We flooded this location with 19 people at 11p. Ms. Rita our server was outstanding. The food was delicious and came out quickly and promptly.These folks know how to run a restaurant.

Always great food but the service was even better. Everyone there appeared to be happy to be there. Very friendly staff! Great location to stop and have a bite. Very clean, the cleanest I have seen in a long time. View menu

She arrived at 6 o'clock after a delay at the airport. Our server, Katie, was incredibly friendly. There was an issue with my order, but it was quickly resolved. The food was good as well. I'd definitely return, mainly for the excellent service.

Waffle House isn’t something I frequent, but when I do go it’s usually late at night after work. When I do go, server Katie always greets me with a smile and is already working on my order. I get lucky and usually get there right when the fresh tea is made so everything is hot lol.

Tried to order a bunch of food, was told by a very rude woman who works here that she was too busy and she was refusing to do take-out orders tonight. This woman is always rude, angry and unhelpful. She cost Waffle House at least $80 with our order, wonder how much else she's costing the company. As a result we won't be going back here. Avoid Pocahontas Trail Waffle House if you want to be treated right at night. I will be calling their head office to complain. View menu

This is the best Waffle House I have ever been in! We live in King William and we will drive past The Mechanicsville location to go there! Always friendly, never a long wait. There was only a waitress and cook. There were 3 to go's waiting, the bar are was full, and 3 booths with total of 12 customers. Everyone's food was received timely, the workers were not stressed and complaining. Wish I had gotten their names, to post this directly. We were there on 5/14/22 around 11pm.

This is by far the worst Waffle House I've ever been to. I visited twice, and both times the waitress was unfriendly and rude. On my first visit, the chef, who was a young girl, apologized to us and took our order. However, I overheard an older staff member making comments about me, saying I didn't know what I wanted. During my second visit, we had just finished eating, and I didn’t want the rude staff member to handle my food. The table was dirty, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families with children. had to get here on the way to home from vacation and the experience was not what I expected. had to sit at least 20 minutes before the waitress at the bar to see if we wanted to drink. another couple came in and they were helped when they came into the door and their door was finished and they were out of the door when our food was even put on the grill. she saw her walk with my cookie for a good 7 minutes until she decided to put the gravitation on the cookies. when I got my order, she gave me speck instead of throwing.
