"Ebisu is a great sushi restuarant that needs to find itself. The menu is over the top huge (which usually scares me)but the sushi/sashimi selection was excellent. The service was slow to start but once our waitress was engaged, she was right on. The atmosphere was quite and clean. We tried a variety of sashimi and nigiri, all of which was fresh and delicious. Our favorites were the o toro, salmon belly, hamachi belly, and monk fish liver a rare find!. If you're a sushi/sashimi purist, then you'll appreciate this place."

"Atmosphere is great and the food and drink selection were what you would expect from a Landrys property. Our server Wendy was the highlight of the visit. She gave us great recs on what to do on our stay there and is a big reason why we will be returning. The oysters were very good and the fish and chips and fish tacos were a great meal. Glad we stopped in to this fun and flavorful establishment."

"About to destroy this take out! The Savior of North Durham when it comes to those looking to satiate their craving for consistently delicious Mexican food! Want to get a buzz without leaving your home? Have a mango margarita delivered to your house. Extremely fair portions for the price. Also you can tell the quality of a Mexican restaurant by the quality of their chips salsa and boy will the bar get set high for you after you try theirs (which always come with a side of delectable, savory sweet white cheese sauce in addition to the salsa). Very personable staff, too. I always prefer a more 'home cooked, ' not withholding the spice flare to Mexican fare these guys deliver that in droves. Only difference is that they aren 't hit or miss like a lot of other hole in the wall places they 're running a fully professional, volume based business, but instead of watering things down like so many other Tex Mex style restaurants, they 're providing you with food that tastes like it was prepared in your kitchen by an extremely talented Mexican chef."

"My mom loves this place and anytime she's in town, she wants to go there to eat. Service is always hit or miss. This time it was a miss. Food and drinks came out just fine but when it came time for our bill that I asked for, it took asking 3 more people and 20 minutes just to get it. Back to the food; the queso was super watery and didn't even resemble what queso should look or even taste like. We didn't touch it after our first bite. The fajita taco salad was good but the enchiladas were dry. It was kinda disappointing because we really used to love this place. Maybe they were just having one of those off days. I'm sure we'll be back because this is my mom's favorite place but I can definitely think of much better mexican food to consume elsewhere in Houston. I'm genuinely disappointed."

"I wanted to check out this restaurant, so I went to place my order. I had to wait for about 10 minutes before someone finally came out. Despite the fact that the place was completely empty, I had to ring a bell next to the cashier to get someone's attention. A voice from the kitchen said that someone would assist us shortly. After waiting for 10 minutes and still not being helped, I decided to leave. I definitely will not be returning to this restaurant."

"UGHHHH! I should have put the reviews in order of most recent for honest reviews! First time trying SALTY George's and first time using Uber Eats. Uber Eats was great, George's was just blahhhhhh! Chicken breast entree: Chicken was overcooked by FAR flattened, SUPER SALTY, super garlicky. The hummus is so bland that it's like just squashed chick peas with NOTHING added. The rice was oily. Somehow, I got only 3 quarters of ONE round pita!?!? Gyro: OILY OILY OILY...for no reason. It was super bland. Of course, the hummus on this was BLAND as well. On top of that, the fries and onions were MIA!!!! Tzaziki sauce...NOT! That tastes like just straight up yogurt! I think a tiny chunk of cucumber MAY have fallen into it. DISAPPOINTED to the max!"

"Best decision! We could have went to Walmart buy and cook what we wanted but for. The variety, PRICE, convenience, quickness, quality and quantity, it was BEST to eat out! WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH OUR CHOICE AND YOU WILL BE TOO! When I say fast I mean fast, not rushed just attentive. I barely had time to take pictures lol! It was wonderful, we walked in and we were immediately greeted, we said two and she who greeted us also seated us. She picked the perfect booth! As SOON as We were seated she was back with warm chips and salsa for the table. After that our waiter came and got our drink order. Lucky for us we already knew what we wanted to order. She leaves and in the time it takes to walk to the bar and back she had our drinks ready... I needed a minute, to look over the menu (to take pictures of the menu lol), and then we ordered. I think all in all the most time between any action was my need for pictures, otherwise overall experience was friendly, fast and delicious! Food was beautifully plated. The Quesadilla tortilla was to die for like definitely unique light and buttery. My tacos were stuffed and one was filling, I took the rest Togo. All in all we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, decompress from work and sit out the traffic, then we realized it's only been 30 minutes!? That's freaky fast service and we are more than grateful. We highly recommend! Service was amazing years ago (we cook more than we eat out) and today was no different it wasn't yet crowded but it felt comfortable and again the service will make you feel like you are the only table that matters, yet I saw her attend to multiple. Kids of all ages are welcomed here. Let's not forget the affordable ticket total for two was only $25! we will be back soon. For the saving likely once a week."

"Exactly how wings should be done at a hot wings/fried rice deli kind of place. It was great mainly CHEAP especially with the wing shortage and inflation. Flavors tasted great and wings were delicious. The only thing is, there was just 2% missing from the flavor. I don't know what it was, but it was just missing. The owners seemed extremely nice and that 2% missing isn't gonna stop me from frequenting this place. I hope these small businesses can bloom from this hard time. The flavors we ordered were hot buffalo, lemon pepper and honey garlic pepper. Wished the hot buffalo was a LITTLE hotter. But then again, I'll just order extra hot next time!"

"The food was great. The customer service was a 5 out of 10 at best. I called the order in was told it would be 20 minutes before ready. I get there 25 minutes later and that's when they decided to cook my order. So another 25 minutes go by before my order was ready. As I'm waiting others are coming in with the same complaint of already called in order and still waiting for them to cook the orders. Just tell people the truth, cooked as it is paid for that's all you have to do. Simple customer service is EVERYTHING!!! Probably be my last trip here"

"Shakers is a charming breakfast spot in College Park. I tried several dishes, including an omelet and a grilled muffin, and everything was delicious! The highlight for me was definitely the grilled blueberry muffin. This isn't your typical greasy diner; the food is of excellent quality and made exactly how I requested. The standout aspect of this place was the server—I've rarely encountered anyone as efficient, friendly, and helpful. I believe her name was either Becky or Betsy, but she is a significant asset to Shakers!"

"I wouldn’t recommend this place. My experience started off poorly. The woman who took my order barely spoke to me—she only said a couple of words, and when I asked about the sauce, she just pointed to the screen. It felt quite rude and unkind. Meanwhile, the next customer in line received a friendly greeting and was treated much better. I ordered wings, while the woman after me ordered a dinner plate, and she received her food first while I was left waiting. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I can't help but mention that I'm Hispanic and the woman after me was white. I won’t be returning to this place."

"OMG! This place is the best! Service was excellent, the food is soooo good. I have to say I am not a fan of corn tortillas but this place has the best tortillas, right temperature and so soft that just melts and blends really well with any choice of taco. The place it self it's very nice, inviting the right place for a family night out or just to hang out with your friends and enjoy every bite!! "Ownership has recently changed and this restaurant did a U-Turn for the worst. Shrimp are half the size they use to be and now the fish is made with a different batter (large rough cornmeal). It use to be fine and flaky. Coleslaw is now in tiny containers. They also lost almost all of the their old staff that was excellent and very friendly. After three years of being a regular customer I will no longer be going back. Why someone would buy a successful business and change everything I don't understand."

"Food is horrible and my wings were soggy. My chicken sandwich had the smallest piece of chicken I've ever seen in my life. My friend mushrooms tasted like dirt, which means they didn't clean them. "Cute eatery. Fantastic service along with a fabulous choice of food. The special's board helped me make my decision of the 3 tacos along with the mango margarita for only $5! Each of the tacos were distinct in flavor. The broth that accompanied the tacos brought it altogether. My friend had the nachos and devoured it with my broth. I didn't think he could eat the whole thing but he did! It was enough for 2 people but he said the carne asada was so tender he couldn't stop eating it!"

"I came here on a Wednesday night, was not busy at all. We ordered 2 batters fish tacos, 1 battered shrimp taco, 1 shrimp tostada, and 1 shrimp cocktail. The food was *chef's kiss* sooo good. I was pleasantly surprised for such a local place to actually be such a hidden gem. I can't wait to come back here and try the rest of the menu. The food tasted so fresh and the price is worth it because you get A LOT of food for what you're paying for. The service was great we had a very friendly waiter. The location itself is very cute they have seating inside and outside. There is free street parking in front or a free lot in the back. Overall can't wait to come back here."
