"I recently got reacquainted with Lenox Grill and it still one of those secret hideaways that I enjoy. This was originally a go to place for me to get wings years ago. While I still enjoy their wings, I have grown to enjoy the company of the regulars and other food items on the menu. Their catfish sandwich (when you can find it) is a nice size with a great flavor. Their soup is always delicious and melts you from the chilly Buffalo winters. Their impressively, extensive beer and cider menu is enough to keep you coming back to try something new. There's also a full bar with multiple options if beer isn't your thing. This place is great for groups but perfect if you are alone as well. There is a nice size bar, and the bartenders are very personable. There's a back room for a large group and a few high tables in the front for smaller ones. On Mondays and Wednesdays they have DJ trivia. They have weekly specials you can find online. They are even open on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas for those who may not have family plans and want to enjoy a delicious meal. Check them out when you get a chance."

"My husband and I were visiting NYC from KC, MO. It was our first trip to The Big Apple so we were really flying by the seats of our pants. We had researched the sites and touristy things to do but we neglected to think about where we would eat or go to have a drink. So, stumbling onto this place was complete and total luck and let me tell you it was good luck! We had a pretzel that was great and of course the drinks were amazing but what blew us out of the water was our server. Jay treated us and everyone else around us who we could see like they were regulars. His keen attention to detail was unparalleled by his smile, his charm and witty banter. I don't know when we will get back to NYC but I guarantee we will...and we will visit our new friend, Jay, at Fool's Gold again!"

"We have been customers at Desmonds for about 15 years. When it changed ownership we heard that updates and repairs were planned instead our favorite neighborhood bar has just gone slowly downhill. We kept coming here despite the dirty washrooms, and ill repair of the building, many items we loved were removed from the menu etc etc However their recent action of letting go of their best staff who really know their customers is the last straw!! "The food was good, but that is about it. Pretty terrible service on New Year's Eve.The waitress was more interested in the many conversations she was having at the bar with other employees and often with the few other customers that were there while we were.On top of that and this one, I can even believe. I wanted to use the men's room before we left but there was no toilet paper in there. I went back to the bar, asked the man that looked like he was running the place, to please put more toilet paper in there and he looked utterly confused about what to do. He also said shockingly I do not know where the toilet paper is and I can't help you He then made it into something funny he needed to share with other patrons at the bar. This was disgusting and terribly unacceptable. We will not be back."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight after being invited by a friend to trivia night. We had a great time, the trivia was challenging and the host, Kevin, was funny. I'm not a beer drinker, but I decided to try one of their ciders. It wasn't as sweet as others I have tried before, which I actually enjoyed. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. Although I didn't order food this time, I noticed they have cauliflower wings on the menu, so I might give them a try next time."

"I want to give this place 4.5 stars but lately a lot of inconsistencies and memorable mistakes. We keep giving trying though and usually what we recieve keeps us coming back to give this place more chances. We used to order here often. Weekly. But had to take a break when our food was incorrectly made multiple times. Delicious, HUGE calzones (when baked correctly and not doughy) and pasta (although they usually mess up the protein). Pizza is pretty good as well and I'm a fan of their ranch but I was beyond disappointed in the dessert, specifically the pistachio cake. Ordered dessert for the first time recently and was given the tiniest slice (about an inch thick at the widest point). For 6 dollars it is beyond a ripoff. Maybe someone got hungry and ate the other half? Probably will never order dessert here again. Usually plenty of parking. They are busy around dinner time and I know lately they have been short staffed so keep that in mind."

"We had an extended Birthday Dinner for my wife. I 'm glad we picked Park Lane Tavern . We had a party of 7 down on the books. We had a 45 min wait due to Their 10 Top table had a 5 top Occupancy. So some of us went to the bar to wait it out. The bartenders Brian and Joey 's drinks were delicious and they had Great Personality too giving advice on what they like to eat. Moving on to the food, our 45 min wait turned well over an hour due to that 5 top I mentioned earlier. They were uncourteous, unmindful and disrespectful with restaurant etiquette. They finished dinner, drinks, dessert PAID their cheque and sat and chatted for an additional 30 minutes. Which is a No No in a restaurant waiting to turn tables. I know a bit about FOH and BOH Managing. Especially on a Sunday Dinner Rush! We summoned the Hostess about the less than cooperative 5 top. She told us she couldn 't do anything but in the Food/Beverage Industry you certainly could do something. In my FOH MANAGEMENT years, after their server asked is there anything else I can get for the Table? The party has cashed out, I would have clocked them to 7-10 minutes 15 at the most. Then I would have politely gone over to the party and asked, Hello folks, How was everything? Everything was Wonderful? Great to hear that your server took great care of you. If you would like to hang out with us, could I direct you over to the bar, because this is my largest table, I do have a 7 Top that has been patiently waiting well over the 45min quote they were given. Okay you elect to leave? Alright well come back to the Tavern Anytime we enjoy having you here. This is just 1 scenario that could have played out. Thanks . Even though we are planning to come back to Park Lane Tavern the Food was Amazing The Corned Beef was just delicious, the burgers were very flavorful and the drinks were Tasty! I am telling you guys Go to Park Lane Tavern you will not be disappointed! Big Food Big Flavor! Our waitress was Amazing very engaged and helpful even with helping some with what to order. Can 't wait to go Back. Park Lane Tavern is a well oiled machine!"

"Saturday is full after lunch. The decor was very stylish retro, clean with good lighting. The layout with the bar that divides the dining area was expected, but nice. Agonist Full House. Waiting staff was fantastic. The Clam Chowder article sits on the bottom of the menu. Don't be stupid. It's one of the best I had in Boston. I love this court and order at every outing. This is so creamy full of pieces, mmm, so savory. My only regret was that I only ordered a cup instead of a bowl. I ended and watched while a friend enjoyed a bowl over me. Dang it. The nachos with chiliries were also really good. This appetizer came with sour cream and tomatoes dip on the side, but the chili poured over the nachos were excellent on him. The Jalapeños pieces are so careful. Drinks and food prices were less than other bars and restaurants in the area. Look at it."

"A very pleasing find in New Windsor we drive out into the scenic countryside just to enjoy lunch at this homey family friendly restaurant (they do serve wine beer and have a bar area). Can 't go wrong never an inferior dish. The salads are fresh, sammies and entrees tasty. Love the wings, crab dip, gator bites, quesadilla, and incredible boom boom shrimp in spicy sauce wow! "Hesitant to write this review for popularity reasons...ONLY because I know it is a true gem in Boston! I went for the first of many times last night after the Chappelle show, and was SO happy to know that the kitchen was still open. We ordered buffalo wings, which are always perfectly made (seriously, some of the best wings I've ever had). Flavor, crispness- no need to be in a buzz to know how good it is. The service has ALWAYS been amazing, welcoming and comforting. Whether for a take out lunch or a night out, Porter's is home in a busy Boston area. I can't wait to return!"

"We were so excited to go to St. Patrick's day. And the food was good. But we were treated so badly that I could never go in there again. I was in tears how the waitress treated us. It was busy, but she was so terrible, went in the middle when we asked for drinks, asked us 30 seconds after we set you ready to order food? She blew the silverware on the table. We were there to have a nice family dinner and it was completely ruined. I hate to evaluate a whole restaurant based on a server, but when the guy came in the dress shirt, he treated us as if we were the problem and that made it even worse. I tried a quiet demon and a smile on my FCe for our 11-year-old. We were so sad and so unpleasant. I typed all the other servers/runners who were friendly and helped us, but we were really hurt as waiters treated us. I have the greatest respect for people in the service sector, but some people are simply not cut out for this kind of work. And I fear that if they continue to serve people in this institution, we will not be the only ones to leave such a review."

"Last weekend I heard over Facebook that the Allen Street Pub was having a Spring Cask Tap. They were bringing in a total of eight cask conditioned ales for the drinking pleasure of the community. I've been meaning to make it in here for a long long time. It always looked from the outside like a place I would really enjoy. That is, a quiet, unassuming, neighborhood pub. And that was even before I heard it was the new home to the old Mahar's computer. Anyhow, this was the perfect excuse. Rolling in at around four o'clock on a Saturday afternoon, the bar wasn't particularly full. But it was clear from my time there that ASP really serves two distinct market segments. There are the old timers who are there for round after round of icy cold bottles of Budweiser and Bud Light, maybe the occasional un-ironic pint of PBR. Then there are the beer geeks who are there to nurse ten-ounce glasses of their precious brews, taking notes and discussing them at length with anyone who will listen. Courtney was tending bar, and she was perfect. Tough enough to deal with anyone getting out of line, and pleasant enough to carry on a conversation with strangers who walk into the bar. There's a jukebox that was getting a lot of play while I was there. The Beatles got a lot of play, but there was some Stones. And a few of the old timers who had been there most of the day weren't shy about singing along to their favorite parts of the songs (even if they may not have been sure about the words). There are also two flat screen televisions hanging over the bar. They seemed a bit out of place. Especially in juxtaposition to the two antique easy chairs that sat in the window at the front of the bar. I may have to come back just to sit in those chairs and enjoy some great beer in the late afternoon light. By the way, the place is cash only, which like everything else about this place is kinda perfect. I could see this becoming my favorite bar in Albany. It's not there yet. But that's just because I haven't spent nearly enough time there. An error I hope to correct in the future."
