"My goodness this place is amazing. It came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. Make sure you come ready to eat. The dinners come with quite a few delicious sides. The chicken, the fries, and the corn fritters were to die for. The service was great also! Old fashioned environment, with absolutely divine food. Large place with multiple different rooms to dine in. You can even reserve a portion for an event. Cannot get over how close this gem is to my house, and I definitely waited too long to check it out."

"Our experience started off on the wrong foot when the waitress seemed rushed to take our order. When we had questions, she responded with a rather snappy attitude. When we requested to speak with a manager about getting another server, she smirked and simply said, "I am the manager, what can I do for you?" Frustrated, we decided to leave. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning. The sullen attitude from the young manager was particularly off-putting. No thanks!"

Our server, Lily, was especially attentive, making sure our needs were addressed quickly and with a friendly demeanor. "We visited this restaurant on a Monday evening and found it to be not very crowded. Looking back, we should have requested outdoor seating as it was a beautiful evening in San Francisco. The service was attentive and top-notch. The decor and ambiance were very pleasing. It's the type of place where people tend to dress up a bit, but you can also feel comfortable in nice jeans and a collared shirt. While the food was decent, we found that the flavors were somewhat lacking and a bit bland. The side dishes were tasty, but the options were limited."

"Never had a bad meal here. Great food every time. The vegetable soup and chicken salad half and half meal was wonderful. The dollar brownies are unreal. The pie filling stuffed French toast breakfast is massively delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in Greensboro. So glad the virus hasn't shut them down. Went Sunday and ate inside. We were the only customers there, but their takeout business was booming. Free fountain drinks for the delivery companies drivers was a nice touch. Their small dining room was sectioned off for social distancing, but their once booming, wait to be seated energy was sadly missing. Food was wonderful, and so glad they're hanging in there. Enjoy if you get a chance!"

"I was disappointed today because the person serving us today was handling raw cookie dough and then proceeded to serve us without changing gloves. While this may not seem like a big deal, it IS a food safety violation and I have the training in baking and pastry arts to know raw cookie dough especially with eggs in it can be very bad due to salmonella and other food borne illnesses which can be present in raw eggs and flour, especially for older folks, children, or people with weakened immune systems. Please please PLEASE change your gloves before serving ready to eat food! It looks unprofessional when you don't, and it can be a real danger to your customers.I know how hard you guys work, and having worked in a bakery myself I know how much work goes into selling baked goods. Please take this to heart and remind your employees to change their gloves before serving customers!! I'd leave a higher review if I could, because I've really liked Mary's Mountain Cookies, but this experience really shocked me. Thank you!!"

"If you enjoy dry carrot cake with minimal cream cheese frosting and an abundance of nuts that are as crunchy as trail mix, then this restaurant might be the right choice for you. It appears that they prefer to use whipped cream instead of buttercream for the outer frosting, which I find unappealing. While I love whipped cream, using it as the primary frosting feels cheap and lacks flavor. You'd be better off grabbing a slice of carrot cake from Susie Cakes, Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, or anywhere else, really. Even Ralph's offers a better option—just $3 a slice, allowing you to save $6 and leave with a smile after enjoying a moist piece topped with a generous layer of delicious cream cheese buttercream frosting."

"What an excellent visit to Perkins American Food Co. 346 Meadow Ln, Danville, PA 17821. I mentioned about the lack of visiting in many years. I personally prefer Mom-Pop visits however my service from Natha B. was the best experience. As I said with the lack of visiting it could be considered the first visit. She sat with and explained the many options in ordering from Perkins and topped it off with a friendly joke. Ask her about the praying bear. Perkins has provided a tasty and extremely large breakfast which is exactly what I was looking forward to. The on property parking lot was large and easily accommodated large one ton vehicles. It was a great experience and with the assistance of Natha B. I would revisit Perkins American Food. "As someone who managed this restaurant nearly a decade ago, I was impressed. The dining room and bakery cases were spottless, the omlette was prepared perfectly and quickly, the server brought out a fresh Iced tea with spoon for the refil, the modern decor updates have been beutifully done. "Seriously our meal was so bad my teenage son wouldn't eat it. Pancakes burned on the bottom, hash browns were cold and not throughly cooked. Sausage links were burnt to a crisp on one side uncooked on the other. I survived a week in survival training and had a better meal. My fresh fruit had rotten grapes. NOW with that said the staff was awesome. The waitress was friendly and very good at her job. The Manager was awesome he went above and beyond. I refused a free meal and paid for what we did eat. The place was clean with a pleasant atmosphere. I rarely eat breakfast out and this didn't make me want to again. However, we all have an off day now and then so someday if the need to eat out comes up I would not hesitate to give them 1 more chance to redeem themselves."

"I had my office party catered, and the food was a huge success! The Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms were the first to disappear. My personal favorite was the deliciously lemony Chicken Satay. The Fruit Platter with Assorted Cheeses was a great appetizer and provided a nice alternative to the tempting dessert tray. The assortment of Fresh Wraps was beautifully presented, colorful, and ensured everyone could easily find something they liked. The Pasta Salad was, as always, delectable. Joe, Rose, Jen, and the staff did an outstanding job catering to my needs. Thank you so much!"

"Village Inn had agreed to participate in the local snowmobile polker run ... we all arrived and no one was there but the cleaning man ... reducible! literally a parking lot FULL of snowmobiles and there was no bartender so they would not serve us all breakfast. Why was there no manager on site when they knew they would have a crowd for a local club? Sadly disrespectful, unprofessional . definitely would NOT recommend for locals or out of towners."
