"I went with my friend … two women. It was early Saturday evening 5:15. The restaurant was not busy. The food was good but costly. I had a ribeye steak … cooked to perfect temp … a tad salty and a tad greasy. But good. (Shoestring type fries …way too greasy … I ate only a couple. We had squash flowers stuffed with crabmeat for appetizer…absolutely delicious! And fabulous flourless peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert. We sat looking out at the lake. The bar has nice ambience too with fireplace and the lighting is nice. The servers were very sweet, but they seemed really nervous…like they were afraid they might make a mistake. They seemed to be under a lot of pressure. My complaint is with the waiter. He was pushy and rude. He cut me off when I asked him about a wine recommendation. I had to ask him to let me finish my sentence . When we said we would like to start with an appetizer and decide about our entree later, he said we couldn’t do that … that we would have to order our entree and appetizer at the same time. He was ridiculously rude. I tipped him accordingly. I gave the bulk of what would have been his tip to the servers because they were so sweet. Restaurant has a large parking lot and it would be very easy for the cars to park themselves, but it’s valet parking only. Really silly. It’s a nice place, but I came away thinking get over yourself … trying too hard to be classy which makes it not so classy."

"have loved everything! to be in the service industry for the last 20 years, it is hard for me to find exceptional experiences where eating, service and atmosphere are all 5 stars. the attention to the detail on ocean 44 is incredible and helped me relax on my day when we celebrated my birthday and our 2 years high season day. so thank you so much to adapt. hannah, our server, was an absolute doll! the feeds and drinks speak for themselves, they can literally not go wrong with something on the menu there is something for everyone. many thanks for such a great night!"

"Great experience! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and immediately when we sat down our waiter said happy anniversary (marked that as an occasion on Open Table) Gram was so attentive kind and helpful in making our food and drink selections. The Blueberry Mojito was so good! We were a bit cold at the beginning and end of our meal (sitting still/not eating etc other than that great atmosphere. Everyone was so nice. We even got some fruit on a plate that had “Happy Anniversary” on it in chocolate. Definitely helped make this one of the best anniversaries we have had. Food was delicious but I personally would have preferred more cheese in my lobster fettuccine. Overall amazing experience everyone should go here!"

"Let's talk about Nelly's, a hidden gem in Long Branch that is bursting with flavor. The menu offers a variety of delicious greasy dishes. We ordered a stuffed Chicago pizza, mozzarella fries, and a white slice. The fries and white slice were fantastic, while the Chicago pie, though not what we expected, was still delicious. It had a unique Chicago-style twist that reminded me of a reverse margherita pizza. The sauce was sweet and the cheese tasted fresh. Overall, Nelly's was a fantastic dining experience, although I do wish they offered Chicago deep dish pizza on their menu."

"Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! We enjoyed zucchini and eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza as appetizers, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had Tavern BBQ Ribs and a 30oz Tomahawk Rib Eye steak, which we shared. The sides of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns were tasty, although the hash browns were a bit crunchy. Our desserts, carrot cake and homemade apple crisp, were also fantastic. The wait staff even sang happy birthday to my wife when they brought out her dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you to everyone at Hendricks Tavern for making my wife's birthday dinner special and memorable."

"This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic old-world feel that transports you to a different era. Despite the snowy day, the lunch crowd was light, but the food was exceptional. The fresh, delicious bread and light, fragrant homemade minestrone were a hit. The shrimp dish was excellent as well. To top it off, our waiter surprised us with a delicious dessert adorned with a chocolate message for my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant."

"we have often eaten in Addie’s in park potomac since it was opened; we also ate at the original Addie’s and other black restaurant group locations, especially black market bistro, and were always satisfied. our visit on Saturday, 02/29, but was a terrible experience. we arrived shortly before our 11:45 reservation, placed our orders no later than 12:10, and, with the exception of a suppe, that a member of the party ordered that arrived quickly, our meals will not receive until almost 1:00. I know the time since I checked my watch to see how close we were to cross the 2-hour free parking window. Consequently, we had to eat quickly to ensure that we get to our cars in time. at one point the waiter told us that the delay was due to a party of 30 in the next room; but I don't think this was the original, as the diners in tables were served near our after us, and some were finished and abandoned before we were ever served. we also received no apology for the delay. another waiter asked a member of the party whether she wanted to refill for her icy. when he brought it, he asked if we needed something else – my wife asked for a refill for her icy and his answer was that she had asked before to save him a trip — no excuse for this attitude. while we continue to feed to black market bistro and other black group sites, it is very unlikely that we will return to addy."

"Food was delicious. Love the choices for food and drinks and it all tastes amazing. I’ve been there before, in general love the ambience but it was very loud. Could’ve been where we were seated near a larger group of loud people, could’ve been the acoustics that we have not realized before. I was a little disappointed in the delay in service when we initially got there. Several people walked by us helping other tables and we were not even greeted with as much as water. Another waitress kindly realized that when we noticed she was serving a table with bread and water and that table had shown up a good five minutes after we had. Just saying hello and bringing waters and bread even if you can’t do anything else is a nice gesture. But to have our own waitress walk by us to address other tables without even saying hello until she did that it was a little disappointing. Otherwise everything was great and we would certainly come back."

"Although the food and our server were excellent my overall first impression of Mimmo’s is just okay. My mother in law wanted to come here for Mother’s Day so I went ahead and made a reservation. They didn’t advertise a limited menu for Mother’s Day so we were upset they didn’t have anything we actually wanted to order. We wanted the crab and artichoke dip to start and it wasn’t on the menu. We wanted the Chicken Toscana, my teenage nephew and niece had a hard time picking out meals because we also came to order pizzas which were not offered! My mother in law ordered the stuffed shrimp scampi and she said it came out cold after it took a long time for our food to come out. By the time her food was remade our table was done eating and she was the one we were celebrating!! Our reservation was at 2:30p and when we arrived no one was in the foyer to greet us. From there the server was great but the food service was slow. I understand it was Mother’s Day and expected to be busy but we waited so long for a limited pasta menu just to have one of our meals come out cold. At 2:30p it seemed like a Friday night would be more chaotic as it didnt seem too chaotic in the afternoon, just filled with people all waiting for food. It seemed as though they were ill prepared for Mother’s Day. I’m disappointed there wasn’t a manager that came around to greet tables. I’m also upset they didnt comp my MILs meal since she did t get to enjoy. I thought the food was good once it finally came out but I would just rather go to like a chain restaurant such as Texas Roadhouse or even Buca di Beppo they know how to pump out the food quick, provide service on busy holidays and it’s always consistent and good. I’m sorry mom and pop restaurant, we tried you for Mother’s Day and it just wasn’t a great 1st impression for me. I’d love to come back for a lunch on the patio with less pressure to please my mother in law! The drink I had was delicious and I’m still curious to try the pizza!"

"Our group ordered the Halibut Cocktail, Burrata, and Truffle Fries to share, and I chose the Pork Chop as my main dish. Everything was delicious and fresh. The Pork Chop was a thick cut, and even though I don't usually eat much pork, this dish was incredibly juicy. We also shared the Apricot Crumble and a scoop of seasonal ice cream for dessert, both of which were delightful. Our waitress was attentive and courteous. Overall, this is a well-established local restaurant with several other locations in the Bay Area. I would definitely consider returning to explore more of their menu."

"Went to Waterzooi in Garden City last night for date night with hubby, food was great it never disappoints. Lucifer Mussels are always on point, with just enough kick. The steak frites was perfectly cooked. Our Pinot noir was a nice addition to our delicious dinner. Service was good and always with a smile. To end our dinner we had a simple but yet tasty pistachio gelato. Sometimes simple is more as our lovely waitress put it. Thank you Waterzooi for being consistent. See you soon."

"As we happened upon going through Westport we thought we would stop by because it looked like a good location. We wanted seafood and this restaurant really satisfied our desire. They had wonderful steamers hot lobster role and a really good fish and chips with haddock Great drinks good salad nice beers on tap and a wonderful key lime pie. Service was very professional and enjoyable Will definitely repeat"

"cuvee ray is a must for wine and food lovers. chef joey churchman is a star. we followed him from his own restaurant, bramble brine to buttery in lewes and now cuvee ray. every dish is beautifully presented. the deckle is a ruffle. we also had the charred nuts sprouts, warm kale salat and teliolini pasta with sparing and mushrooms. I appreciate options as a vegan. the back room has its own dining room for large groups. Live music on Friday and Saturday evening in the room/bar. the service is also top notch, so don't hesitate!"

"I arrived at 7 PM on a weekday with a group of 12 for an event, and I must say, the service was commendable. The food matched the pictures perfectly, and everyone enjoyed their selections. Parking was convenient, and the ambiance was decent, though it could use an update—it definitely doesn’t deserve a five-star rating just yet. It would be great if there were a second floor for more dining space and restroom facilities. Additionally, the outside could benefit from better signage. Overall, I would definitely consider returning."

"Second time for dinner there with my wife and daughter. The place is always well kept, well lit, and well decorated. Noise level was okay and the live musician wasn't too loud from where we were sat. The food is always excellent. Last time I was there, I got a burrata ravioli dish that was delicious. This time I got skirt steak as my entree and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also ordered a corn poblano chowder that was great. I don't remember my wife's orders, but she really enjoyed them. We were a bit disappointed in our waiter this time out. He wasn't particularly friendly or warm. Perhaps it was a long day and he may have been new, but he definitely could've been a bit more engaged. We were not given a list of specials (perhaps there weren't any) and we had to ask to see the dessert tray. We ordered a cheese board and were not told what each cheese was. For $30, they could tell you. I'm not sure if that's a waiter issue or just how they do it as Rum Runner. My wife is slightly allergic to blue cheese and it would've been great if I could've known which one it was. We also ordered the $6 bread app. I'm okay with paying for bread which really amounts to 5 rolls or so because they normally come with cinnamon butter, a fig jam, and oil. However when our order arrived, there was only oil and butter that was in those little rectangular packets. I asked about the butter and fig jam and was told they were out of both. 2 things. 1. Whipped cinnamon butter can't take more than 2 minutes to make. You mix cinnamon and butter and whip it. Whatever. Maybe it's not made in house for some reason. 2. It would've been nice to have been told about this beforehand. I might have ordered something else. He could've also told us when he brought the order over. I shouldn't have had to ask. A $6 comp would've gone a long way there. Otherwise, we had a very good meal. We'll be back again but if this would've been my first time here, I might go elsewhere next time."

"The food was amazing. We had the escargot, the tuna tartare, the blue point oysters and to finish it all we had a lobster roll with truffle french fries with this mayonnaise that was absolutely delicious. Every dish was superb and dipping the bread in the escargot sauce was just amazing because it's butter, olive oil and garlic so dipping the bread in that was just amazing."

"The Bryant is a beautiful restaurant. It is VERY loud not only with the quantity of people but the loud music blasting which I can understand if the music gets louder as the night goes on. If you want to go for dinner with friends and enjoy conversation without speaking very loudly then this is not the place. The food is very good but on the pricier side. $17 for a **** Mary we think is quite excessive especially if it’s made with a lesser expensive vodka. Staff is incredibly friendly and they honor their reservations."
