"We ordered takeout on a Monday night, choosing the lobster roll, the chicken sandwich special, a cobb salad, and a few desserts. We were told it would take 20-25 minutes. However, an entire hour later, my partner had to wait in the lobby for 50 minutes before the bag finally came out of the kitchen, completely sealed with a staple. When we got home, we found that several items were missing: there was no salad dressing, no ice cream, and no fresh whipped cream as advertised for the desserts. The only item that was warm was the lobster; the French fries were cold, hard, and stale, with one of them being completely raw. How does that even happen? Was my order dropped and then picked up off the floor? It’s alarming how you could have one raw fry mixed in with the cold, stale ones. The chicken sandwich was barely palatable, featuring cold, congealed cheese on top of rubbery fried chicken that tasted like it had been overcooked and stored in the refrigerator since Saturday. The arugula was stale and yellowed. If there were supposed to be onions on it as claimed, I certainly couldn’t find any, and the entire sandwich was stone cold—considerably colder than room temperature. Given we waited an hour, we expected everything to come out of the kitchen hot and fresh! The manager did apologize, explaining they got really busy and that it happens. She promised to refund our $80 bill. After looking at previous reviews, I see we’re not the first to complain about the chicken resembling a hockey puck! I've had much better fast food chicken at highway rest stops than this. We've enjoyed good food from Conrad's in the past, but it would be wise for them to implement some quality control before handing over takeout orders. Clearly, they lack operational standards when they get busy."

"This was not our first visit. We did take out. They do seafood well, but we haven't tried everything. Lisa says the clams in the linguini and red clam sauce were huge and delicious. I love their fish, all the dishes are good. Sadly, on this last visit the fried clams were either over done or cooked in oil that needed to be changed. Since the name of the joint is the clam bar, that was disappointing. Lisa got the golden combo and it was all perfect, except for the clams, of course. Oh, except she wondered about the fish portion of the combo it seemed like someone took a regular piece of fish and ripped it in half. Strange. I got the fried haddock with onion rings and it was awesome. The fish is so light and flaky and the batter is crispy and delicious. Another minus on this visit was the delivery of incorrect salad dressing and no lemon included or offered. Not the end of the world of course, since we were at home, but if we were in a hotel that would have been a drag. They were kind enough to provide napkins and plastic forks and knives, and they tartar and cocktail sauce was more than adequate for the amount of food served. We paid $51 for 2 entrees and a kids meal, which is a good value for what we got, and would have been a great value (no offense Walmart) had the fried clams been done right. There is plenty of parking and it's in a fairly busy area, right near sweetheart corners. The bartender was friendly."
