"The GOOD… The Frida Kahloesque restaurant decor was what we expected… colorful, charming, and comfortable. The metal handbag hook under the table was a nice convenient touch. The NOT SO GOOD… The Value of the service and food didn’t seem to represent that of a Michelin 2024 hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful enough, but not very present…appeared like they needed to be elsewhere… maybe serving hotel guests with room service? We were the only two guests in the dining room. Maria’s Chilequiles was very mild in flavor… simply fried eggs over tortilla chips… no notable flavors to mention $22). The dessert Azúcar Delight was a slightly elevated tasting vanilla bean pudding and 3 tiny churros, but the value for the small cup $12)… not so sure. WORTH A 2ND TRY? Maybe the rooftop bar for drinks during cooler temps, but sadly we will not be returning for Brunch."

The restaurant offers amazing food, ambiance, and service. It may be a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for a special dining experience.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic overall. The scallops in particular were amazing, although you only get three of them. Sides come at an additional cost. The rooftop dining area is also a highlight, I really enjoyed it.

My wife and I have celebrated our last three anniversaries at Azucar. We have had a fantastic experience each time we dine there. The atmosphere is lovely, the views are picturesque, and the staff have always made us feel warmly welcomed.

Used to be much better food…we were disappointed… The service was excellent, though. Jose was amazing and he made our evening enjoyable, in spite of the poor quality of the food. At this time, we cannot recommend this restaurant any longer View menu

Great drinks and cute place but our server (wish we got his name, he has short blonde hair and a mustache! was phenomenal! He was attentive, funny, and gave great recommendations. He also gave us great safety tips which we appreciated as a group of women. We’d all 100% come back just because of him!

We've been wanting to try Azucar for some time now. I looked at the menu on Open Table and based our reservation on that but when we got to the restaurant the menu was vastly different. The filet that we ordered was well done instead of medium rare but besides that the food was good. They comped 1 drink as our compensation.

One of the worst, most expensive meals I have had. We had to ask for set-ups, and we had to ask salt and pepper. Three of us had the same dish; mixed vegetables with some sort of protein. The vegetables included peas still in the pods and baby artichokes with the tough outer leaves still on. I could not chew the pea pods or the outer artichoke leaves. The food was served on black dishes and was swimming in oil. Not a good presentation. The bill for 6 of us was $350. I will not go back. View menu

Went for dinner recently and we were told by a waiter that the management and chef changed. Sadly, this place has gone downhill. Most of the menu has changed- they’re charging 45 for 3 scallops with no sides at all… literally 45 for 3 scallops as an entree?!? That’s robbery right there. The other entrees have also changed, for example the surf and turf used to come with sides, now it’s just the shrimp, steak and no sides for more . They’re giving you less food but have increased their prices! This used to be my favorite restaurant, we’ve been going for years and now this place is trash. Go to Farm or Birba, you’ll have a better experience and actually get your moneys worth.

Worst $600 we have ever spent on food. We have visited this restaurant a few times for dinner and it has been a good experience. Yesterday we went for brunch and the food was horrible and overpriced. The rice and chilaquiles was a disappointment. Red rice was plain, no flavor and stickey, it taste like box instant rice. No spicy sauce if you ask foro me they will give you tapatio or can spicy sauce in a cup. Caesar salad dressing was nasty. The dressing taste like water down ranch instead of Caesar and no croutons. Overpriced for the portion and for the taste. Overall the brunch was very disappointing. I wish would have gone to eat to Dennys and it would have been a better experience. Not go...
