"The food was decent, but definitely overpriced for what it offered. I understand that restaurants are facing challenges at the moment, but there comes a point where it feels more like they’re nickel-and-diming customers rather than struggling. I asked for a piece of toast, and while most places would give you two, they charged me an extra dollar for it. Instead of simply indicating that there's a fee for credit card payments at the register, they add a customer service fee, which they only explain afterwards. It feels disingenuous. Given how already pricey the food was, this just seemed petty. Paying $14 for two pancakes? Really? That’s outrageous."
