"I was so disappointed with my visit today. This is about the service and not the food. We come here allll the time. I 've probably been here 20 times because we love the food. I took my friend, who I haven 't seen in months, here for the first time. We were seated at 4:55pm. The server seemed annoyed and she was rushing us from the start even though it was early and they weren 't crowded whatsoever, but that wasn 't a big deal. We ended up figuring out our order somewhat quickly. Fast forward we finish eating and are just visiting and talking and finishing our drinks. Another girl brings the check and is like take your time. About 10 minutes goes by and we hadn 't paid yet because, again, we were catching up and told to take our time. So another guy comes up to us and picks up our check and hands it to us saying can you pay? We have a line of people waiting! I was honestly so caught off guard. Mind you it was 5:50pm at this point so we hadn 't even been there an hour!! I could totally understand if we were taking our sweet time, but that was not the case. None the less we pay and decide to leave since we were basically being kicked out. As we were waking out I looked and NOT A SINGLE PERSON was waiting to be seated. My friend was like oh ya I saw a couple groups waiting but they got sat. Anyway, it just rubbed us completely the wrong way and put a really sour taste in my mouth. Which is unfortunate because I love this restaurant but that was so incredibly rude. Not to mention I was excited to introduce my friend to this place and it was not a good first impression for her. Total bummer and just wanted to share my experience in the event management/the owner saw this and could coach the staff to not rush people out when they haven 't even been there an hour and no wait.."

"We had a wonderful first experience here! Shout out to our amazing server Devyn (sp? . She was super sweet and knowledgeable. She made our dining experience super fun! We started off with some cocktails and both were very good! I told Devyn I prefer sweet drinks but that I was interested in something strong and she had great recommendations! I ended up going with the Lychee cocktail because she told me it was one of the sweeter drinks where you don't really taste the alcohol. My husband ordered the old fashioned and he really liked it! We started off with the fried rice ball app and it was very good! I highly recommend this app if you are looking for something to start the meal with. For our main courses we started with the Forbidden roll. I almost wish we didn't start with this roll only because it was so darn good! I've been to the fish market in Japan and this was still the best sushi roll I've ever had in my life! The ingredients were incredible and everything was perfectly portioned. We ended up buying a second Forbidden roll because we knew nothing would come close. The Lion King Roll, to be fair, was also incredible. It just got overshadowed by the Forbidden roll. But, if you are ordering multiple rolls, I would also recommend the Lion King Roll! The shrimp on top was fresh and delicious and the sauce it was cooked in was just perfect. I would love to come back here again! The ambiance was amazing and honestly, the prices were absolutely reasonable. I've paid more at other sushi bars and the quality of fish was nowhere near the quality of fish at this location. Enjoy!"
