"For instance, three weeks ago, I ordered a Santa Fe salad that is supposed to come with avocado. I didn’t realize until after I'd received it that there was no avocado in my salad. A week later, I went back and ordered the same salad, and though a different staff member assisted me this time, I noticed as he mixed my bowl that it also didn’t have avocado. When I inquired about it, he confirmed its absence and added it upon my request.
Today, I returned once more, and yet again, a different person was helping me. I ordered the same salad and was determined to keep a close eye on the preparation. As she passed my salad to the chopper without including the avocado, I caught her just in time and pointed out that she had forgotten it.
Each time I've pointed out the missing avocado, there has been a lack of apologies, and the staff often seem to avoid making eye contact with me, as if they are aware that they've been caught. It’s quite strange. This marks the third consecutive time my salad has been missing this premium ingredient. Given their reactions and the frequency of the omissions, it’s difficult not to feel as though this has been intentional. It's disappointing because I genuinely enjoy the salads at Chopt."
