"As you can see I have visited this establishment before. Post pandemic has definitely changed this establishment. No more free chips and salsa while you look at the menu and decide what drink your going to order. The price of the margaritas went up drastically. The price of the tacos shot through the roof, imagine six dollars for one taco!! Umm crazy!! Being born and raised in this neighborhood, I can definitely say that gentrification and the pandemic has definitely effected pricing. The nachos plate came with seven chips, IN the entire plate! Where have you ever seen this? This appetizer was $14 for seven nachos and small amount of chicken. Burritos are normally huge and exploding with flavor, this $19 burrito was not any of that. Small plate def not with the cost. I know that very thing has gone up but when you give a patron something worth while, they will be back. I can say good bye and not feel bad at all."

Service and food were both excellent. My party had the chicken and steak quesadillas. The food was displayed very well and tasted even better! A great place to stop in for lunch or dinner.

Food was delicious wished the mole was spicy. The margaritas were on point and got the job done. The service was good, servers were friendly and attentive. Love the outside patio, great music as well

The only good thing about this was the location. The burrito was Gordon Ramsey ?Bland?. Where is the Mexican flavour ??? The chilli sauce was also very disappointing. The drinks were ok which is the reason for the second star (one star otherwise).Overall very disappointed to pay 80 bucks for two burritos and two drinks.

Will travel for a good Michelada and this place definitely gets 5 stars for this drink. We came here for happy hour and we had wings (yum) and flautas. The Buffalo wings had the perfect kick and were so yummy we shared two orders. We also had the cheese flautas. This place has a nice vibe with great music. Andy took care of us and he was so nice! Will be back here again!!!! I wish they made micheladas like these in Nassau county! View menu

The food was very bland, the torta my friend had was very lacking and was not worth 20 dollars, this food is very much made for bland tastebuds, the aguachiles I had was a but better but not so good, the shrimp where not deveined for the price and didn?tcome with anything!! Ceviche is usually served with chips and I had to order as a side. This is just an OKAY place???????????they have a small indoor section with a bigger outdoor section under a tent

Mesa Azteca was a good time. I came here with my friends for brunch before a local event and sat in the back patio. We had a reservation and was about 15 mins late but that it was a slow Sunday so both the front and back of the house were pretty empty which initially confused me. Our server was attentive but not annoying which I appreciated. We ordered a few apps between the three of us, the elote and guacamole which were both good. The elote was the standout. I had the tacos, one shrimp, one al pastor and one chicken. They were good but nothing I haven't had before. Overall, Mesa Azteca is a cute space for brunch and drinks that I would suggest for as a pregaming spot or hangout.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
