"Been in Port Chester for many years and finally paid Coyote Flaco a visit. This restaurant has been in town for years and I can firmly say, one of the best Mexican/Ecuadorian places I’ve eaten at. The seating is traditional. Outside. On picnics tables.It was the best! Pictures are the chimichangas, table salsa and a pitcher of their jalapeño margaritas. The service was prettyfast. The menu was very long but the classics always called out as house favorites. Went with a few coworkers and they were allhappy. Give Coyote Flaco a try if you’re ever in the area."

"We had a great experience at La Costa! I had the enchiladas with green sauce, and my husband had the skirt steak. The sauce on the enchiladas had a great kick of heat. Not too much where it is overpowering, but enough to open up the sinuses. The skirt steak was delicious also, and there were plenty of leftovers. Our server was great, the weather outside on the patio was perfect, and we had a great time. We'll definitely be back!"

"We’ve been walking by Los Mariachis for years and finally got a chance to stop in. Hands down the best Mexican food in the neighborhood. Super authentic and a great menu. We got tacos, chicken and steak both excellent. LA style tacos. No flourtortillas here. Also got chicken milanesa platter. Comes with rice and beans. the quesadilla was not why I expected. It wasfried and amazing. The waitstaff was so great. Definitely will be back soon. I’ve been so curious about this spot. What anamazing restaurant on CIA."

"I went 5 minutes with no drink with my mouth on fire while my waiter threw himself through the silver doors to kitchen followed by a round of applause and laughter. He did this 4 times until he finally heard my raised voice and my finger pointing at him. He refilled my drink. I told him I would need another quickly. His Manager started taking care of our table. When I told no guacamole, he said oh, we'll put it on the side. I said put it on my wife's plate. He said no, on the side. I finally raised my voice and told him not to put guacamole anywhere on my plate. He delivered our meals. My wife had ordered Xtra sour cream and got a good size dish. I got a teaspoon on top of shredded lettuce. I asked for extra sour cream. He said you have some there on your plate. I said that will not be enough. He pointed at my wife's bowl. I said, that is for her dinner. With the Manager came up to hear the waiter inform me Sour Cream is not free. She asked is there a problem? I said yes, this young man says I have plenty of sour cream and it isn't free. I want more sour cream for my fajitas. From that point she took over. My bill. From what I can figure my bill should have been $49. It was $58 but I was not allowed a detailed receipt. I left a $10 tip for the Manager. You have been our favorite Mexican restaurant for somewhere near 9 years. We come from Anderson to eat there. We will be finding a new Mexican Restaurant."

"Had a great lunch here, food was delicious and well prepared and the service was fast and friendly. Was looking for a place for lunch and we saw how packed it was as we drove by so we decided to try it. Service was friendly and made great recommendations. We had seafood tacos and the tropical seviche. The tacos were fantastic, breaded and fried fish and shrimp were delicious and the toppings/sauce were right on. I had not had tropical seviche before, and it was awesome! Made with whole shrimp and octopus it had a very... well duh... tropical flavor to it with nice pineapple taste and very different than traditional seviche I have had. The portions were also generous for the price."

"The customer service was excellent; I really appreciated how attentive our waiter was. He frequently checked in to see if everything was okay, kept our drinks refilled, and demonstrated great manners throughout our meal. He definitely earned a well-deserved tip! As for the food, it was good, and I would likely return. The only downside was the noise level from the music—it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. But, given that it’s a Mexican bar-style place, I suppose that's to be expected. Just be prepared for a hefty bill if you’re planning on having a full course meal! Dinner for two came to $84 plus tip, and we didn’t even order any alcoholic drinks. Nevertheless, my husband left satisfied!"

"Surprisingly delicious, high quality food in a shaded environment. Burrito had a lot of delicious, clean, white meat chicken, and the food was served piping hot with a delicious creamy green salsa. The service was attentive, but could use something fine tuning; for example, the chips were greasy and without salt. My iced tea was constantly refilled, but no additional ice cream was offered so that the drink became warm. Nevertheless, I would eat here again and hope that they will change their dining rooms until then."

"We were able to easily make reservations. Unfortunately two members of our party were running late, however the hostess in the front made it very easy to accommodate and change our reservation in order to get a table once the rest of the party joined. The food and ambiance was great, however service could have been a bit better had to get up in order to get water, utensils and be able to place our food and drink orders as the waiter was not near or around our outside seating area. Overall expeirence was good however would have been great if service during our dinning was better."

"The restaurant only offers a brunch menu for breakfast, including a Fruit Platter, Entree, and Dessert. We were informed that we could request our burrito to be made vegan, but there were limited options available. We had to substitute black beans and cilantro rice for the Mexican rice, which contains chicken stock. The quality of the food and presentation did not meet our expectations given the price. Overall, I would say that this restaurant is not very vegan-friendly for breakfast. I suggest exploring other options for breakfast."

"We were vacationing here and craving Mexican cuisine. Jose Tequila's did not disappoint! Let's keep it simple. There was no wait. There was a bunch of extremely helpful waiters. There was a bunch of good food! Everything was also incredibly clean and inviting. Their guacamole dip was enough to win me over. It was very fresh and delicious. Our food was prompt, hot, and tasty. I can't remember what my dish was called, but I've attached a picture. It was a very healthy portion and did not disappoint at all. Definitely try this restaurant out!"

"They provide an abundance of sauce on the side, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. The presentation is so neat and beautiful that I’ve never enjoyed a salad without meat like this before. "Came here for a late lunch/early dinner. As the timing was a bit off I thought I might be disappointed but nooo! Upon arrival you notice this is an older establishment but homey all the same. We each ordered margaritas. Hubs ordered the blended strawberry and I ordered the skinny on the rocks, extra lime. We ordered entrees at same time as drinks as we were starving. Drinks arrived within minutes of hearing the blender working its magic. While we were both enjoying our drinks our food had arrived. Eric had the cheese crisp with carne asada and I had the quesadilla José with shrimp. The cheese crisp had guacamole on the side and my entree had sour cream on the side. Both entrees were delicious, lots of shrimp in the quesadilla and plenty of cheese, the crisp was nice and crispy and plenty of carne asada marinated to perfection, nice and tender. The service was quick and efficient and all staff were came in to contact with seemed cheerful. We will be back to try other menu options."

"I called the North Church Street location trying to place a order and they hung up on me and all I was trying to order was a steak quesadilla and they couldn't understand that if you can't understand English then why do you have a restaurant here with the majority of the people speaking English every time I call and try to place the order nobody can understand me for some reason.."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without getting involved. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"I come here often with my husband and my adult children. We enjoy coming in and supporting a family ran business. The food is great and it always tastes the same which is, for me, important. A lot of restaurants since Covid, have changed out their ingredients for cheaper ones and sacrificed taste to save money. This is not the case at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive and we have a great experience every time. They take cash or debit/credit cards. There is also an option if you pay with debit/credit where you can add the tip to the bill so you don't have to leave a cash tip if you don't carry cash on you. The atmosphere is great, they have a few TVs on the walls so you can watch TV while you eat. It is family friendly so you can bring your younger kids in with you. They do sell adult beverages. My husband generally gets a corona and I usually get a tropical margarita. I only eat either the tacos carne asada (steak) with corn tortillas, or their chipotle burrito. My husband loves their Colorado burrito. Its very spicy and he likes his hot peppers. My son either goes for the tacos carne asada with corn tortillas or shrimp fajitas. If you have a shellfish intolerance or allergy they do serve shellfish, but I have not had any issues with cross contamination and luckily not had an allergic reaction. My daughter usually goes for their chicken and white queso... I forget the actual name of it, forgive me. She loves it and orders it every time we come in. The prices are affordable and if you're on a tight budget you're paying about the same as you would for a meal at certain unnamed burger places... But with way more food, that tastes way better than the processed meat you get at a fast food burger joint, and with better ambiance than the local fastfood places. Its a great place for celebrations, get togethers, dates etc. I am not certain but I think they might do take out catering. I will ask and edit my post next time I go in to reflect a yes or no on that. My husband and I want to renew our vows and are actually wanting to order from them for our reception when we do our renewal of vows. You should definitely check them out! Try their chorizo con queso as a side to go with your tortilla chips. Its amazing! this place and glad to have found them. They're located in Plainfield Indiana and are not far from Five and Below. If you get a chance to come in and see them, do so. You won't be disappointed!"

"Visited here for the first time with my husband and his cousin who was visiting NY. It was one of the few places that had available tables on a Friday night and took reservations. When we arrived we had to wait a few minutes for them to clear our table and the entire restaurant was super crowded. They did have glass partitions between tables but considering COVID-19 is airborne, those would do very little in terms of protection. Thankfully, we?re fully vaccinated. Our server was a real gem. She was so sweet and attentive. We had to yell everything across the table because it was sooooo loud! Turning the music down 10% would have made it more comfortable. When the mariachi band played, as fun and enjoyable as it was, the combination of that plus the music raised the noise levels to about 110 decibels. Workers should get their hearing tested. The food was alright. Nothing too special. Tostones were hard as rocks! Shrimp tacos were dry, overcooked, and flavorless. Chicken fajitas were bland. I actually ate the sides that accompanied my husband?s main course and didn?t touch my tacos again after 1 bite. The highlight of the night were the drinks. God damn they make a mean margarita! I tried the Willy?s Panchos margaritas. It was sooo strong but so delicious. This is definitely the place to go if you want great tasting and well-priced cocktails but don?t care too much about getting food. Everyone says the other locations are more spacious, perhaps I?ll try those next time."
