"the restaurant was appropriately socially distant and the surrounding noise when eating was nice. the unfortunate part of the experience was eating. three of us four ordered the new yorker strip dinner. only one of the steaks was properly prepared. the waiter did not ask how the meal was or check it back next to the delivery of the bill. that is regrettable because it was an otherwise very beautiful evening. the cocktails were well prepared and the wine was very good. the discussion within the table was that, because the restaurant implements a 20% service fee, there is no longer a drive to ensure that the dining room experience was excellent or at least the value of the meal. subduing service and eating will be the cause for the last trip to wa frost."

"The food was great, but the service was poor. We were of total tables in the downstairs area, so it wasn't due to the place being busy. We sat down and were able to order pretty quickly, and the food arrived not too long after. The problem was that the server just wasn't there after our food was served. Our drinks were out and the bartender actually came out from behind the bar to refill our drinks. Once we were done eating, we waited close to minutes to get the bill. Multiple times we tried to stop our server to ask for it, but she rushed by or didn't come by our table. I would come again because the food was good and just hope that the server was having a bad night"

"While this place does many things right, I find it a little confusing to review as there are several aspects that are not up to par in my opinion. However, they are impressively fast and efficient, and I believe their pricing is fair for the quality of service provided. This is particularly noteworthy in today's environment where one often has to compromise on one thing to get another. On my first visit, I ordered shrimp rice and chicken fried dumplings, and it took less than 10 minutes for my order to arrive. The bill was under $20, which was reasonable. The food looked presentable, and I could see the cashier making dumplings or wontons while I was there, indicating that they are likely made in-house with care. However, the food itself was lacking in flavor in my opinion, although it may be intentionally low in sodium and healthy. It seems to cater to the taste preferences of the residents of the Upper East Side/Sutton Place area who prefer flavorless restaurants. The green peas in the fried rice were hard and dry, and the shrimp seemed slightly undercooked.Despite the negatives, I like the restaurant and plan to give it another try, being more specific about my preferences for the fried rice. They have a condiment table with sauces, chili paste/oil, and other condiments based on individual preferences. I am hopeful that my experience will improve during my next visit."

"Mixed feelings here. The ambiance and service were excellent. Most of the food was wonderful. The cole slaw and the baked beans were the best I’ve ever had and I’m 74 years old and have been in a LOT of barbecue restaurants. My wife’s brisket sandwich was large and flavorful, the brisket cooked perfectly. Here’s the drawback. I ordered a half slab of baby back ribs. What I received was the smallest portion of ribs I’ve ever seen outside a sampler plate. It was maybe a third of a slab, and that pared right down to the bones. What meat there was, and it wasn’t much, was also perfectly cooked and delicious but there was just too little of it. Price points were good and I have to recommend this place just don’t order the ribs."

"Lot of bad things with this place.1. The food just isn't up to par with other Mexican restaurants in the area. Tacombi is miles ahead in taste.2. The chips always taste stale. I've tried ordering them five times and they're always stale.3. They will mess up your online order consistently. All I ordered was a burrito and instead got the plate.4. The prices are very high compared to competitors. The only pros I can give this place is they're quick to make your order and the portions are somewhat big. Still wouldn't recommend going here over other places in the area."

"so first, when they expect the atmosphere of others to be located in the city not. this place is warm, comfortable and eating is delicious. my first time here I had google places for cream brulé. it was the only place close to that which had made it available. I look at work clothes and bf in a cowboy hat and work in a rest. we sat at the bar and oh young was funny! marty and shae have just nailed our whole experience! So the next night we show up again and guess what the food was like the mouthwater and tasty like the first night. the service was intentionally brilliant. only hard-working passionate employees who are righteous to this place. recommend to the apple honey rye old fashioned. first whiskey I had not burned this in mouth or on the way down. next they drink a local distillery. 3 old guys are produced near my hometown in yamhill, oregon. I tried her luredown vodka. super! the whole experience was satisfied!"

"I have been going to the lighthouse since it opened and I've experienced it improve immensely over the years. The bar is owned by a sister and a brother duo who have physically built aspects of the place and spirituality infused a vibrant pulse making it the social beacon it has set out to be.The food in the beginning had room for improvement and it has improved. They make the most delicious sourdough bread and you can purchase a loaf as long as they have them to spare which is a wonderful option especially when you live two blocks away. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. As times have gotten more challenging, portions have shrunk and prices have risen which is understandable, I'm happy to pay more to help a restaurant that has weathered the pandemic storm. One thing I do wish they would consider changing is charging extra for things that are typically offered as complimentary. If someone orders a dish that needs bread to eat it, don't make them order it separately. If a dish needs chips to eat it and not enough are provided, just provide a little bit more without charging them. I've never complained about this as a customer and I would never refuse to pay for extra charges. How ever, I recently brought a somewhat frugal friend here and he flipped out at the extra charge that was not disclosed which he didn't handle well despite having a valid point. We were credit the extra fee. My feeling is that for what the restaurant is charging for things, I really can't see them losing much by not nickel and diming as if it were an à la cart takeout place. I think it is better etiquette to provide typically customary items with dishes as customary. Perhaps this is the new normal, however I have yet to experience another place, at a similar price point, with equally delicious food follow suit. Nevertheless, this is a minor beef with an establishment that overall does an amazing job."

"The food speaks volume and with staff that can match. Shawn was wonderful especially recommending the bread basket and the queso brisket as the ingredients were fresh in the queso, the brisket rich with flavor and tender. First off all the breadbasket was a meal itself with cinnamon butter as the cornbread was soft and sweet, corn bits inside as the butter sent theflavors on another level and the buttery biscuits were thick and fluffy and each bit was amazing. The pretzel bread was softbut not my go to from the other options. The tomahawk steak was a site as it was juicy and tender, each bit kept me eatingmore to keep that flavor logged in My mind. With the asparagus it was great. Loved this place and definitely worth to go as areward for anything."

"The food was upscale fine dining 8 course tasting menu) that tested our taste buds. The chef was able to meet our dietary restrictions pregnancy) quickly and without fuss. Our server was very knowledgable, communicated well, and was great as a server. They do require the entire table to eat the tasting menu if one person orders it. This made our final bill somewhere in the $350 range after 2 tastings $125 each), one canned beer $12), still water $7.50), tax, and gratuity."

"Restaurant was mostly empty and the service still completely unraveled. Seems like the issues are severe understaffing, lack of leadership, training and experience across the team. Food was very good. This was our second visit over two months. Our group’s consensus though was, unfortunately, we probably wouldn’t go back given our two poor experiences. Service can really make or break a dining experience. This place needs an overhaul. Excuse the tough review, but the experience warrants it. I’m sparing everyone the details. Thanks, S"

"A classic diner that is a welcome alternative to all the typical fast food/gas food joints along 95. The diner itself was very clean and well lit, the staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We had the California chicken wrap and the Mexican wrap and they were both exceptional. The ingredients were fresh, the portions were huge and they even included a cup of soup. We upgraded to onion rings and we would highly recommend them. It was our first time there but definitely not our last. All in all a great experience!"

"We ordered the Billy's Classic Burger for $15.00, with a choice of cheddar, Swiss, provolone, pepper jack, or bleu cheese (with jalapeño cream cheese for an extra $0.50). I opted for Swiss cheese, while my daughter chose provolone. The burgers were served on a delicious, toasted bun! They are made with fresh ingredients, cooked to a perfect medium, and come on a brioche bun with a choice of fries, homemade potato chips, or Baja slaw. We went with the fries, which were served hot but were more like heated pommes and quite difficult to chew. The service was excellent, but I really wish I had chosen the homemade potato chips instead of the fries. Overall, I give it three stars."

"This charming little diner has a nostalgic, old-school vibe and is family-run. The owner, Dino, is also the cook, and his daughters are incredibly kind and welcoming. They are attentive to special dietary needs, including allergies. It does get quite busy, so planning your visit is essential, but the wait is definitely worth it. Everything is made with fresh ingredients, especially the Greek dishes, which are a highlight. The restaurant has a family-friendly atmosphere, and there's street parking available. It's also wheelchair accessible."

"Came with a friend for lunch and this was very obviously the best customer service either of us have seen in a very long time. The employees were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the service was unbelievably fast. Both our orders were ready before we even finished paying. As far as the food, it was good but not exceptional. Agree with other reviews that say the bbq sauce was unimpressive. Mac and cheese is most likely boxed, pretty flavorless. Stuffed baked potato was good, but it could be great with an improved sauce thicker, more flavorful, etc. I would come back here for the lovely staff before I crave their food again."

"Which are you looking for? Fun or BBQ? If you're about the fun? This place is great on game day, rooftop option with views, sectional couches around firepits. Servers are genuinely nice and efficient. If you're about the food?... it's not the best BBQ... The Brisket sliders presented well, but the meat chunks were dry, burned tough. Pulled pork, husband bit into a huge chunk of shoulder bone. Not good. Beers on tap had nice choices. So 5 stars for fun, 2 for food."

"Wow! Excellent first time experience. 5 star rating based on time of delivery, order accuracy and completeness, quantity paid for price, food quality. Delivered within the expected time frame, and got everything I ordered, including the extras I asked. Food was excellent and satisfying. My children enjoyed it and they don't like Chinese food, but I asked them to try a new place. We had chickens with Broccoli and Singapore Mei Fun (see pictures). They also give him 5 stars. Recommended!"

"Dined at Rosario’s for Easter Sunday with my family. They don’t let you sit until the entire party is there, which is pretty common we had a party of 13. We got sat immediately once everyone showed up. Server was pleasant, took a while for drinks but bread came out fast and fresh. She answered all questions we had and made recommendations. Menus were dirty and my goddaughter received a coloring paper that was already drawn on. My husband ordered the cream of crab which had to go back because it was cold. I ordered the lentil bean soup which was surprisingly pretty tasty! Our entrees came I enjoyed my meal, the “Sofia Chicken”. My husband ordered the broiled shrimp and received fried, and had to inconveniently wait for a new dish…again. A few people did not like their food, some comments include shrimp was overcooked, salmon was nasty, mussels were salty. At the end of the meal, I called over the manager to explain my disdain for my husbands items and I asked if he could do anything for us. He stated “let me see what I can do”. He’s grabbing dishes off the tables and then addresses my husband and states he should let the manager know at the time of the meal being wrong, not when everything is over. I felt that was totally unnecessary to say because the point is still that we had multiple inconveniences. He never came back to me after he told me “he was going to see what he could do” , and so I had to go to where he was. I expressed how I did not like how this situation was being handled and to sum it up, he used language from what my husband said and the fact that server brought us a piece of red velvet cake (which we did not ask for and we both don’t like) against me and said that doesn’t warrant a discount. So I walked away because again, didn’t like the way he was handling this. Unfortunately, My husband saw me irritated and went to talk to the manager. He had to go back over the situation and then the manager gave discount. Long story short WONT BE BACK"

"I’ve noticed that her husband seems a bit forgetful too. I had a little incident where I paid $18.75 for my food and drinks with a $20 bill, and she didn’t give me my second drink. When I pointed it out, she tried to charge me again, even though I had already paid for all of it. I did the math and asked her to explain, and it became a bit of an argument. Other customers were listening and agreed that it didn’t make sense since I never received the drink in the first place. It’s frustrating because I don’t appreciate being treated like I can’t count. I’ve decided that this will be my last visit. Once you argue with places like this, they tend to remember your face, and I can’t trust them with my food safety after that. If you do go, make sure to double-check your change because she might try to shortchange you if she thinks she can get away with it. I usually avoid spending more than $5 there, but I didn’t feel like cooking that night!"
