"Attempted to order drinks and appetizers, however, the waitress would only take the drink orders. Later she took the appetizer order and it took forever to get delivered. When they do deliver it, it's pretty sparse looking. See for yourself in the picture below versus their own menu. They did replace the nachos but only after we got our main course so it seemed wasteful (specifically asked about replacement vs meal delivery, preferred dessert due to timing). However, I was still charged for nachos. In fact, two orders of them. The manager who I spoke with (Mike) said he would take care of the cost of the nachos and dessert (since no replacement). While he did give credit for dessert, he didn't do anything on the nachos AND double charged me. Cost more than the dessert credit! I brought it to the attention of the waitress who seemed annoyed. While they made all the credits at the end, it's only after I brought it to their attention again. I only saw Mike one time at the initial complaint. No follow up. No I'm sorry that I double charged you nothing. While the main course was delicious, the service leaves me starving for more."

"We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation on accident. Even though we arrived early than excepted the host made sure that our party received the next available table. Our waiter Alex was very attentive and personable. The floor manger Hector personally came to our table, once he discovered one of our dishes was missing. He accommodated us and apologize. He noticed this problem before we realized it! Overall great and impressive service!"

"Our server recommended the ribeye steak. It was leather, honestly. I should have known to expect the worst as evidenced by the Cesar salad that came before it. Old lettuce, over dressed and obviously made hours prior. My husband had a fried chicken sandwich with a wacky name. He said Jack-in-the-Box makes better. Everything was sub-par. Why didn’t we complain, you ask? This is the kind of busy big chain where complaining wouldn’t change anything for future customers and all we wanted to do was go home. Our dog, on the other hand sure loves the place since he got a leathery piece of “beef” to eat!"

"Highly disappointed. Service was decent, food was terrible. Appetizers came out cold and tasted stale. I ordered the bj’s bowl with salmon, every ingredient tasted microwaved and the salmon was cold and stiff and dry, definitely over cooked. Salmon also smelled really bad. My husband ordered the brussel sprouts, they were dry with no flavor. He also ordered the flatbread pizza and the bottom was burnt and the pizza was cold. Everything seemed microwaved. The waitress was so busy, we sat with empty cups for 30 minutes. We are not new to BJ’s but we have never had such a bad experience there before. "bijan’s is one of the only late evening dining places in the opposite. at the arrival I let the host know that I used open table, but he didn't check me in or confirm, just led me to a table. I asked him to formally check me in, and he said he would, but he continued to sit down others. Someday I asked another host who immediately checked in and said I would get my open table points. he was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was not only delicious, but so big that I took the rest of the house. my related had the chicken potcake (written as tasty, but vaccinated on the chicken,) and the chicken cake (the diligent was burned and had no taste, but the chicken was moist and tasty). we just wanted water so I can't get the drinks. our server was pleasant and efficient."

"After being stuck at home for months, I was really disappointed by the rude hosts and waiters at this restaurant. The last thing I needed was their attitude. Unfortunately, my country chicken sandwich was bland compared to the usual delicious sandwiches I have had at other BJ's restaurants. The portion size was also smaller. I only took a few bites before giving up. The waiter saw this but did not say anything. I was not eager to return to this place. My experience at the Burbank BJ's location was much better."

"Been here a bunch of times! The wings and ribs are always top notch! Saturday ordered delivery in which this retailer uses a third party delivery like many do! Ordered at 530pm was supposed to be delivered around 6. 6:30 rolled around and reached out to the doordash driver who was listed on my link, she had no clue what I was talking about. Understanding , this is a delivery issues and not a retail issue I reached out to BJ's and I was placed on the phone with Ashura , the manager on duty. She was so sweet and understanding, I really was frustrated, but she was calm and wanted to assure that I got whatever I needed. Her calmness , calmed me and she was willing to make this situation although not their fault right. She wanted to make sure that I felt better about the situation as far as the things she was able to control. It was a busy Saturday night, I really appreciated her in that moment. This is NJ we take good customer service for granted as if attitude is out second language, but I really wanted to Thank Ashura for being so attentive and kind. I'll definitely be back. Thank you!!"

"Saturday night, 1 hour wait to be seated, which was fine. They weren't very busy but we assumed they were short staffed. We waited at the bar for drinks and apps. 2 bartenders, and neither one was attentive. Got our apps, no silverware. Annoying, but okay. They did not check on us at all after. Got our table, ordered, and food took over an hour to come out. Had to wait for silverware again. My steak was way undercooked, potatoes and broccoli cold. Shrimp scampi was hot and was good. My husband got chicken parm. Chicken was good, spaghetti was dry and could tell was in the window for a while. Our server was also not very attentive, never even asked about drink refills. Chocolate chunk pizookie was good. Overall, staff was very inattentive and did not seem to care. Several tables were dirty, had they been cleaned and dishes brought back, silverware could've been washed and handed out to customers instead of the plastic cutlery for take out order that they started passing out. "We had a party of nine and is often difficult to get good service, food out quickly and warm. BJ's did a great job on all. "One rack of ribs had a completely different bite/pull to it than another plate, one was tender one could hardly pull off the bone, both were burnt on the outside. (BBQ sauce was not good but admittedly that could just be our taste, which is one of the reasons why not giving a one star, still though, a better sauce wouldn't have saved it. Everything except the nachos were cold. (Everything came out at the same time, so we think they made the food, realized the appetizer wasn't served yet, so just left it on the counter while those were made, then served all at once. The nachos were not bad, but they were certainly overcooked. Everything came out at the same time so no chance to attempt to enjoy the appetizer. Made a comment and server said they tried to stagger everything for us, and that was that.Service was poor, no refills though asked (even asked another waiter that was not ours , forgot to bring side item then brought out later. (They were new though so hard to fault, we understand. Think they were training two different people that day. "I stopped by Mona Lisa Bakery last week while I was in the Dyker Heights area. I noticed the facade of the bakery first, think very old school Italian. The inside is pretty much the same with the wall lined cases of baked goods. The woman behind the counter greeted me right away. I ordered a regular cannoli $3], it was delicious. The shell was fresh and crunchy. The cannoli cream was thick and sweet. Overall it was a good size, though I definitely could have gone to town on a bigger one. I didn't try any of of the other pastries or cookies. Despite other reviews, I think I would the next time in the area."

"I generally have a high tolerance for issues at restaurants, but I was quite frustrated with my experience at BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse. It took 10 minutes to make an espresso martini that was made from a mix in a can, and this happened not once but twice. The bartender never checked on how our food was, and when we ordered dessert, she took it away without asking if we were finished. The bartender seemed bothered by our presence throughout our meal, making us feel like an inconvenience. However, the service improved when it came time to pay the bill."

"We have visited 2 different locations in the last week and realized both were very slow with service. Nothing to do with our waitress or waiter. Kitchen staff seems to be lacking. Took 45 minutes to hour for food to get to the table. Our visit at both location was for 2 hours sitting and waiting for our drinks, food and their famous Pazookies. If you have time it’s a nice place to visit."

"For a brew house style restaurants my experience was mediocre at best. It was not particularly crowded but the service both for my server and the kitchen was very slow. I ordered the jambalaya which was good except that they put it over rice pilaf instead of wild rice as would be traditional. I got a tomato and mozzarella salad . I was expecting wedges of tomato wedges of mozzarella but instead had overripe tomatoes and little tiny grape size balls of mozzarella. The balsamic vinaigrette was very good. My friend got the prime rib which was cooked perfectly but the meal came with no bread. Both meals were basically $35 one big bowl of rice and the other was one plate with a large prime rib mashed potatoes and a vegetable but the same price. As I said , pretty mediocre not worth the money at all, I guess the management believes that being on Hall Road makes the place fancy."
