"I stopped by Underhills on a Saturday afternoon. Since I was alone, I sat at the bar. After a cocktail, and my favorite Lobster Bisque, Adam leaned over and suggested the one of the specials...the Cavatelli Pasta; a dish with a brilliant, light silantro based tomato sauce, homemade lamb sausage, topped with mozzarella. Wow! I learned how a marriage of tastes can make eating a meal fun and educational experience. What was so educational about it? For those of us who have eaten lamb, we know that lamb can have...well...a lamb taste. Sure, there are ways to mute the taste, but what if you embraced it? That 's what this dish did. The character of the lamb was intact but blended with the tastes of tomato sauce, silantro, and mozzarella. Each bite was an novel experience. Put very plainly, it was great! If you 're in Bronxville, or you don 't mind a journey, Underhills is a wonderful place to stop in for a great meal and a wonderful experience."
