"This place was a dinner pick on our trip to Holiday Valley. It's two levels downstairs is fancy pizza and apps. The upstairs is a noodle bar. We ate downstairs. That floor is sort of minimalist in design and came across sort of cold and bland. A day, we ordered some salads/apps and two pizza. I thought the crust on the pizza was nice, but I didn't really love the sauce or toppings. I was alone in that, I think. My companions thought both pizzas were really good. Where they lost me was the service. We felt really rushed. The food came out so fast with no real separation in the courses. The apps came before the drinks and then the entrees came only a few minutes later. We all thought the timing was bizarre and off putting."

"We went here earlier today for lunch and everything was absolutely perfect! The ladies that worked there gave our kids a full box of crayons and two brand new coloring books to entertain them while waiting for food. And the kids just loved it! Food was fast and so so good! Staff was super friendly and attentive. And very fair prices. Would highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again! Thank you so much. "we have died here at least 8 times in the last 3 years. always excellent, service, eating and atmosphere. unfortunately they fell this time the ball. the service was very slow. no brot was made for 45 minutes because they waited for fresh bread to bake. When it arrived, it was not completely boiled. very doughy dinner lasted about 1 hour after the order arrive. there was no reason to work slowly. Eating came and was the greatest part good. the pizza was boiled and teigy. the pasta that accompanied the huh parmesan was cold. 3 times with the manager. he finally arrived with a huge piece of cake on a dish. I talked to him about my thinking and he immediately said, "I will compose the whole evening meal," he just went away. the server came around a minute later and said: "Tent dinner is with a nice evening " and went away. funny I just tried to offer my criticism at a restaurant that I enjoy very much. I didn't look for free dinner. by manager and server very bad and unprofessional handed over. Perhaps they need to remember that customers who are complaining or offering criticism really want to come back and want their business to be successful."

"Stopped in on a rainy a Friday night. Great atmosphere and location right in the heart of Ellicottville. We were hoping to enjoy the patio, but the weather prevented it. We ordered drinks, appetizers and dinner. The EBC blueberry is outstanding.Easy to drink and served with blueberries. The pretzel for an app was really good. The pulled pork was disappointing. Withthe BBQ sauce was good to very good, but most of it didn't have any sauce and without it, it was moist but bland. We have hadgood food previously, so it may have been an off night. Service was slow throughout the evening, often having to get out of ourseat to find our waitress, who disappeared for 15 minutes at a time. It was not overly busy either. Servers at adjacent tableswere not helpful as it was not their area. Plates were not cleaned when meals were finished etc. We will return and hope it'simproved next time! This time it truly missed the mark for us."
