"The restaurant had a hired photographer invading the privacy of the diners. We expressed to the manager that we were uncomfortable being photographed or our photo 's being used in their marketing materials. We were told they were blurring faces; however, we stated we were still uncomfortable and do not wish to participate. The photographer then went outside and continued taking photo 's directly at us. We spoke to the photographer directly who again stated that they would blurr faces. We were quite uncomfortable and not enjoying a peaceful meal and asked that he stop until we leave. The photographer said he was just doing his job and then brought the camera directly in front of our table and we could hear the Manager telling him that we weren 't going to like it; however, the photographer attempted to act as if he were taking photo 's the other direction and turned his camera directly on us. We again told them we were uncomfortable and to please stop. The Manager did nothing other than walk away. We immediately paid our check and left. The disrespect of how this was handled and to continue to make us uncomfortable during our meal was very disappointing."

"The service was impeccable. The food was extrodenary. The woman and I were very pleasantly surprised. We are not familiar with wine, but our waitress and the other staff there was very knowledgeable and could not have felt more comfortable with us not familiar with different flavors. The woman had the steak and I had the duck. Both were excellent. Little portions, yes, but we haven't been hungry. So just the right amount. I recommend and will recommend this place to everyone to try at least once and let the service, wine and food speak for themselves. They won't be disappointed."

"I made a reservation using OpenTable. A friendly host escorted us to our table upstairs. We were given the option of sparkling water and decided on 2 bottles. The cheese and fruit platter included a selection of Italian cheeses and a small amount of apple slices. The special of the night was a delicious short rib beef stew. We also enjoyed lemon drop martinis, which were very easy to drink. I highly recommend this restaurant in Little Italy. The dress code is business casual and they welcome families with kids."

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Expensive and lousy in every way"

"Two of the three entrees were spectacular. The salad was the best I think I ever had. The desserts were great too and the wine was marvelous So why stars Our server was a bit off. The wine took a long time to come, which I was OK with, however when it finally arrived he literally (no exaggeration) held it in his hand while flirting with a blond female server for a good additional minutes. What does that tell the customer about where the priorities lie The other issue was mu meal I got the more expensive ounce Kow Cattle Wagu filet Oddly it was noticeably smaller than the other two filet mignons and more importantly the cut really was not as good. It part of it in the middle had sinew and grizzle (in a filet mignon?? It's too bad because had the server been better and had my order been better, this would have been a totally star meal"

"The GOOD… The Frida Kahloesque restaurant decor was what we expected… colorful, charming, and comfortable. The metal handbag hook under the table was a nice convenient touch. The NOT SO GOOD… The Value of the service and food didn’t seem to represent that of a Michelin 2024 hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful enough, but not very present…appeared like they needed to be elsewhere… maybe serving hotel guests with room service? We were the only two guests in the dining room. Maria’s Chilequiles was very mild in flavor… simply fried eggs over tortilla chips… no notable flavors to mention $22). The dessert Azúcar Delight was a slightly elevated tasting vanilla bean pudding and 3 tiny churros, but the value for the small cup $12)… not so sure. WORTH A 2ND TRY? Maybe the rooftop bar for drinks during cooler temps, but sadly we will not be returning for Brunch."

"My partner and I went for lunch on the last Saturday of Restaurant Week. We were one of only a few people there at 2 pm, but it took a while for our appetizers to come. Low on presentation, but they were decent. However, our entrees came out shortly afterwards, so the pacing was awkward. My entree didn’t have one of the listed items on it, but they brought it out separately for me. No cookies for dessert, but they gave us cheesecake instead. Took a while to get our coffee orders straight (bringing milk, spoons, sugar), but the coffee as good. I’d say this place needs more attentive, competent servers and a better staffed kitchen. They have yet to find their feet."

"We brought our very small wedding party here after our ceremony for a small reception-like affair. The hostess was very kind, polite, and accommodating to us. The sommelier selected a delightful sparkling wine for our toast, and the food was superb,prepared with such care that the sumptuousness of each dish naturally came through. We had the pork belly, filet, and the bisontomahawk special, all of which were cooked to perfection. The waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. Just a reallygreat experience overall, and I?m so grateful that our wedding day was punctuated with such care. Truly delightful."
