"I had high expectations with the reviews. Planned accordingly and made a reservation. Seating was easy and not crowded at all. Ordered crab dip as an appetizer and was surprised to have it served in a soup bowl. The consistency was so thick it didn’t even fall off the spoon. The flavor was good but would have loved to see it in a flatter dish with some cheese on top. For dinner I order the filet medium. My steak was over cooked and lacking flavor. The other half ordered the crab cake sandwich. The crab cake was the thinnest, flattest crab cake I had ever seen. Parmesan crusted salmon was also ordered and came to the table burnt on the outside. When sent back and asking for plain salmon it came back to the table under cooked."

"Food tried too hard and tasted like they put too many ingredients in, in order to cover poor quality. Gnocchi was really odd, gooey with a sauce that was supposed to be Jambalaya but tasted like watery curry. Garlic bread was so oily you could hardly eat it. Both probably would have been great with a little less less cheese and garlic and the bread would have been better pick one flavor for the gnocchi and it would have been better. The cocktails were early college quality too sweet and watery. Our waiter was amazing though!"

"Food, service and atmosphere are all superior! The owners and staff are cordial and friendly. The best Greek Restaurant in Chicagoland! Order the saganaki to start delicious! Order the paidakia for 6 of the best thin cut marinated lamb chops you will ever eat! Their lamb shank with red sauce is amazing. I always get it with peas in the same red sauce. All their fish dishes are out of this world! The pastichio is also phenomenal, if you want a pasta dish. Their alcoholic beverages are generous pours. Their Greek desserts are second to none! My favorites are galaktoboureko (custard with filo dough) and baklava. There is nothing bad on the menu! DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE! There is no longer outdoor dining since Covid ended. That outdoor dining area was returned to parking. Free valet parking is offered. First come first served. No reservations are taken. Get there early for the shortest wait time."

"It 's Sunday and we have just come from the Polish Festival in New Britain. 'Twas a blast, but now we need food and we want a good deal. Well, Shish is one of the places on the planet that offers a Sunday happy hour. Can you believe it?! So here we are! Atmosphere/Appearance: This is a restaurant of many different faces and it 's pretty cool. The outside is very inviting with a few tables and chairs to dine out in the sunshine. Inside transports you to a world of where all of this wonderful food comes from. The decor is amazing and something you truly have to see for yourself. The bar itself is enormous with every kind of liquor you can imagine available. I have no idea how they set this up, but there are so many separate dining areas that it 's easy to get lost inside, but each area different from the last, but still represents the culture. It 's super cool. For this occasion we dined in the bar, being it happy hour. Service: I think his name was Mark or something, but my memory was hazy seeing as I had a few cocktails before my arrival. He was the bartender and our server. He took excellent care of us and put up with our drunken shenanigans. We appreciated him. Food: We started off with their chicken pita burger. It was so good and it 's hard to describe. It 's a thin pita with lettuce, tomato and ground chicken that 's been grilled with a whole lot of spices. Freaking delicious. I wound up eating 2 of those. We also tried their pumpkin puree. Who serves pure pumpkin puree by itself?! These guys and they 've earned their right to do so! It was so good. Sweet, spicy, thick and it just balanced out the flavors of the other foods with it. We ordered one more thing, but looking at the menu I can 't ever recognize what it was comparing it to my picture. Lol. It was okay though. Chicken burgers and pumpkin puree ALL DAY. Value: From 4:00pm to 7:00pm every day of the week they offer several options for $3.00 a piece and a few others for $5.00 a piece. A great deal. The chicken burgers were $5.00. The pumpkin puree was $6.00. Even looking at their regular menu the prices seem extremely reasonable for it being West Hartford Center. I will definitely come back here... sober and have a real meal. This place has earned it and I look forward to that day!"

"quick summary: as soon as my man and I sat, we realized that the noise level was not easy to talk. that was disappointing. greg, but our server was human and efficient. that and our tasty meals helped to tame our annoying mood at the noise level. the garnel dish of my man, while he enjoyed the plentiful portion, these were small garnel, not the jumbo described on the menu. my own sweet plate was plentiful, as well as beautifully represented and delicious. we have sung on a Friday night and would come back in the week for hopefully a quieter experience."

"B+ food at A+ prices. Our server knew nothing about beef grading... At a steakhouse... That serves imported wagyu. Our first plate of calamari was burnt and when we got our replacement we were given some ridiculous shpiel(that supposedly came from the chef) about the calamari needing to be cooked longer because it was fresh. It was burnt. Looked burnt. Tasted burnt. I worked in/managed kitchens for years and I understand that mistakes happen but the correct way to fix them is to just apologize and replace the dish. I really didn't appreciate being spoken to like I'm some kind of idiot by a server who has less product knowledge than me about the food at the restaurant she works at. The second plate was cooked correctly. That's all I wanted. Entrees were good, not great. Not worth the price tag. I'm really not the kind of person who bothers leaving bad reviews, but I left this place feeling grifted and insulted."

"I typically don't write reviews, but I was really disappointed with the food at Ozark. They used to have good food, but the ground steak I ordered was dry and bland. The mushrooms and onions on top were tasty, but they couldn't make up for the lack of flavor in the meat. I could only eat half of it before running out of mushrooms and onions. The pinto beans seemed to be straight out of a can with no seasoning, and everything else was just average. On the bright side, the service was excellent despite a wait. The waitress was friendly and made us feel at home. Overall, the atmosphere was welcoming with a good vibe."

"Good food and service. The staff is friendly and attentive. Went for the wood-fired pizza and had a very tasty thin crust pizza. Would definitely order it again. The feta fries were just OK, sprinkling cold feta cheese on the fries just falls off and hard to make work. Overall, nice lunch and an enjoyable dining experience. Reasonable prices and good service make it a place to return to."

"Our little group gets together a couple times a year to go have dinner and try out a new place and somehow we always end up back at The Top. The service is always outstanding. They seem to make you feel like a king for a day. And the service on thisoccasion was just over the top. Jason, our waiter, makes it look so easy when we really are a tough crowd to please. You neversaw him unless you needed something and then he's standing right there waiting to hand it to you. He described the desserts tous and such an elegant way. We pretty much ordered one of everything. And while was he right on point! If you have a chance totry this place out, I promise they make the coldest and most perfect vodka martinis in town. Oh, and the bacon appetizer is adish you will not soon forget. Thanks to all the hard-working people at the top for making our evening absolutely perfect."

"I was in Falmouth visiting a client a few days back and we met at this place for lunch. What a quaint, charming, and incredibly wonderful place. Those of you who know me, know that I don't use those words lightly. This place is a charming blend of eclectic rustic charm. And the food was amazingly good. I had baked scrod with nothing on it. I've had it before like that in other places and yeah you can mess it up. Not this order it was cooked to perfection. Even the baked potato was perfect. Two people plus tip was roughly about $80 yeah it's a little high, we did have a few drinks so that might have had something to do with it. (My client bought lunch. That said what you received makes it worthwhile. They don't rush you either. We were there for two and a half hours just talking, I do a lot of counseling work. Conclusion: Well worth the trip to get there, I was an hour away, well worth the visit. I highly recommend this establishment with five stars. "Oakbrook Reza TERRIBLE food, food was cold, no flavor very bland. Chicken was tough had no flavor. The bread that they serve should have been like a oven flat pita bread, but looked like tortilla bought in a package. Again terrible. When we called to make a reservation they say that they don't take reservations. And they never told us that they did not take credit cards on the phone. Upon walking in we were told that they only take cash. Her excuse was the owner said credit card fees are too high. They are supposed to have a lunch buffet daily, that is the reason we went there in the first place to try the buffet. They advertise that they do the buffet daily, but of course they do not. When we entered we were told that they don't do the buffet during the week anymore only on the weekends. So we were very disappointed from the time we walked in the door. And the lady that greeted us very unprofessional and very rude looked very sloppy had a coat on... And she was going in and out of the kitchen like that. Very unsanitary. And the owner wasn't there, we asked for him/her.... We were given a menu. We made our selections. Then when she took our order, we were told They did not have the food items we chose. My sister-in-law ordered soup and never even got it. When we questioned her all she said was that's the owner's rules...No credit cards??? Really....who don't except credit cards these days. So we were disappointed from the time we walked in the door. It also looks very dirty inside. Food stuck on the floor had to be from the day before. We should have left, but being on lunch break doesn't give us the option to get up and go to another place when your on a timed lunch break. We went there to celebrate moms birthday. Total disappointment."

"We were immediately escorted to our table when we arrived. As we entered we walked through the bar area which was quite large and seemed to be a great spot for people to gather. Our table was in another room right off the bar area which was very nice. Our server came over right away and welcomed us and took our drink order. The white sangria was very good! We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, which I was surprised it came out quickly. It was a large portion that was more than enough for my husband and I to share. It was delicious a little crispy and the Buffalo sauce was very good. We both ordered the Caprese Chicken. There were 2 pieces of baked chicken drizzled with Balsamic dressing. The tomatoes and mozzarella were ok, I prefer the tomatoes to be diced or whole slices vs the mini tomatoes but everything was still delicious. I would suggest this restaurant and would go back again."

"I dined here for the first time last night and was fortunate enough to secure a table without a reservation. The experience was exceptional, with a great selection of wines and delicious dishes. We started with fried chickpeas and a clams and chorizo appetizer, which had a delicious broth but limited bread (which was actually a good thing so we could save room for our entrees). Our main courses were paella with chorizo, clams, shrimp, and scallops, as well as scallops with polenta drizzled in truffle sauce. For dessert, we enjoyed the creme brulee, which was simply heavenly. Thank you, Chef Bianca, for a wonderful meal!"

"My girlfriend had been eager to try this restaurant for a while, so I made reservations for Valentine's Day. Neither of us had ever experienced Afghan cuisine before, but we were excited to explore. The food was absolutely amazing! We kicked off our meal with champagne (a special for Valentine's Day) and shared Ashak as an appetizer, which was simply delicious. For the main courses, my girlfriend ordered the seafood combination while I opted for Kabeli Palow, a special rice dish served with lamb and pumpkin puree—the puree was incredible! For dessert, we enjoyed rice pudding paired with Afghan tea. There aren't enough words to describe the exquisite dishes and the fantastic service we received. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, and I just hope it doesn't become so popular that getting a reservation gets tricky! I'm already looking forward to exploring more of their menu!"
