The Chicken Karaage could have benefited from some seasoning and a better sauce, but on its own, it was decent. "The tea was great! The downside is the boba. The boba is consistently tough and tastes worse than any other boba chain in the area. We got honey green tea w/ boba and a peach mango slushie with lychee jelly. The honey green tea was amazing, not way over sweetened (like most places do it), but again the boba actively made me enjoy the drink less. The slushy was great, the lychee jelly tasted good and had a fine texture. "Kung Fu Tea is a bubble tea chain that I 've seen in many different towns. It 's by far the one I 've seen the most locations of. That always would somewhat frustrate me as a bubble tea fanatic because I just could not find a drink on their menu that grabbed me like my favorite drinks at my regular bubble tea shops. Heck, one of the locations where I 'm from even has a drive through. How nice would that be as a bubble tea fan? Things finally changed on this visit to San Marcos. It turns out that I love their Oreo slush. They describe it as an icy blend of Hershey 's chocolate syrup, milk, vanilla syrup, and crushed Oreos . Yes please and expect me to get one anytime I am near a Kung Fu Tea."

"I actually run into this place by accident I had to try some bubble tea! It's such a beautiful spot, if I was alone I would have stayed little longer. But my son was tired we had a long commute coming back home. Because they were busy, we had to wait for our order took the chance for some pictures Ofcource..!Altho when I walked inside it took me back to the Flushing tea place, they could have chosen a different color to give that authenticity! But it's ok, it's very cute ! As long as the drinks service is great nothing else matters much!Service was great, I got the coffee milk bubble tea, my son got the Oreo bubble tea . Bothe were very good ! In a hot summer day how refreshing! If you near that area one day definitely need to stop by!"

You can taste the lychee in the tea and it tastes pretty light! The boba texture is a good mixture of chewy and soft which is the perfect consistency for me. The popcorn chicken is hands down the best around the DFW area (from at least the places that I have tried). It's crunchy, hot, fresh, seasoned well and the list goes on and on. This is my go-to place close to UTD for popcorn chicken. The crunchiness also stays for a while too! Overall just such good chicken.The Fizzy Peach Pop is definitely well-carbonated and has great peach flavor! I think there was jelly included as well which was chewy and added a fun texture to the drink! I would say it is decently sized compared to other boba places but not too large. "We stopped by ViVi boba tea after we had dinner and before we went shopping for groceries. Everything in one place, So convenient!! It is inside of Jugaso supermarket right on top of the stairs facing the produces and spices. I gave them 5 stars because of the friendliness of the staff and the quality of their boba tea. My siblings and I tried the Matcha slush, taro milk tea, and brown sugar milk tea and they were all delicious. Right level of sugar and ice, good amount of toppings with the milk tea and all freshly made. Parking is plentiful so no complaints there. I would recommend you trying it if you haven't already."

"I always love this place, I've been going here for years. I always go here when I want to eat out, but don't want to break the bank. It's one of the few boba places that has good boba AND food. Boba is great, they have a punch card system after you buy six drinks. The food is a good price for the area, I especially like the chicken bowl with mayo and the minced meat and cabbage. The onigiri is a bit pricey, but it always comes out hot and tastes like they just made it so I can't complain. It's been years but I wish they still had their entree free drink lunch deal fly high covid era deals.... i will miss you...."

"I've been coming to Vivi's for years and have always loved the drinks and food they have to offer. I do come here way more often than I should but for good reason. It's hands down the best boba shop in South Jersey. I almost never have a complaint about anything I order from here, especially when Ryan is there. The only thing I can say, is whenever a specific employee is there (I'm not sure of his name) my food and drinks come out messed up or straight up bland. I'm not sure if I did something to upset him but I feel bad having to ask staff to remake my drink or food. I've never had a problem here and have only good things to say. The staff is always extremely kind and accommodating, and it's always a pleasant experience."

"As soon as we walked in, all three employees at the counter greeted us warmly. Since it was my son's first time ordering bubble tea and the menu had so many choices, he asked one of the employees for a recommendation. The employee happily suggested the Okinawa Milk Tea, mentioning it was one of her favorites and a popular option among customers. After placing our order, the employee quickly got to work, and within less than a minute, my son had his drink in hand. He found the boba balls to be absolutely delicious—so much so that he saved some to enjoy over the next two days, looking forward to it each time. It's amusing how something as simple as bubble tea can bring him so much joy, especially when it’s a lot more affordable than the latest video game or trendy shoes. "I like this location because the interior is nice and there's a good amount of seating inside. The boba drinks are usually good. But why the 2 stars? My friend and I recently ordered the Hot Taro Milk Tea, and although the flavor was good, it was way too sweet. I ordered mine with 50% sugar, while my friend ordered hers with 100% sugar. Mine did not taste any different from my friend's. I couldn't drink it since it was unbearably sweet. I told them it was too sweet and asked if they could do anything to make it less sweet, like adding a bit of non-sweetened tea. The male server said he couldn't do anything and that I should order a new drink with 30% sugar!!! That's horrible customer service! Most good boba shops would remake it, and I didn't even ask him to do that! I ended up throwing the drink away! As for their food, the bulgogi fries and tater tots were good. The popcorn chicken was the worst I've tasted. I had ordered it many times before with hopes it would improve, but nope! Overly salty and tough every single time!"

"Feb 2022Good service, but disappointing bubble tea. The place itself was clean and average size for a bubble tea place. A small table set off to the right holds Grubhub orders. There were dividers all along the back counter and the staff all wore masks.We got a variety of milk teas since we were curious, but they were all rather disappointing, especially when compared to Gong Cha. We got the Strawberry, Taro, Hazelnut, and Tiramisu milk teas with 0% sugar. Except the hazelnut, which uses a syrup and therefore has a set sugar level. Note we always get 0% sugar at a new place to check out the original flavor of the teas.The best one was the strawberry, which tasted half strawberry, half bitter black tea. I was very surprised the strawberry wasn't pink at all, even though it had some strawberry chunks. The taro had a faint taro taste and mainly tasted like almond. Very disappointing. The hazelnut had a definite nutty taste but a slightly artificial aftertaste. Not too bad, but still there. Finally, the tiramisu tasted like stale chocolate (yes, STALE). Now tiramisu usually does have chocolate on top, but it's not the main flavor of tiramisu. For the staleness, I think maybe they tried to add a coffee flavor but totally failed. Note you can choose the type of tea for the tiramisu: black, green, or oolong. We went with the oolong, but maybe the green tea would have tasted better. Either way, very disappointing. The bubble tea at Gong Cha tastes much better.Service was quick and friendly enough. The lady seemed a bit exasperated when I asked her to repeat a question, but I can give her a pass since it was a late Saturday evening. A quick note on the bag: the middle of the bag was notched to provide a snug fit for the bubble tea cups. Very interesting.Most likely won't come again."
