"Second time at Jocelyn's, good authentic Mediterranean food. We sampled a nice selection of appetizers, which were all very good. Mixed drinks were well crafted for my co-diners, my scotch on the rocks was a good pour. Main courses were all huge. The chicken shawarma that two of us had was overcooked and on the dry side, but the leftover tzatziki from the apps kept the plate edible. We visited (two couples) on an early on Sunday night and the place was very crowded. There was a table of 20 nearby that did not effect our service, but probably was the reason for the dry shawarma. All the veggies on the apps and mains were fresh and perfectly ripe. We'll be back."

"I really had high hopes for this place. The menu was perfect for my celiac and dairy free daughter. The food tasted good, but there was just very little of it. Our taco platter was a huge plate with 2 tiny tacos on it. The flourless chocolate cake was very good. The main problem was service. It took forever for anyone to acknowledge us. Drinks took forever because “the bar was backed up.” When I asked about where our dessert was, I was told it would be 10 minutes along with a very rude “We are really busy tonight!” And heaven forbid, I asked for an itemized receipt. That sent him over the edge. Why in the world if you know your restaurant is going to be packed on V-day don’t you staff up accordingly? This dinner literally ruined our night."

"I usually stop by if I am in the 5th St. Market shops. They have excellent coffee drinks and a lot of treats too. I like the newly remodeled dining area, it has a modern feel to it with some specialty items. Last time, I bought some really fancy sea salt. It was very expensive, but it's fun to try new things. Nice spot to meet with friends. Also, a wonderful flower shop next door."

"I'm crying. That's how disappointed I am with this local favorite. When I called (October 2021) to order my authentic favorites, I was told they got rid of all their authentic dishes, including the Mala Xiang Guo, Duck, and Golden Ribs. Their menu is still extensive, but filled with American-Chinese fares. They're good cooks, so if you're into them, I'm sure you'll enjoy them. You know, the Happy Family, Triple Delight ,Orange Chicken... Personally, I don't deviate towards those fast food Chinese dishes, and if I ever do get a craving for it (I do sometimes), I have another favorite place for them. At a much more affordable price. I feel that Asian Fusion's whole concept of having a higher price point but quality, authentic cuisine was defeated because of this change. To our loss."

"Food was outstanding. The cheese board was beautiful and contained more than the run of the mill options usually found. We had the scallops with black truffle risotto. Absolutely divine! Also had a very nice wine by the bottle at a reasonable bottle price. Arugula salad was delicious too. The chef came out to meet us upon our request...a real Frenchman, by the way, and so nice. Overall it was a great choice for a relaxing evening with dear friends"

"The food was delicious. I got the Queenstown Farmer, with fried chicken as the meat option. It was so delicious. It came with 3 eggs- perfectly cooked, as I requested which was over-easy. It also came with a lovely buttered toast and some amazing strawberry jam. The wonderful thing about the strawberry jam is it seemed to pair nicely with both the chicken and the toast. What resulted was a lovely little assortment and combination of pairings. Sometimes it was the chicken and egg on toast. Sometimes it was chicken and toast with jam. It was a lovely setting, and they had heaters ready to go for a chilly day. I did spy a biscuit which I thought about buying as an addition to my meal. It was absolutely huge and fluffy and looked to come with that same strawberry jam. Ultimately, I am glad I didn't get it, as I wound up stuffed. My only ding was....the meal came with beans which I didn't want. So, I ordered it without them. It would have been extra-nice if the server had offered to bring extra toast or bring something else instead. That would have been a great touch. Now...I didn't want to be fussy or high-maintenance or anything, so I didn't specifically request anything extra. My attitude was that I would not order the beans, and if they offered something else, great...I'll take it. If not...fine. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again, or maybe try lunch next time."

"Food as always , excellent. We have been going to Rosine’s for a very long time . We normally sit in the bar and eat which is fantastic . This time since it my Mom’s birthday we dined in the dining area. Service was average to slightly below . Took 20 minutes after being seated to at least be acknowledged. After ordering 3 drinks. It took another 20 minutes to see them . The restaurant was not that busy to warrant this . Once drinks arrived , it seemed things got a little better but looking back it was not really all that good service wise I would not ever shy away from going back because the food and quality of the food is really good . I just think it’s best to sit in the bar ."

"Wow ! We just ordered Take out for our first visit. We can?t believe we haven?t tried earlier. Truly excellent food. We enjoyed the Arni Roasted Pork shoulder with rice, potatoes. So Good ! "long overdue for this assessment. my wife and I thought a little date. many paints when we are stopped by opa is packed, with so great food it is hard to find them with tons empty tables. eating is good, the service is great and the owner puts his heart in everything he does. we really enjoyed ourselves and eating. I was a great fan of the Greek coffee, it is something they really zit and chew the mud at the end of the meal. great for a finish to a great meal."

"This was my second visit to Open Sesame and it was just as good as the first. The staff were welcoming and accessible without hanging over the table. The food was yummy the lamb shank with rice was the nightly special and it was SO good, as was the Kafta. But the highlight was the Chicken Tawook, with my choice of sides. The atmosphere is romantic, with a beautiful sheltered patio. This is a neighborhood spot I will always feel like going to."

"Fabulous combination of upscale dining with a neighborhood friendly ambience. We were a party of four that booked Divan for a birthday celebration and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the overall dining experience. We were met and seated by a friendly maître d ' and served by a friendly and engaged server. We ordered the grilled octopus and the Kashke Bademjan (Eggplant and Whey Dip as well as fresh bread. Our entrees included the Kabob Borsch, Lamb Chops, and Chicken Barg. All of the entrees were delicious and the presentation was fantastic, but our table rated the the Kabob Torsch and the Lamb Chops as Exceptional and the Chicken Barg as Really Good . The ladies ordered the R&R cocktail (Gin, St Germaine, Chamomile tea, etc. and the gentlemen ordered wine and the Rosemary Scotch Punch. The Rosemary Scotch Punch was the hit of the table even with the ladies that don 't quite particularly enjoy Scotch. In fact, they ordered their own Scotch Punch after tasting mine. The bartender knows what she is doing, her cocktail craft is on point! Overall a very pleasant dining experience and we will be back!"

"The owner personally came over and talked to us and gave us a free desert for just trying out the restaurant. The bruschetta is awesome, wings cooked good, the in house marinara sauce is super good. Gyro pita plate is a great meal with a large portion, my wife got cheese tortellini with a blush sauce and said it was great. The pasta night special also included a piece of garlic bread and a slice of cheese cake. Both deserts were awesome and will be more than willing to come back to try more. Please give this place a try the owner said they used to be at a different location from 2008-2012 then at this current location since and it’s one of those restaurants that need to stay alive. I got two appetizers and two meals for $45, could easily have been below $30 without appetizers and that’s really good for the amount you get and the money you pay nowadays."

"Came here for sips and shucks spontaneously with a friend and was the best decision made yet. First time here, and while the atmosphere was quite loud and busy, our server could not have made us overlook that even more than we did with her outstandingservice. Yamen did an amazing job with accommodating our needs as well as making our dinner a special night. I was celebratinga job offer and while she did explain they don't do anything for celebrations, she surprised us with a sparkler and shots on thehouse and I could not have been more grateful. "I ordered the steak kabob with a salad, and one of the kabob sticks was extremely dry, with burnt onions and paprika. I couldn't even eat it. The other kabob was fine, but they should not have included the visibly subpar kabob on my plate. They also forgot to bring my hummus, and the salad dressing tasted like it was straight out of a bottle. Overall, the food did not have the authentic Armenian flavor I was expecting."

"This was horrible. My friend and I went here for lunch after a meeting at UCLA, we walked in to order and pay and the lady taking our order was extremely rude. She also made both of us pay a two-dollar service fee after we had paid the price of ourfood and tax. A sneaky way of getting a tip, there were mere pennies in the tip jar! Now for the sickening food. My friendordered the house-special beef noodle soup and I ordered the spicy beef noodle. You 'd expect the house special to be one oftheir best meals.... but no. The noodles were overcooked for both of our meals, the broth had no flavor, and the meat was waytoo fatty. My friend and I had about 3 bites of our meals before feeling sickly. I wouldn 't even give this a star. Verydispleased."
