"I want to start off saying, I’m not slamming the bar/restaurant… but be aware of how much you’re charged. We had dinner reservations at 5pm and arrived early. Decided to have a drink in the bar. Bought two cocktails looked at the prices as signing the credit card receipt. Noticed one was $15, okay thought a little high but they know the prices. Right? The rest of party arrived and we were seated. Our server was wonderful and attentive. At the end of our meal she brought over individual bills which was great we asked for when originally seated. My friend goes to the restroom and leaves me $100 to pay for her bill. As I put the money inside the bill holder, I notice the same cocktail I bought at the bar is now $10… not $15. I ask the server if it had been happy hour for that price. She replied, we don’t have happy hour. I comment on how the same drink in the bar was $5 more. She tells me she’ll check into it. A little while later… maybe a manager, not sure because he doesn’t introduce himself comes to the table. Had zero explanation and doesn’t even try to explain the $5 difference. Just tells me he’ll take the $5 off my bill. Truthfully it’s not the money, but the principle. I tell him it’s very deceitful and how many people are they doing this to and they never notice. Advice look at your bill!!!!"

"hubby and I are often customer in this restaurant, most seafood are fantastic and do not have a lingering fish taste or smell in the restaurant. the braised short rib pasta, black chicken pasta, ribeye, fishtacos and steamed edamame are delicious. each is not too salt or too blande, although, the fish taco, it can need a bit of seasonal or more fish meat. bartenders: becca, syd, regina and tim, they are amazing people and will make their experience as good as possible. they do their best to serve people as quickly as possible; only please understand that there are many people with short employees and can be too hectic, but it is not on them. Lib’s grill is a good place to chill and milk."

"What a fantastic place! We sat at the bar and were entertained by Chris, the bartender. He was incredibly efficient and quick, which left us quite impressed! When I complimented him, he attributed his skill to the great team he works with, saying he couldn't do it alone. What an outstanding employee! It really seems like a well-managed restaurant with a fantastic team. We ordered the pig nachos and wings, and they were both excellent. Even though the restaurant was crowded, we received great service, enjoyed delicious food, and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!"

"The Fairmont name has always evokes the mindset of old world class and excellence. I had not been there in years, so I was excited to celebrate my sister's 73rd birthday there. The valet service was superb. However, our experience at High Tea was anything but that. Our server Fermin was very attentive, but he could not compensate for the awful selection of bites we were served. I will make this short but certainly not sweet. The selections had little to no flavor, and quite honestly, they could have easily been left-overs from the day before. The quality was worst than you would expect from a storefront Tea house. Not at all worth the price, and I will never return for High Tea or any other meal. Such a disappointment!"

"our first time on even keel fish and oyster. we were very pleasantly surprised. the oysters from the west coast were very fresh and tasty. we tried the special grilled cheese sandwich with crumb and truffle oil. it was very tasty and unique. the seafood cahowder was excellent. good security protocols and service were awarded by our server lauren. they move at the end of the year to a place at the sea in lauderdale at the sea. they will do really well there."

"Steak was well cooked Prime Angus beef as I asked. Salmon was dry though. The waitress forgot to give us the specials until we asked and didn't come over often to check if we needed anything when I did. Very crowded and noisy environment if you want a more personal environment."

"while the place is beautiful and eating was good, the tiny gnats that have plagued us made our experience less than pleasant. they were all about our eating and us. When we mentioned this to our waitress (which was hoping for a fan or taken home), she only said that she was happy that they were not bees. we saw that others were constantly rolling around their serviettes. it should have been handled better. also we have booked a table on the line, which suggests that there were only two seats, which were on 2pm and one on 5pm. they imagined our surprise when we arrived and the entire indoor dining room was empty with many tables available in free. when we mentioned this to the host, he and said the on line service does not work well with reservations!"

"This was a fantastic brunch experience! A unique dining experience awaits at this Houston landmark. The various dining areas are all special regardless of which one you are seated in. We arrived with no reservations and were seated immediately in the outdoor patio area. So beautiful and tranquil. The temperature was perfect today! Our server was on point. Friendly and not over bearing. The menu is mouth watering just to read! We ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and the French Toast. Exceptional!! The presentation was beautiful and the flavors divine!!! Parking can be challenging, though plenty of easy street parking near by. Very reasonably priced for this level."

"I just ate here again. I ordered the same thing, nacho supreme no tomato chips on the side. This time it came in the Aluminum pan that it usually comes in. It was a good portion, I got full, It tasted great and was worth the price. Always make sure they put it in the Aluminum pan, not the styrofoam container. I forgot to take a picture this time because I was so hungry. I just started eating sorry! This review is for one meal the word meal is used very loosely. I ordered my supper for delivery Nacho Deluxe with no tomatoes and chips on the side price was $10.65. When it got here it felt like a good weight and was in a round aluminum dish as usual. But I noticed there was tomatoes on it so I had the driver take it back to be fixed. (Gave driver extra tip for his troubles wasn't his fault) When I got the replacement I noticed it weighed at least half as much as the first one and was packaged differently. This one was in a square styrofoam container lined with very thin aluminum foil. The food wasn't even a centimeter deep I put my fork in to show depth. (See pictures) Had to be extra careful or the chips would poke a hole in the extremely thin foil. Ten chips in it was gone. I spent $10.35 for half an appetizer. Now I have to figure out what to have for supper."

"Went for the first time a couple weeks ago, and fell in love. All the food ive had has been excellent. The lady behind the bar was very polite and easy to get along with. The one thing that really blew my mind was how clean this place was. For the area its in and it being a bar this place is exceptionally clean. This is definitely the new lunch spot for now on. If you like mushrooms get the fried mushroom chips, I promise you wont be disappointed."
