"We waited for more than two hours and ten minutes and never received our food. The chef fell ill in the kitchen and left. It was clear that he was the only one cooking. The owner tried to cook after the chef left, but they could not give us a definite time for when our food would be ready. As a result, four tables ended up leaving. This happened during a Valentine's Day celebration. They didn't even top off our salads or drinks. The service has been declining ever since the new owner took over the restaurant. Needless to say, we will not be coming back!"

Wait staff was nice, the owners or managers were there but did not make any effort to talk or thank the patrons, not that it is a deal breaker, but a nice touch. Will definitely come back when in town"

"Hard to get a good read on this place. People in the area seem to like it. Figured we would see what the deal was this past Sunday. The food was decent but let's be real, people don't go out to eat for the food; they go out for the experience,including the atmosphere but more importantly the service. As myself and the two other individuals I was with have all worked inthe service industry ourselves, we have a higher tolerance for less than stellar service than those who have not had theexperience. Service here was far below adequate. It's never good when poor service ruins the entire experience. Could have justbeen an off night for the server, or may be they haven't been trained well, maybe a mix of both. I am guessing the server wasn'tnew as they seemed comfortable sitting at a table for a few minutes with other guests while they stepped away to get the gratedcheese for us, sadly it never arrived. Best of luck to any future patrons who might read this prior to visiting Brazi's."

"We dined as a party of four last night with a reservation for 7:15. Unfortunately, they had already run out of the ravioli special and the Caesar salad, which was a bit disappointing since it was still early in the evening. However, our waitress was fantastic and suggested other specials that turned out to be delicious. She provided excellent service and even called out the specials for us a few times. The food was great, but the noise level was excessively high. We found ourselves having to yell to each other and lean across the table just to hear one another. Overall, the food was wonderful, but the noise level was quite overwhelming."

"We love this place and visit them weekly if not more. They have become family to us in Port, and go out of their way to make us feel welcome and well fed. The food is incredible and they'll make anything just the way that you like it. I know all of the names of the great people that work there, and they know mine. They treat my little son like he's the king of the universe high fives, first pumps, showing him how they make pizza, cutting up his pizza and bringing it at just the right temperature, taking care of his stroller... The list goes on and on. Just a few weeks ago my wife was picking up a few pies for guys doing construction at our house. When they saw my wife trying to navigate a few pies and a stroller, they walked back to the house with her, carrying the pies for her. Catered from them a few times and order in often. First class people and first class food. One of my favorite parts of this great town."

"We were passing through this area and decided to give it a try. Service was outstanding knowledgeable and attentive. The servings are way too large we split a main course and it was more than enough. We had the chicken parm and it was very tasty. Very good Caesar salad and the caprese was just ok (the tomatoes could have been riper). Desserts were also very good. Impressive wine list and thought that the pricing was reasonable for an Amarone. Negative, the tables are very close to each other so the noise level is a bit high. If we lived close by we would probably be a regular."

"my wife and I had a great experience. we had dinner before we went to a show in the lyric. the hostess warmly welcomed us that we immediately made ourselves comfortable and welcome. we had the Sally salad. the salad dress was excellent. we had calf and spaghetti bags. both were well prepared, well seasoned and great tasting. we also had a supplement of tortellini with bolognese sauce. again, great tasting and well prepared. Finally we had blueberry manhattans. it was a great cocktail. a great culinary experience."

"This was probably my 5th time at Sammy’s and unfortunately will be my last. When I made my reservation I specifically requested a table away from the bar area as one person in my party is hearing impaired. Upon arriving, we were taken to a table right near the bar and I asked the hostess if it would be possible to sit elsewhere per my reservation request and she acknowledged that they had received my request but would not be accommodating it. At this time, we did consider leaving the restaurant entirely that this was an unacceptable way of handling this matter. Additionally, although the bread was excellent as always, several of the entrées were mediocre to poor quality. Specifically, the chicken used in several of the pastas has declined in quality and appears to be processed frozen chicken pieces i.e. Tyson etc. also, the Alfredo sauce now appears to be powdered/jarred white sauce rather than the high-quality sauce served previously. It is very disappointing to see the decline in food quality and preparation over the last year. In light of all these factors, I will not be going to this restaurant again and do not recommend it to anyone else."

"The waitress came out twice to inform us that our food would be ready soon. The second time, she mentioned it would be out in 2 minutes. After waiting for 5 minutes, I went to the front and asked the owner if there was a problem with our food. She went to check and it arrived 5 minutes later. We only saw the waitress one more time when she brought us the check. The owner did not stop by to see if everything was okay. When I requested for our drinks to be comped due to the food delay, the owner flatly refused and even insulted me. The food was overpriced and mediocre. The service was terrible, and the owner was rude. There are much better dining options in Ogunquit, and I will not waste another 2 hours of my life at this restaurant. I tried to give it a rating of 0, but the system would not allow it, so it receives 1 star, which it does not deserve."

"Wow! I don't usually make reviews after visiting a restaurant, but it would actually be rude not to compliment the chef after my experience! ....i had the best meal of my entire life last night at la cascata. I think it was the most expensive thing on the menu but it was worth every penny. Compliments to the chef and kitchen crew! I had jumbo shrimp, lobster, crab, and scallops, with a scampi sauce with grilled asparagus! It came out steaming hot which made it even more enjoyable! I will be telling everyone i know to come try that dish! My husband was very satisfied with his scallops and risotto as well!! Hoping my husband will splurge again for a special occasion to go there! Our server, Deanna was great! She was very kind, friendly and helpful with the menu and service!! Thank you, La cascata!"

"We had a fantastic time at this restaurant for my child's birthday—it was our first visit! You can tell the seafood is fresh when you see the building where they prepare the daily catch. To start, our group ordered the Bees Knees cocktail, a Manhattan, and some wine. I have to say, their clam chowder is now my favorite. My daughter and I shared the scallop dish, while others in our party enjoyed the mixed seafood plate and fish and chips. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive, making our experience even better. This place is a must-visit for dinner in San Francisco!"

"We found this Gem by accident as we were at the Lake Grove fair and googled places to eat near by. There were 6 of us and everyones food was amazing. I had a special shrimps and clams with a special macaroni the best i have had and i have had thisdish many times at other places. My Wife had the Lobster Ravoli Amazing!!! My 4 Sisters had a special Chicken dish with RigatoniAmazing. Then if that was not enough the Homemade Desserts out of this world the Lemon cake the Icecream cake and the Cheesecake WOW!! The owners are amazing they make you feel like your eating dinner with Family!!! If you dont try this place you aremissng out!!! We have found our new favorite place."

"I visited V’s Sunday for a birthday brunch from noon until 2pm and about 6;30 that evening I started feeling really bad. My throat was killing me, couldn’t swallow and my face was aching I went to the doctor and they said I had strep throat. I ask if you could get strep from food and she said yes if the food was contaminated. I won’t be visiting V’s again or eating anyone’s buffet."

"First time ordering and trying this place. I ordered delivery. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and provided nice service. This was during a pandemic in the midst of a snow storm so the timing to get it delivered is somewhat understandable. Took a little over an hour BUT it was hot . There was an issue with my order when it arrived but when I called back the same gentleman who took my order realized he'd made the mistake and sent me the correct dish in less than 30 min. Mistakes happen but how you recover makes allllll the difference and I greatly appreciate it. It was a bit pricey but you get alot for your money. I'll be back to try other items. The fettuccine Alfredo and margarita pizza was so delicious. The pasta was so flavorful and arrived hot.. Thank you."
