"My expectations were low, and somehow this place still managed to disappoint. I hate to tear down a small business, but this place is just bad. Everything here tastes like it comes out of the freezer and then goes directly into the microwave or a deep fryer. If you enjoy calamari, for the love of everything please do not order it here. The only thing worth eating was the seafood boil, which is offered with a choice of Cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper seasonings and four levels of spiciness. Those strong flavors successfully masked the low quality of the seafood. The best thing I can say about the food is that no one got sick afterwards, which I attribute to the fact that they serve nothing fresh or raw. If you can't order it in bulk from Sysco, this place ain't got it. Did I mention that the service was slow? The waitress didn't know the menu and disappeared after the orders were taken for so long I had to get up from the table and go find her to get water refills. The 2nd star is only because they were at least friendly and welcoming. The interior and atmosphere are shabby and cheap. The space used to be an Outback Steakhouse, and it still looks like one on the interior, only rode hard and hung up wet. Between the entrance and our table there were no fewer than four signs reminding us that an 18% gratuity was added for parties of six or more. One member of my party remarked that at least it didn't smell like seafood inside. A seafood restaurant that doesn't smell like seafood? I'll leave it to you to decide if that's a good thing or not."
