"Last minute, we had to cancel our downtown reservations due to the roads and the snow (missed the All-Star events)! I went with a new reservation at Prime 47 in Carmel, which is much closer to home. DRINKS: We started with the smoked Sazerac drink for three at the table, and the presentation was nice! I had an amazing glass of Caymus! APPETIZERS: We moved on to the appetizers with Calamari and the Waygu tacos. Those little tacos were filled with flavor! The Calamari has red bell pepper and the presentation and taste were great. ENTREE: We then moved on to dinner. Tableside preparation of the steak with the Farbuckle filet, two had the Delmonico Ribeyes, and one was celebrating Lent, so went with the Salmon. Overall, no one had a single complaint. The steaks were cooked wonderfully, and my ribeye was filled with flavor. I did get it Oscar style and it took away from the meat flavor adding on the crab, but nothing to do with the restaurant, just my preference for the future. DESSERT: I moved on to dessert, and I did remember to get some pictures of that! The brown butter cake was to die for! The cookie comes out piping hot and the carrot cake is so moist! We saw the cotton candy appetizer go by and it was fun to watch. Sorry, I did not get a picture of it! Blinking lights and at last 3 feet tall! SERVICE: We had a great night, and the manager kept checking on the table, and we felt like royalty even with the restaurant full. Our waiter was fun and attentive. The only thing that went wrong was no appetizer plates for sharing. We just passed around the serving plates and went without!"

"I treated my husband and brother to lunch yesterday and every part of it was delightful. We were greeted right away by the busy woman behind the pastry counter, then seated at a perfect table by Tony, our server. We settled in with hot bread and delicious mimosas, then had a perfect lunch. The variety on the menu is exceptional from bakery and breakfast items, to flaky and yummy chicken pot pie and perfectly grilled flatiron steak. Tony checked in with us at all the right times and was so pleasant and efficient. Great food, great service what’s not to love? Merci!"

"I went there for brunch around 11 am and it was not packed at all, didn't seem like I actually needed to make a reservation (note: it did start to get more packed later on closer to 12-12::30 pm). The ciabatta bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was amazing! Was very excited for the 3 for 1 drink special but then quickly disappointed because they ran out of champagne and prosecco within 20-30 minutes of me being there. Not cool :"

"2022.06 19/SUN_noon: Food server/Nessa Our experience was excellent from the time we went to the time we went. The staff was unbelievable and I love their uniforms. What I loved in this place was the ambience. It was really a great feeling on foot and the excellent hospitality. Nessa was absolutely fabulous! She had really great suggestions! She was dead! I felt like I was back home in one of my favorite location things. That would be my favorite place for sports, because for every corner of the restaurant there was a TV you can see! We can't wait until we get back. It will be on the agenda every time we visit Grandma! We took Grandma! She even ordered a Painkiller cocktail (proposed by our beautiful, no Rockin' server) that was really a doozy! We started with the Hive House Disco Frittes. This is a bunch of frits, roasted cheese curds, bacon crumbs, parmesan cheese with Sriacha Aioli. Holy Moly, it was delicious. The cheese did it for me! Flame explosion! Just great comfort food. We ordered the chicken sandwich, the fish and chips and the Cheezilla Burger. Each duck has been carefully assembled and presented. The portions are great! Everything was piled up. You have leftovers when you order an appetizer! You must be hungry! The Entrees are inexplicable! You should see my photos. All the ducks were just beautiful. They were delicious. The fish chips were fantastic. I swear they took all the fish out! So juicy and juicy with not much bread. It wasn't fat and dense! Looks foolish! It was light on the belly. What your socks will knock off is the malt vinegar-based diving sauce and I LOVE that it's the chips with malt vinegar, that's my favorite touch that has been added to the whole duck. But the white malt vinegar house diving sauce will pack that awesome **** and it compliments the fish! Wowsers! The Cheezilla Burger was another favorite! The burger was very juicy. What you will get is the presentation. It is served with roasted cheese! You heard me right! It had a blanket of fried cheese on it!! It was absolutely delicious. As I said, it's super juicy!! If you are looking for a place to wind after work or take the family for dinner for some good scare, and be surrounded by awesome people, this is the place to be! "Not sure how but the original had no taste and very tough! Out of three orders two meatballs sauce or meatball was cold. Buffalo turkey was just disgusting and off taste. Two of our three orders were wrong meatballsauce! Wait staff did as good as they could. Most likely short staff due to COVID so staff had to work inside and outside they were busy and non stop and had nonissue with them. Delayed drink refills but wasn’t upset on that only that the manager was standing around doing nothing and could have helped the staff with busing and drinks"

"I went to this restaurant for dinner on a Wednesday with friends who were visiting from the UK. It was by far the best experience I have had here. It was quite busy, but we were seated right away because we had made a reservation. The waitress was very friendly, efficient, and talkative. I ordered the Whitefish, which came with risotto and lemon butter sauce, and it was absolutely fantastic! The rest of my friends either had the Canadian Walleye or the Pork Chop, and they all loved their meals and were very impressed. It's a great place with a wonderful atmosphere for a meal. We definitely plan on coming back soon!"

"Bottom line:Extensive cocktail menu, small bites to share, as well as a full dinner menu, and indoor-outdoor setting make a great happy hour spot. Dog-friendly patio. Brunch seems to be a major attraction, as well.Details:We missed lunch after a long day at the zoo, so popped in at Uptown Tavern for an early happy hour and bites to eat. We had the Sutter Smash (delicious), and the Xocoveza from Stone Brewing. Our food took a little while, but we had fun people watching and nursing our drinks. The veggie sliders (beet patties with goat cheese) and fries were excellent, and I'd definitely order again. The 5-spice wings were a bit of a miss for me. I was hoping they'd be more spice-forward, but the Mister thought they were fine. Weirdly, they were served with pickled ginger, which didn't compliment the flavor, but it was easily picked off. I'd stick to the traditional buffalo wings. The rest of the menu looked promising, but we didn't want to spoil our dinner reservations for later in the night. Note that street parking is very limited, so allow for time to circle around if you're meeting friends. Overall, worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!"

"**Pros:** The food was mostly good, the ambiance was lovely, the restrooms were clean, and the servers were kind and friendly. **Cons:** The biggest drawback that led us to give a 3-star rating was the long wait. We had an 8:15 reservation and arrived at 8:10 but weren’t seated until 8:50 PM. It was quite cold outside, and there was no designated area to wait indoors, so we ended up awkwardly huddling with other groups in corners, trying to stay out of the way of the servers. Our first appetizer didn’t arrive until 9:30 PM, which was an hour and 15 minutes after our reservation time, and we finished our meal and left at 10:30 PM. While the servers were busy yet attentive, it seemed like the kitchen was the root of the delay. I noted that the food was "mostly" good because my husband’s steak frites were not very impressive, but everything else I tried—including the crab cake beignet, heirloom salad, and duck—was quite good. The restaurant week menu offered a good value for our meal. We had hoped for a better experience, as we really wanted to enjoy this restaurant. However, the lengthy and uncomfortable wait definitely put a damper on our evening."

"Cheese is the primary focus for this lively, reasonably priced local restaurant, so best avoided if you are on a diet! We had pasta, short ribs, some sides and cheese and it was all really good. Service was quick and friendly. The beer and wine selection is good with several wines available by the glass."
