I ordered the Crab Benedict, Country Benedict, a side of bacon, coffee, and a mimosa flight. The Benedicts were delicious, with flavorful gravy and perfectly cooked eggs. However, the country potatoes and hash browns were nothing special. The bacon was disappointing, as it was low quality and lacked flavor. The coffee was served with Land O Lakes half and half in small, shelf-stable containers. The mimosa flight, consisting of three shot glasses, was interesting but slightly overpriced at $12 for approximately 4.5 oz total. The seating appeared to be taped with electrical tape, indicating that the booths may need new seats."

"This place is over priced and trash. The people behind the counter spend most of the time with their backs turned so you're standing there like helllooo?? And the egg and cheese sandwiches are 7 bucks and they skimp on the meat but POUR pepper and salt. It's gross and I have no idea how the transplants living in Astoria give this place 5 stars.The sausage for the sausage egg and cheese are the little coin Patties that you buy at the supermarket, and they turn around and charge 7 bucks for it. That's assuming they didn't screw up the order which they do CONSISTENTLY."

"I ordered food from this restaurant for the first time last night for my extremely picky mom. She ordered the chicken with broccoli and garlic over spaghetti. She was so pleased with the meal that she wanted to call and compliment the chef, which is very unusual for her. Now I have to try it myself. Thank you for making my picky mom happy!"

"Food was great…cream of mushroom soup; wedge salad; salmon; and steak and fries- cheese grits were a little lumpy and under seasoned though. Well priced and nice atmosphere. I imagine it was a fluke but our service was not great. We sat for 20 minutes without as much of an “Ill be right with you”. I finally went up to the host station when a couple was seated next to us, 20 minutes after us, and was immediately greeted, had water and had their wine corked! A server did come over then but was very abrupt and practically dropped our plates and ran instead of making us feel welcome or perhaps even offering an apology for the undue delay! Would we go back- Yes …. but with the hope that we would get a better server!"

"We finally tried the Philly Shack and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!!! Both my husband and myself got 8in Philly cheesesteaks. I got mine with mayo, pickles, banana peppers, green peppers, and onion. My husband and I both loved our food, SO SO SO GOOD!! Didn’t get fries or anything, honestly the sandwich itself was enough. I ate half, took a break, and then ate the other half ? but I highly recommend it you want a good Philly cheesesteak!"

"I visited Calico County with my husband and his parents last month! I’ve been to the restaurant several times, and this is my first review. Calico County is a staple of home cooking in the River Valley! It’s one of the places I take my family and friends when they visit from out of state! My husband really likes their hand-breaded, chicken tenders. I like to order the vegetable plate!! I ordered mashed potatoes with brown gravy, fried okra, black eyed peas, and turnip greens. Everything was so good! The special thing about Calico County is that they bring out cinnamon rolls before your meal!! Our server was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming and homey. You can tell that they have taken a lot of intentionality in piecing together the decor in the restaurant. It feels very nostalgic! Thank you to the Calico County team for providing an overall positive experience!"

"My server was named Gabriel H, and I have to say, I haven't experienced service like this in a long time. He was well-mannered, polite, and clearly a hard worker. I sat there for 30 minutes and watched him go non-stop, refilling drinks and moving from table to table to take orders. You know how in many places, servers can seem like they’re dragging their feet? It's like they're doing you a favor by bringing you a refill. But not Gabriel! Every time I asked for a coffee refill, he responded with "Sure!" or "Of course!" which was refreshing. I ordered the Fried Steak and Eggs, one of my favorites, and after some disappointing experiences at other places recently, I was pleasantly surprised here. The fried steak was cooked perfectly — not overdone at all. I definitely need to add Marilyn's Cafe back to my list of go-to spots. I will certainly be stopping by again!"

I like a professional waitress family feel breakfast shops add them fit the bill perfectly! 4.99 Menu is badly configured Margarine vs Butter Zero waiter empowerment for flexibility I will always come to see Pam as pictured: The $4.99 special turns into $9.31 when ordering coffee, 2 eggs, pancakes. I like to leave a good tip, so I am for $14 I will do this once or twice a month, but not four times a week as I want. I have helped many small restaurants to get better, and I hope this owner shares some ideas about how to make this in the region a magnet. Let's find out how to pack the restaurant with some menu changes, how to empower the staff to better serve customers and get a win-company seat, employees and customers. "On our way home, we stopped in Gilroy and stumbled upon OD's Kitchen. The service was outstanding, and the food came out quickly and fresh. I had the Linguicia Omelet, which I thought was even better than traditional Portuguese sausage; it was topped with green onions that reminded me of home. The homemade hash browns and cookies were delightful as well. The quality and portion sizes of the food were very generous; we even had leftovers to take with us. I highly recommend checking out this place if you're in the San Jose/Monterey area, as it's conveniently situated between the two."

"We arrived around 12:40 PM. First time, and wanting to try their food. Place was 10% full, and it felt somewhat abandoned to its own faith. Waitress was nice and professional, and the following items were ordered: Waffle Breakfast, $5.99. One egg, half waffle, and bacon. Decent for our lovely senior, but lo and behold! The bacon besides being over cooked, had also more salt than what I considered possible. 3 Stars. 2 Albóndiga Soups, at $7.99 each. Consisted of a very light broth, a little oily, with no special taste, besides being edible. Potatoes previously frozen turned into mush, truly dislikable. Two slices of tomato floating with no apparent plan. 3 Meatballs Mexican style with average flavor. Not a memorable dish, and one best not to repeat. 3 Stars. One Beef Tamale, $3.49. Soft, Bulky, stuffed with shredded beef, not particularly good, nice sauce, and cold in the center. Edible. 3 Stars. Chips were nice. Salsa very nice! Service on the money. 10% discount on Yelp for first time visit. 3.5 Stars. In sequential order: called in around 1:20 PM. Birthday ? Girl wanted late breakfast. As of late she is pursuing a eat less and healthy lifestyle. Voice responding sounded dry, as opposed as our festive mood tone. Try to throw a one liner to elicit a smile ? to no avail, but I?ll take dry no nonsense, to an overly friendly got the order to pick up wrong. Omelet to order: spinach (turned out to be very fresh? , mushroom (like to believe it was not from a can , Asparagus-fresh, and Swiss cheese. Came with harsh brown, very agreeable, and 1 english muffin (flat, unremarkable-where is Thomas English Muffin when you need one? . 2 of above at $12.99? each. Really nice overall. 4 Stars. Belgian Waffle (1 with two plump sausages, scrambled eggs and dedicated fixings. That one for Big Mama, a senior with a voracious appetite, never ending if allowed to continue. Decent taste, price close $11?. Picked up, brought home, ate it with a passion (Mexican siesta ? on a Friday? ."

"This is a Quaint but Beautiful hidden gem in downtown San Antonio. Amber our waitress was polite and attentive. Happy B Day to you!!! Brian was calm and had a welcoming water about him. "So I have known of this place for the last 22 years but never ate here till last week. I decided to try it and I 'm glad I did. The breakfast is very good. I first tried the Breakfast Egg Sandwich. Now I 'm originally from NYC where 2 eggs on a roll is as common as the Empire State building. I have not found anything close to it here in Central Florida, the only place was in Miami. Well this place makes a great egg on a kaiser roll. It 's not equal to its NYC counterpart but a close 2nd. I went back for their Chopped Steak and Eggs, which was very good too. I 'm very happy with their Breakfast and soon will be trying their Lunch specials. Friendly staff and Nancy is very attentive."

"I have been eating at Ahmo’s since my college days. I have always had fantastic tasting food from both the Ann Arbor and Ypsi locations. I was just at the Ypsi location on Monday, and it was the most awful tasting meal ever. The gyro meat was flavorless and dry, the tomatoes were slimy and there were only 3 tiny slices, it had an over abundance of onions (and I asked for NO onions , the pita tasted like old grease, and the rice was a yellow color tasted strange (did they change the kind of rice? . The fattoush had a lot of green peppers, which have never been in the salad and are not on the menu description, and ruined the taste of the salad.The prices have gone way up, which I completely understand, but $15 for a meal that was inedible was absolutely unacceptable. I am so sad, because this was a favorite place of mine to eat. However, that is the last time I’ll be visiting this location."

"We had dinner lastnight and waited half hour for our food, we didn't get out soup or salad ahead of our meal and when we asked the server was rude about it. Then when the meal came both our meals were cold as they must of sat in the kitchen for some time, again the server knew and was snobby about it. No sence in arguing with the server at this point. When you spend 80 dollars for dinner I would expect it to be hot and friendly servers. This person was working behind the bar FYI."

"The food was delightful, with a wide array of options to satisfy any appetite. I ordered a combo—two eggs, two sausages, three pancakes, and a potato scramble. Although I can’t recall the specific name of the combo, I can say it was delicious. Everything was perfect, from the fluffy pancakes to the tasty potato scramble. The service was exceptional as well. All the staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. At one point, a gentleman thanked us for choosing to eat there while refilling my coffee, which I found to be a warm and uncommon gesture in many restaurants. I truly appreciated that.
