"Fabulous food and excellent service so lovely to spend the day! I will come back soon for sure. The pea soup was out of this world, my friend’s mushroom barley soup was equally scrumptious and the falafel and pita sandwiches were extraordinary. Mine was extra spicy, my friend’s regular. Both were amazing especially when combined with coleslaw and pickle and dressings on the side. This was the most superb vegetarian luncheon for the two of us. You’ve got to go to Mendy’s 2.0 in person or online or on Goldbelly as soon as you read this review."

"This restaurant is fantastic—it's so much more than just a café! Almost the entire menu is gluten-free, and their gluten-free pizza is exceptional. The carrot ginger soup is incredible, and the pasta with stir-fried vegetables, including portobello mushrooms and baby spinach, is delightful. The chef is accommodating and prepares dishes to your liking, and he truly knows how to cook!"

"I haven't been to Max's in years but had to take someone to the airport and thought this would be a perfect place. Upon entering, I noticed there weren't that many people in there on a Sunday around noon there was an unpleasant smell to the restaurant. When we sat down at our table, the menus were sticky. I can't stand that. It makes me feel like the place is unclean. I ordered a 1/2 pastrami sandwich and green salad. The salad was overdressed and had so many different things in it, I didn't really like it. The sandwich is what I always remember about Max's; delicious pastrami w/lots of flavor. This was pretty bland. My guests ordered sandwiches as well and it was OK, nothing special. Very disappointing."

We ordered sweet and sour chicken along with pork and chicken chow mein, and everything arrived hot and securely packaged. All the dishes were flavorful and satisfying, with generous portions! "After arriving early for my lunch reservation I was told my guest and I would only have to wait a few minutes as”they were just finishing up outside. We waited 1/2 hr. and checked with the receptionist who told us it would be a little longer. I said that we wanted to sit outside and she said that on my online reservation I had failed to check the patio box. We waited longer only to be seated squeezed in next to the fireplace at the smallest table. I sat across from my partner in the aisle chair. Overall it was not a positive experience for me or my guest whose birthday I brought her there to celebrate."

There's a full service, in-house bakery. The rye is not to be believed. The booths are tight, but comfortable. Service from the professional team is knowledgeable and efficient. "We probably order from this restaurant more often than I care to admit, but the food is always fresh. The prices are on the higher side, but considering the quality and variety of fresh ingredients, I can't complain. "that was my first time in this restaurant and it will be my last. on time for a 6:45 reservation. I waited for 45 minutes with my older grandmother and three children for our reso-, as I saw her after the table before us on the table. we finally sat (after we had to talk to the manager) and ordered to eat and drink. the waitress was great and eating was very good. assumed the start to the meal was an anomaly and we were all enjoying. fast before dessert. we ordered a cake for my 5 year old birthday. they seemed to do a really nice sparkling song for the bdays and so we were thrilled to celebrate. 30 minutes later we wait for the dessert. at this point the children have enough, the good mood is over, and everyone is waiting for the dessert. the waitress was very nice- said the kitchen was just upright and that it wasn't her fault. we understood, but at this point just wanted to go. we asked about the bill and the waitress finally brought the cake, but the radio who sings birthday was missing - extremely disappointing. the bill paid, never a pie. I asked for the withdrawal of container, never had a bag to put them in. a very disappointing experience that ends. it is clear that this restaurant runs very badly and we will not return."

"Absolutely terrible!!!! I ordered through the Slice app for delivery for Palermo's. The order was delivered 30 minutes past the estimated time. Ok it's Friday night...I could have looked passed it being late; however, the food was terrible! The margherita pizza was made wrong! The steak sandwich has stale bread which was also soggy and it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. (As an aside, I say steak sandwich bc if you don't pay 50 for extra"cheese, you don't get any cheese at all!)I contacted Slice's online chat since that's who my money went to and they contacted the pizza shop. Palermo's said there was nothing they can do because they haven't had any complaints today about any other orders. So I guess my complaint doesn't matter?!?!?If that's how Palermo's wants to treat their customers then they have lost my business."

"what a bummer off an experience. Food was TERRIBLE and so expensive. order the squash gnocchi. It came with very small portion and the gnocchi was so rubbery. and absent of flavor. the broccoli side was bland and missing salt and maybe something to make it interesting. My friends curried salmon was bland and served with a heaping pile of coleslaw!??? the waiter was mostly absent. I know covid has really shaken up the dining experience -but please don't forget to make good food and be hospitable to your patrons! We spent a lot of money for a fun dining experience and got nothing. will never go here again."

The falafel was also really good and fresh. I've never had a falafel taste as clean and fresh as that one. They complimentary sour veggies, olives, and freshly done pita bread. If you're vegetarian/vegan this is a great place because there are a lot of options. I do not recommend the schnitzel because it was nothing out of the ordinary. Their menu is a bit on the pricier side but it is well worth it due to their extremely large portions."

The meat lover's pizza flatbread has shrunk to half its original size, yet the price has increased, which is frustrating. The firepoppers tasted like they had been frozen and then reheated. The price of the pasta pesto also went up, while the portion size went down. Overall, it was a terrible experience for $53."
