"Not if you practice social distancing. On our last visit, we ordered by phone, a common practice since they re-opened during the pandemic. Our orders usually take 10-15 minutes, which they're transparent about on the phone before we hang up and head out to get our food. This time, we arrived but had to wait for our food. We were told 5 minutes but it took closer to 15 minutes as if we hadn't ordered by phone at all. Having already asked to add a tip to our bill before being told about the delay created a situation in which we'd have to ask for the tip back. But seeing how there were times when I know I've asked them to add a tip to our bill but saw in the final sale (in my bank account because we almost never use cash to pay or to tip that the tip wasn't added or that only a small fraction of what I offered was added to the bill, we figured that there was NO WAY they'd take the tip this time because, unlike the times they didn't take the tip or didn't even take half of what we offered as a tip, they didn't deserve the tip this time. Way, dude. They TOTALLY took the whole tip we offered them To Insure Prompt Service (T.I.P.S. . That's as tacky as us asking for the tip back after learning we'd have to wait, right? Well, for us it was. Then there were people in there who weren't practicing social distancing like that which we're used to when going to the downtown post office. There were three other people in the small dining/pickup area wearing masks, but there wasn't six feet of separation between customers (and I seriously don't think even three people could form a line without it going outside if the six-feet of separation rule were enforced here. But there's no doubt that we'd stand in the rain or snow for this food if we hadn't ordered ahead of time . And then one guy's mask wasn't covering his nostrils. Seven months into the pandemic makes it pretty easy to find credible info proving that you can wear up to five layers of different kinds of good masks without there being a change in the oxygen levels your body needs (There's one vid with healthcare professionals, who have non-COVID-19 related respiratory problems, layering on the masks and testing their oxygen levels with a machine to show that they too can get enough oxygen while wearing several masks covering their mouths and nostrils to help themselves and those around them keep safe . So that happened during our near-15-minute wait. So, needless to say, we were pretty disappointed about our last visit. And with third-party food delivery services being hit-or-miss around here, we've never tried them with KFC because walking's always been quicker. I mean, the food's so good here that our last meal here made up for nearly all of the above, but still. COVID-19 is real. Guess it's time to get that air fryer. Later, guys. Stay safe."
