"Three adults and 2 picky children had a wonderful Saturday/Birthday lunch here. The service was good, the food flavorful and prepared exactly as requested (due to children 's tastes). The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. I 've had far worse that cost far more. We will be returning on our next visit to Atlanta. Update, two months later... This has become our 'go too ' restaurant for Indian food when we are visiting our daughter. This is a small and cozy eatery with an uncommonly friendly and helpful serving staff (I wouldn 't be surprised to learn they are all members of the owner 's family). On the Saturday afternoon we visited, we were the only customers when we arrived. The server noticed we had our 4 year old granddaughter with us and immediately changed the music from the tradition Indian fare that normally plays, to children 's tunes. This is a small detail, but it was an endearing moment. As a side note, when other diners began arriving we gave our server a head nod and he returned the sound system to the traditional music. When it was time to order we were given advice and guidance toward menu items that complemented each other. When the food arrived it was delicious. The restaurant makes many of it 's condiments on site, and they wonderfully enhance the flavors of the already excellent food. Our daughter, who works in the veterinary clinic a few doors down, had added this to her list of 'once a week ' lunch spots. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any one interested in trying Indian for the first time or the hundredth time."

"This establishment should be avoided at all costs. I visited this resteraunt last night for a date night with my boyfriend and was really excited to support a family owned business and the food looked incredible online. However after ordering our food and being brought our salads, half way through eating my salad I found a German roach inside my salad! Now I understand that being sat outside there is an extremely slight possibility that the roach was from the awning above (which is what the owner suggested), however most would notice if a bug fell from the sky onto their food and this roach was not on top of my food. After notifying the waitress, she returned to reluctantly inform us that the owner is certain that the roach did not come from her kitchen as their food is prepared with care and cleanliness . As a fellow business owner this response was appalling. Not once did the owner come and speak with us, nor a manager. However, the owner did relay the message that we could come and visit his kitchen . This was such a display of alarming and disheartening customer service and not a way to treat any customer. As for the manager responding to my boyfriends review and asking what could have been done, here are a couple options that exemplify exceptional customer service: Come out and personally APOLOGIZE at any point and not send messages through your young waitress staff. Show that you care about your customers experience and are eager to make it right instead of denying responsibility and simply offering another salad. Take accountability for your restaurant. Even if the roach by some wild unlikely chance came from outside, it is still your establishment and you created an unpleasant experience so at least offer to credit or discount the meal or offer something on the house .Take your dollars elsewhere folks. You are not a valued customer here."

"This place right here offered such a great experience. There are sisters who own this place and they still run it like they just opened. They greet you and if you have questions about the menu she will go through the history of the dish and flavors. We have never had moraccon food but they set a pretty high standard. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and along with a great waitstaff I will definitely come back. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered chicken pastilla, chicken kabob, madghout and chicken tagine. Chicken pastilla takes 45 minutes to make so we ordered other food to try it after. There's an appreciation for them to make an item by hand. The Madghout is a lamb shank that's made with 7 seasonings and marinated for hours. It was tender, full of flavor and filling. I enjoyed the rice and the mint tea. If you want a drink I highly recommend the mint tea. It's hot but the mint makes it refreshing and honestly very enjoyable. Try this place out. The chicken was flavorful and so delicious. Also have a conversation with the sisters they can give you so much history of moraccon food like the chicken pastilla that's typically made for really special events and is not eaten every day. It's typically made for high standing people so it was an honor to try it and experience such a major food. Overall loved the food and the staff."
