"This restaurant has a very cozy and classic atmosphere, and the seafood is absolutely delicious—you won't regret dining here. However, the area we were in was quite crowded, making it difficult for us to get the staff's attention to place our orders. It would have been better if we could choose a table in a quieter spot with fewer people. Overall, the food deserves a 5/5."

Excellent service. Expect to spend around $40 per person easily. This is not a family-friendly restaurant.

Literally right at the docks where the fish are received, this warm spot allows you to enjoy a variety of delights with attentive service. You absolutely cannot miss the clam chowder! View menu

I was in the mood for Seafood. There's so many different options in Wharf. I looked at several options an ended up at Scoma's. Which I am glad I did. The scallops were perfect. Cannot beat the gulf shrimp.

Overall, the seafood was exceptionally fresh. We ordered a variety of dishes and were pleased with each one. We enjoyed the Dungeness crab, shrimp cocktail, cioppino, clam chowder, and heirloom tomato salad. Food: 5/5.

This restaurant is a must for me when in San Francisco. I have been frequenting this solid seafood restaurant for over 40 years. It’s a must and normally I get the Dungeness crab cocktail with Louie sauce and the Cioppino. It’s one of the cities best. Great servers, Gus is one of my favorites there.Food: 5/5 View menu

When I planned my trip to San Francisco, I was eager to find a restaurant that served great cioppino. After reading various reviews, I chose to try Scoma's Restaurant. The cioppino was outstanding, especially when paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The staff was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there.

Scoma's was fantastic! The wine we selected was superb. We enjoyed the fried anchovies, beet salad, crab cake, and wild black cod pasta diplomatica. Everything was outstanding. The service was prompt, attentive, and incredibly helpful. We're here for three more days, and I wouldn't be surprised if we come back. Food rating: 5/5.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
