"I stopped by Mona Lisa Bakery last week while I was in the Dyker Heights area. I noticed the facade of the bakery first, think very old school Italian. The inside is pretty much the same with the wall lined cases of baked goods. The woman behind the counter greeted me right away. I ordered a regular cannoli $3], it was delicious. The shell was fresh and crunchy. The cannoli cream was thick and sweet. Overall it was a good size, though I definitely could have gone to town on a bigger one. I didn't try any of of the other pastries or cookies. Despite other reviews, I think I would the next time in the area."

The service is attentive and quick. I'm giving it 4 stars because some of the cookies were fresher than others.

The twisted bread is absolutely divine—it's worth going out of your way for! Simply amazing. Be sure to get it first thing in the morning.

I visited this charming little bakery over the weekend after seeing some great recommendations on Facebook. It offers a wide variety of options, and the staff are both friendly and quick. The cannoli and cookies I tried were quite tasty. I’ll definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. I've heard that their bread is exceptional too!

I visited a lovely bakery recently and bought a pumpkin pie that was absolutely delicious! They offer a wide variety of wonderful baked goods. When I stepped inside the bakery, I had a hard time deciding what to choose. I believe they make a different pie every day, so if you're looking for a specific type, I recommend calling ahead to find out when it will be available. That's all for now. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and stay safe!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
