"FOREST HILL GRILL is worth the drive! My wife and I eat out a lot. Not much eating in recently because of covid19, however we often place orders in advance and pick up curbside. We happened to be in the area yesterday and decided to give it a try. Their reviews were encouraging. Even though we do not live near this restaurant, we will now become regulars! We both ordered from the Basket menu. My wife 's favorite dish anywhere is fried shrimp. I ordered the chicken basket. The chicken tenders were as good as, actually maybe better, than Zaxby 's and Abner 's. I 'm not a big french fries eater but probably enjoyed them more than the tenders. How they 're cut and cooked is different from fries we 've had from any other restaurant. My wife usually shares her dinner with me. Not last night! : I 'm guessing it will be her new go to place for fried shrimp. The service was also great from calling in the order to the pickup. It 's rare that we take time to post restaurant reviews. If you 're reading this and trying to decide where to eat, you should stop your search and go see for yourself."

"Worst restaurant experience of my life! Visited the location on 9/25 around 1:30pm with a colleague. Informed the waiter that we were waiting for a third. It took a ridiculous amount of time to first be served water, cleaning products were left at the table, we had to ask a number of times for a menu, we were never asked if we wanted anything other than water or if we wanted to order appetizers while we waited. We then waited a ridiculous amount of time to put our order in...to the point where we saw people who 'd come in at the same time as our third actually being served. When I finally got the waiters attention and tried to explain our aggravation his response was I already know how this is going to go and y 'all should just leave . We did just that! Never got his name but he knows who he is and he should NOT be in the service industry. PERIOD."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the menu offers a fantastic variety of choices along with a wide selection of beers. We visited twice during our 4-day stay in town. On our first visit, we tried the Seared Ahi and the Seared Ahi Sammie, and on our second visit, we enjoyed the Salmon Caesar Salad (the salmon was cooked to perfection) and a delicious brisket Sammie. "We stopped here for dinner while passing through on a trip. Our party of two adults and two kids spent around $57, which felt reasonable for a meal out. My husband really enjoyed the brisket sandwich, and I liked the crab dip fries, although I thought the cheese topping was a bit too thick and unnecessary—the crab dip really steals the show. "This is one of the few places in town still open for the season, so by the time we arrived for a late lunch, we would have settled for anything—even toasted cardboard! What a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The hot crab dip appetizer was absolutely delicious. My husband, a wing enthusiast, didn’t find the wings particularly impressive. However, he adored the parmesan truffle fries and wished he had opted for those along with two Sutton lobster rolls—until he saw the bill, but hey, it’s vacation! I ordered the fish and chips with rosemary fries, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I usually don’t like tartar sauce, but theirs had a wonderful dill flavor that really complemented the meal. I washed it down with a draft Allagash White. I would definitely return and order the same meal again."

"I first visited Local on the Water with my family, and we had so much fun we never wanted to leave! I loved it so much, I went back on my solo trip, and even took my friends on my most recent trip there. The bands have been phenomenal every time I’ve been, the food and service are great, and the ambiance both outside and inside is incomparable. There are several bars so even if you have to wait for a table you can grab a drink and enjoy the band, and when the sun starts to go down, you wish you could just freeze time it’s so beautiful. I will come here every time I’m in Myrtle Beach and am already counting down the days until I get to go back!"

"We are new to town and was wandering around downtown running some errands and saw this cute joint. We thought it looked like a cute little pub that probably had average food but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were cool and attentive, the music was nice, the vibe was great and the food was exceptional. We got Salmon Burgers and Seasoned Curly Fries and it was amazing. They even served the fries crispy and they weren’t all coated in grease or oil. 10/10 would recommend."

"This laid-back spot is connected to a hotel and always has a few regulars hanging around. They play music from the jukebox, serve delicious chicken wings and standard bar food, and offer a nice variety of beers. I would love to see more craft beer options, especially higher ABV IPAs and stouts, but those can be hard to come by in Greensboro. They do have a solid selection of whiskeys and even host a bourbon/whiskey club where you can sample select whiskeys and get your name on a plaque. The jukebox usually plays hip-hop, and the TVs are often tuned to sports. This place is relaxed and one of the few in the area with a kitchen that stays open late."

"My mother-in-law was craving seafood and we found this place downtown we has two children under the age of 18 and were a little leary of taking them in because it looks like a bar but we're pleasantly surprised. The waitresses was wonderful with the youngest who changed his mind 3x and ate what his mother ordered. The food portions were quite large but delicious my only qualm is that I didn't ask about the market price of the crab legs my mother-in-law said she couldn't decide between and really wanted to try so I ordered them maybe mention it when someone says they want them ... expensive for the quantity you get."

"We have been often for the view of the Bay, Food was ok this time, my husband had a crab cake I had the oysters, all part of Restaurant week on the Island. We had either the salad which was fresh and very good, Husband had the soup which he loves this time not so much, we both had baked potatoes for our side very over cooked and dry. Oysters were ok, crab cake not the best on the Island. I must say most customers had trays of crabs so that seems what we should have done and not tried the Restaurant week menu. We had a bottle of ok wine but mark up was a little extreme for the bottle that usually sells for much less. Service was very good considering the Restaurant was packed with patron. We will go back but not for Restaurant week because the menu was limited and we really did not get a good representation of their menu at least not with our meals. Dessert was a piece of cake with rum sauce that was not worth the calories."

"whoa. Yellowtail tasted far too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. "The prices are very high. It was $25 for a plate. This does include soup/salad and a side. However, for the quality, it isnt worth the price. The staff was very friendly. The reason for such a low rating was the food. It tasted like nothing. I ordered the broiled fish. There was no salt, pepper, nothing. It was flavorless. Honestly, it was almost like they took the shrimp, scallops. And fish out of a frozen bag and cooked it through. I was very dissappointed. The chicken alfredo was also $25. And it was only okay. The kids meals seemed fine. I had a bite if my sons fried chicken tenders and that had a lot of flavor. This being said, if they fry their fish like they do their chicken then the food may be very good. But broiled.... unfortunately was a turn off. Update: it is important to make healthier options tasty. Broiled does not mean frozen flavorless fish. Due to my gallbladder i am unable to eat fried foods. The other food on the menu should be tasty as well for that price point."

"Found the yam looking for a place to eat after taking my mom to the eye doctor and what a pleasant surprise! Great food at decent prices the best I’ve had since living in the DM(V) with the customer service to match! "Have had good dining experiences at Dewey Destin's on numerous occasions in the past . . but was disappointed on my most recent visit. I had bragged on this place and took an out-of-town coworker for a nice seafood dinner. Unfortunately, the food was a big disappointment. Gumbo was bland. Scallops were coated with a thick, crunchy breading with a small morsel of dry, overcooked meat inside. Fish was tough and chewy . . again, overcooked. Hushpuppies were overcooked and dry. The Shrimp and Cole Slaw was good. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job. The experience of the cook in the kitchen needs to be addressed. If you are going to specialize in seafood . . you need a cook that knows how to prepare it properly. There are too many other good seafood restaurants in Destin, FL."
