"I’m only giving 1 star for the grilled clams which was delicious. We went with 4 adults and 2 kids. For apps we ordered: Chicken nuggets for the kids I’ve had better frozen nuggets from target. Calamari edible but definitely not worth the price. It was clearly frozen and warmed up and just edible. grilled clams delicious oysters decentFor dinner we all ordered the boil and that’s when the entire dinner went south. It was DISGUSTING!!!! I don’t know what they were thinking…they boiled the seafood in plain tasteless water then dumped it in what looks like a dog food bowl and then poured disgusting sauce on top of it barely covering the food. This is not ok!!! And to make matters worse…the seafood had a fishy smell. None of us finished our boils which never happens AND none of us took it home. I asked the employee why the boil looks like that and their response was because a customer told them that it tastes better that way. They definitely should not have listened. And to make matters worse…the bill was insane for food we didn’t even eat/enjoy.I’ve been here a few years back and the boil was in a bag and the food was delicious. Now… I won’t be going back and will be reviewing in all apps so others don’t have to waste their money like we unfortunately had to. I don’t even have pictures to show because it was so disgusting."

"My expectations were low, and somehow this place still managed to disappoint. I hate to tear down a small business, but this place is just bad. Everything here tastes like it comes out of the freezer and then goes directly into the microwave or a deep fryer. If you enjoy calamari, for the love of everything please do not order it here. The only thing worth eating was the seafood boil, which is offered with a choice of Cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper seasonings and four levels of spiciness. Those strong flavors successfully masked the low quality of the seafood. The best thing I can say about the food is that no one got sick afterwards, which I attribute to the fact that they serve nothing fresh or raw. If you can't order it in bulk from Sysco, this place ain't got it. Did I mention that the service was slow? The waitress didn't know the menu and disappeared after the orders were taken for so long I had to get up from the table and go find her to get water refills. The 2nd star is only because they were at least friendly and welcoming. The interior and atmosphere are shabby and cheap. The space used to be an Outback Steakhouse, and it still looks like one on the interior, only rode hard and hung up wet. Between the entrance and our table there were no fewer than four signs reminding us that an 18% gratuity was added for parties of six or more. One member of my party remarked that at least it didn't smell like seafood inside. A seafood restaurant that doesn't smell like seafood? I'll leave it to you to decide if that's a good thing or not."

"So, I waited until I was no longer annoyed to post this review. We stopped by thus location to see if they could accommodate a large party (22 people). The nice young lady at the counter recognized it was a really large party and asked us to wait while she got her manager. The manager came out and said, no problem . They took my name and phone number, advised me of the 18% gratuity charged for large parties and we left. The day of the event we called to see if 4 more could be added to our party. We were told they could not accommodate (even at a nearby table) the addition to our party because they were full. No worries. We had a few cancelations so it all worked out. We arrived ON TIME to a practically empty restaurant. Part of me was excited because I knew the service would be quick. The other part was annoyed because they were obviously NOT full. The service was HORRIBLE! Here are some highlights:1. The manager sent over ONE waitress to serve us...20+ people....1 server.2. The MANAGER brought me a hot rum and Coke and thought I was irrational for asking for ice.3. Taking the drink order took an hour. An hour and a half after being seated We were STILL waiting for drinks.4. Food order took almost an hour to take. I had to tear paper off the table and take half of the orders MYSELF.5. The youngest member of our party was forgotten about. We ended up canceling his order. He got full on other people's French fries and the bowl of lemons the server put in front of him (I am not kidding).6. I asked the crowd of girls (doing nothing) at front desk if they would be available to help the 1 server. I was told that the manager would not assign us another server as to not have to split the gratuity. As an attempt to apologize, the server came over to the table with Crafty Crab paraphernalia...WHY would I market your business after that service?!At this point we collectively decided we were NOT giving them 18%. So, we paid in cash. When the server saw the discrepancy she went to get the manager who tried to say we HAD to pay the 18% and wanted to know what was wrong with the service (after we had complained ALL NIGHT). We respectfully advised him they weren't getting another dime out of us, made sure all the checks were paid and left.I WILL say the food was good. But for me, the service soured the experience. If the manager didn't have the bandwidth to service a large party he should have just said so. If you have a smaller party you may get better service. Large parties, go elsewhere or bring cash."

"I was dinning in tonight with my family. I love coming here to enjoy seafood. The restaurant was full and the music was loud which we did not mind because the environment is always fun and friendly. Our server was Tupac Shakur. He is always the best experience when we visit crafty crab. While we was ordering our food he couldn’t hear us so he leaned to the next table and asked a lady to borrow the chair so he could sit closer with us and take our order efficiently. He came back and continued to serve us. Out of nowhere a Mexican/white woman interrupted us and started cursing at him “why the f- did you take the chair” I was so taken aback by her actions. My family was confused when we looked back and saw that there was other chairs at her table. Shakur immediately apologized for their misunderstanding. She continued to publicly chastise him. All of the tables were looking at her scream at Shakur. He is always so nice to everyone I felt bad that he was being treated that way. They finally decided to leave because everyone was making snide remarks to her because of how rude she was. I can definitely tell she felt entitled. The older man she was dining with asked for a manager and shakur continued to apologize and serve everyone with a smile. I love how the situation was handled. Crafty crab does not need customers like that to ruin the experience for everyone else. Service was amazing."
