soup, seasonal veggies and Pork Clams, and topped off a delicious meal with the fruit dessert which had pears poached in port and passion fruit mousse mmmm so delicious. Everything was homemade, the service was top notch (better than the awful service at our so called 5 star hotel), we got lots of little free tasties from the chef, and the setting was so cozy and warm, you can even sit outside on the patio and enjoy their beautiful fairy lit trees. Parking: There's street parking which is free at night and on Sundays.
