"I can't believe I haven't dimmed with hayes until today. I was glad to support a family restaurant that has served great smash burger since 1955. the first thing they notice outside the restaurant is the sign that this is a cashless device. happy for me I was ready to eat. when they come in, it reminded me of the thema town. an intimate, classic diner with some opposed stools and some small tables. fortunately there was a space at the switch right at the burgergrill. After a quick look at the menus at the walls I was ready to order a double-burger, fries and a medium soda. the beauty of a place like this is the food served directly at the grill. no wait under a heat lamp. hot and juicy. and the fried tweepers were the best part of the burger. about the friendly people who work here, the prices are so affordable. I can't expect to come back. next time I'm coming to the breakfast!"

Perfect flat flat top burgers. Fries and onion rings were fantastic. Tip: order 2 at a time!

Great hidden gem. Great prices on diner style food whose proportions are just perfect for not wasting food. Big selection for a small joint. Crushed ice was a plus! View menu

The BEST sliders in the north, along with fantastic service! I ordered 20 sliders and was treated with the same warmth as in the good old days when I used to call and pay upon pick-up. Most places require payment over the phone, which can be quite a hassle. Thanks, Hayes!

Based on other reviews, I'm confident that the food is good. However, I had to remove a star due to the inconvenience of them only accepting cash, as many people nowadays don't carry cash. Additionally, they are closed on Sundays, even though Google Maps indicates otherwise.

This restaurant offers excellent prices, especially given the current economic climate. The service is outstanding, and the food is delicious. The cozy atmosphere, created by the narrow space with a countertop grill, adds to the experience. Additionally, the air conditioning and ventilation are impressively effective. View menu

What a fantastic little burger joint! And when I say little, I really mean it. The food was outstanding—definitely the crispiest onion rings I've ever tasted, and the burgers were perfectly cooked and delicious. My son compared the fries and said they were just like McDonald's, which is the highest compliment he could give. It's a cash-only place, but the prices are reasonable for that, and there's an ATM located behind the building for convenience.

This charming little diner has been serving up delicious food since the 1950s. It's famous for its late-night smash burgers, which are just as delightful at any hour of the day. Everything is made to order and prepared fresh. The seating is limited but cozy, making it a warm spot to enjoy a meal. Plus, they have the best ice around! It's a fun place for a late-night snack or an early morning bite. Visiting this diner brings back a wave of nostalgia from childhood.

"We visited the Majestic 5-12-19. Party of 20. Our reservation wasn't ready for 30 long minutes my guests stood and waited- they did give two free appetizer trays for that. The Salmon meal had a HAIR in it, and when we told our waiter he said “ and?” I raised my voice and said theres a 4” hair in my mothers food.... THEN he got her a new plate like it was an inconvenience. THE FOOD was dry, bland and worse than chick filet ..... The salmon was dry and tasteless with a gross sauce on top that wasn’t delectable..The Pasta Tray for $30 was .20 cent of shell pasta under cooked with three tiny cubes of tomato and rotten chards in cheese sauce. Culturally this party was a mix of country people, high class and middle class. They all said the food was absolutely terrible. We spent $800 expecting a treat for these people that came from far away to celebrate my daughters graduation. Most of our food was left uneaten. In addition the down stairs was a great place for my party and it was “ unavailable “ though not used whilst we were there. The way the seats were situated most of our party could not see each other, next time I will search for a place where we can sit to accommodate everyone to visit joke etc.. I did visit the “Affair” a German restaurant.... best food I have ever had! Thats where we should’ve went. And to think they forced 35% gratuity on us..... sickening. Oh and we have several pianist in our group and their piano bar player was not even playing music.... He was just banging away like a 5 yr old. Lol. Comical. I’m sorry Majestic : it’s 1 star for me."
