"**Food:** I ordered the three-meat platter with three sides, which included burnt ends, pulled pork, and sausage. The meats were fantastic! The burnt ends were incredibly soft and tender, with a delightful charred crust—possibly the best I've ever had. The pulled pork was also quite good, but I wasn't a fan of the sausage. It had a flavor that reminded me of being beer-boiled and was a bit drier than I prefer. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t impress me.
**Sides:** I chose BBQ beans, fries, and cheesy corn. The fries were outstanding! They had the perfect amount of seasoning, with a hint of cinnamon, which paired excellently with the BBQ sauce. They were cooked to perfection. However, the cheesy corn wasn’t to my liking, and I found the BBQ beans reminiscent of plain chili; I swear they tasted like chili beans! They do have a variety of other meats and sides, so I definitely plan to return and try more.
**Drinks:** The restaurant has a full bar and serves cherry Coca-Cola from the fountain, which I really enjoyed! They also offer sweet tea, which is a plus since many places don’t.
**Cons:** One downside for a BBQ restaurant is the lack of mac and cheese on the menu, but that’s not a deal-breaker. It was the first chilly day in Kansas City, and I thought it was a bit cold inside the restaurant.
**Parking:** I visited on a Saturday when some businesses were closed, so parking was manageable.
Overall, I had a great experience and can't wait to go back!"
