"I decided to dive for a late lunch, and I am glad I did it because as soon as I run in me I put my eyes on this beautiful young lady. she turned out to be my server when she was the only server on layer. she was excellent! She was very nice of the moment I came in. she welcomed me with a very friendly “Hi welcome to waffle House!”. overall I had one of the best experiences I had ever had in a waffle house thanks to my ali server. definitiw will be back soon."

"I was sitting down at the Waffle House in Ashland va and I seen a young BLK girl that works there dig in your nose .I was disgusted when I seen her do that I reported to the manager. I ask him what did he do about it he said he told her to wash her hands but that was a lie. I said no you need to make her wash her hands . I didn’t witness her washing her hands but please check the cameras this is nasty and I didn’t make this up. This was around 1:45 pm today 2/25 /24 . I hope someone does something about this like corporate thanks"

"Stella's is family owned and always consistent with their food. My grandkids and I love the traditional/homestyle French toast. None of us like the challah bread one. I always get the same thing with soft bacon and scrambled eggs. My grandson loves the pork sausage. Stella's is quick and never disappoints. When the young girl answers, I always make her repeat the order back. She's young and still learning."

"From the moment I stepped in, a gentleman held the door open and welcomed me inside. Then, the woman behind the counter—an incredibly friendly young Black woman—smiled at me. I can’t even recall what she said; her energy was so positive it could have been anything! The place had a decent number of customers, so I wasn't the only one there. The cooking staff seemed organized; they weren't shouting across the kitchen, yet it felt like they communicated perfectly, almost telepathically. The strangest part was that I didn’t have time to fully observe how everything worked because my food was ready almost immediately. I thought I would be there for ages—I'd even skipped going to church for this! I paid the cashier and turned to leave. To my surprise, the door was already open. I wished everyone a nice day as I exited. I haven't returned since I moved away from the area, but I hope someone else tries this place and lets me know if it was just a one-time occurrence. It was such a delightful experience, but it was definitely odd for a Waffle House."

"DANA, my waitress at this Waffle House, truly stands out! I stopped by after my court appointment to use the restroom and grab a glass of water while my boyfriend waited outside. He had given me $5 for a drink, but the tempting smell of waffles drew me in, and I couldn't resist getting a blueberry waffle instead. Unfortunately, I realized I didn’t have enough cash. Without hesitation, Dana offered to cover the difference for me. I felt bad that I couldn’t leave her a tip, but I promise if I return, I’ll be ready next time. Dana definitely deserves a generous tip! So, if anyone reading this visits this location, make sure to take care of her! Oh, and by the way, the waffle was amazing too!"

"For me, a trip to Georgia wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Waffle House. Choosing breakfast turned out to be the perfect decision; our server was fantastic and took excellent care of us. The food was delicious, and they even offer sugar-free syrup! The Southern Hibachi Powerhouse still serves their hash browns scattered, smothered, and covered, just the way we love them. "had to get here on the way to home from vacation and the experience was not what I expected. had to sit at least 20 minutes before the waitress at the bar to see if we wanted to drink. another couple came in and they were helped when they came into the door and their door was finished and they were out of the door when our food was even put on the grill. she saw her walk with my cookie for a good 7 minutes until she decided to put the gravitation on the cookies. when I got my order, she gave me speck instead of throwing. She didn't see it all the time when we ate. then, when I needed a tragebox, I looked around and she just stood at the cash desk. She asked her for a box and gave one, said she would keep ours ready. my man had to wait 10 minutes until she brought him the ****. my food was still cold, hath browns were not cooked completely. honestly I love waffel house but this, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone."

"My experience at Waffle House was pretty average—neither extraordinary nor awful. Our server was new and still getting the hang of things. He was friendly and eager to help, but he seemed to have trouble communicating with the cook, which led to several mistakes with our order that had to be corrected. "This is the dirtiest Waffle House ever!!! Their improper sanitary conditions can get patrons sick. I don?t know about other shifts, but this crew was bad. My family and I were driving through states after vaca and decided to stop and get the kids waffles. We went in around 11:30am. They were a bit busy and the restaurant was pretty dirty, but I let it slide cus I thought the waiter would clean up properly after the last customers left so we can sit. There were food under tables and spilled beverage on the floor. Our waiter cleared the tables and wiped it down with a wet towel she took from the kitchen area that was just sitting there. She hardly wiped the tables and then literally threw the towel back to the same area. Later she took the same exact towel and wiped another table without washing or disinfecting it. I was a bit grossed out while we waited for her to finish. I thought she would at least wipe down the chairs and clean up the food that fell on the floor but she didn?t. She called us over and we had to step over the spilled beverage and sit with food below our feet. This franchise should at least have a standard cleaning protocol for staff to follow. Our tables were still sticky and I had to clean it with my own personal wipes. After we ordered our food, I started to look around and to my disgust, you would not believe how dirty the kitchen was. There were food and garbage all over the floor, and dirty counter and stove tops. They just trampled over it back and forth without bothering to pick up or wipe down. There were at least 6 staff members, so no excuse for the dirty conditions. The staff was having their own personal conversations, talking and laughing out loudly over food and drinks in their hands without face coverings. Our waiter even brought us syrup in the filthiest half filled syrup jug, with syrup running down the sides and dirty handles. New customers were seated on the table ahead of us and that spilled drink never mopped up. The bathroom is another subject of concern. Nasty and smelly!!! Our waiter was irritated because we requested to sit in her section. We were a party of 10 and there were more tables available on the right but obviously had to be cleared and cleaned. She refused us and they tried repeatedly to put us on 2 smaller tables that seat 8 and told us to pull up 2 additional chairs but I explained it would be too tight for all of us cus I knew all our plates and glasses would never fit. Management needs to have a serious convo with staff and provide adequate training. I would not recommend this location because of their unsanitary conditions and undertrained staff."

"I did like this place. Today as usual a coworker and myself placed an online order. I go pick it up get back to work to only find that I had raw hash browns and I don’t know what was going on with the disgusting looking bacon. I called back and the girl “Angel” she said was her name told me that I should have put in the comments I wanted my hash browns well done. Continued to try to explain that I’ve never put well done and I have never received raw hash browns. Asked for a manager and there’s not one. She told me Daisy is the owner and was not there. Called back this afternoon and got the same response from “Daisy” which sounded like a 16 year old child. I don’t think myself or coworkers will be going back."
