"I called on Valentines day to ask if a reservation was needed and was told no and to come right in. The person answering the phone was slightly rude but ended cheerful so I thought I caught her at a busy moment. I found out my first assumption was right. When we got there we parked right up front, since I had never been there I asked the hostess if it was ok to park up front and she answered.. Aaaahhh Yeah, because the city F'ing F'd up their F'ing parking lot. I should have left then, but the reviews were good and pictures of food looked good. The hostess said sit wherever you want so we sat in the bar area. She came to get our drink orders and I said I'll have a glass of water and if I could get a cup of soup right away (I was feeling a little car sick). She then put her hand in my face and repeated WATER, and then looked to my date for his order. She brought our drinks back to table immediately with bruchetta. She walked away to answer the phone to which she spoke to them extremely rude as well. We went up to the bar to ask what our coke cost because we were done, she said don't worry about it and sarcastically said Happy Valentines day as we walked out. My boyfriend said that she had to be a family member or owner to get away with such terrible behavior. Another couple of people were going to go in as we were coming out and I said no food is good enough to tolerate that kind of unprofessionalism , they said oh yea the short rude waitress last time we were here we thought she was drunk. They turned around and left with us. So I guess I'll never know if food was good or not"

"Surprisingly disappointed. Note to staff and management: bad service can’t be overcome by other positive attributes. She must’ve been new, which is odd for a large party on a busy night. She didn’t check to see if we received our entire order (we hadn’t) or if it was prepared correctly (it wasn’t). She (and her colleagues) failed in other basics, like pre bussing. Empty cocktail glasses just accumulated. We had empty plates all over when they started to bring out the entrees. One food runner waited for me to pick up an empty plate to make room for a side dish he was holding; when he dropped the mushrooms (which were underwhelming), he simply walked away instead of taking the used appetizer plate with him. That’s “ ” service at a “ ” price. The kitchen messed up in several ways (note: don’t bother ordering anything other than “medium” for your steak, because that’s all they seem to know we ordered a medium rare and a medium well they were identically medium). The worst part was her offensive attitude: she brought out the wrong cocktail (it was obvious: wrong garnish, wrong hue, wrong consistency). But she claimed it was correct. We still sent it back and when she returned with a clearly different drink, she sarcastically said that she hoped I’d like it better. She obviously made a mistake; but instead of owning it and apologizing, she acted like I was complaining that the drink wasn’t strong enough. As I write this, I wonder why I tipped generously. Shame on me and my ego. Sorry, future diners, for perpetuating poor service."

"we had a reservation for 11 people and when the first person arrived, they had no record of it. they told us they didn't work with open table anymore because they had problems with them. even if I have returned emails and reminders to my reservation. they then informed us that no one contacted from cask open table. we had a good time for them to take us. I say that, because if it were a busy Friday or Saturday night, we might have been turned off. when our party arrived, we put our drink order and then start eating. a short time later we order our most important entrees. a woman ordered an salate and said they were from eisburg salate with which she was good. the apps were good. the waitress came back to inform us that they fries out and sweet potatoes! we were a little confused about how this happened. we could replace any other side they had provided. then, when another person in our group got her salat, they had not the dressing she demanded. the burgers, who were ordered medium, came out well. waiting for our food was very long considering that there were maybe 5 or 6 tables in total. our waitress disappeared from a bed when I think she was the only one who works. we had to hunt them to check a family because they had to come home. when we checked all our audits, those who were ordered to be charged for the other side we had to order. Nobody said anything about it because it wasn't worth the fight. not a manager was in himself or came by to ask how our food was or apologise for being out of many things. we only saw our waitress, hostess and bartender. it was very disappointing."

"I called the restaurant to place a take out order. It took awhile for someone to answer the phone, and when they did, I was put on hold. I almost hung up since I was on hold a long time. I thought they had forgotten about me. When I arrived at the restaurant, I waited in my car until I received the text that my food was ready. When I went into the restaurant, no one was at the front desk. I stood there waiting for someone for over five minutes to cash out. The only reason someone finally came over to the front desk was because the phone was ringing. She asked me to wait while she answered the phone. They automatically applied an 18% tip to my bill, however, I deleted it due to the poor service. I ordered the chicken finger dinner and the chicken was over cooked and the classic chicken sandwich. The chicken on the sandwich was covered in a spicy paprika seasoning and the chips were burnt. I’ve ordered that sandwich numerous times before and it wasn’t seasoned like that. I don’t know if there’s a different cook who makes the take out orders, but every time I order take out the food is terrible. If I eat in the restaurant, the food is very good. It cost $37.00 for mediocre food. If the service had been better, with the tip, it would have been $44.00. My recommendation is eat in the restaurant and do not do takeout. Quality is not the same."
