"Dear McDonald’s Customer Service, I am leaving this review to formally express my disappointment with the customer service I received at the McDonald’s location in Gardiner, Maine. On 2/2/2025 at approximately 11:15-11:27pm I went through the drive-thru to place an app order. The female employee taking my order had difficulty understanding my code, and after repeating myself four times, I explained that I have braces, which might be affecting my speech. I also mentioned that if she still couldn’t understand me, I would come to the window to clarify. Instead of responding professionally, she accused me of being “nasty” and told me to “get off her line, despite my calm attempts to explain. At that point, I decided not to proceed with my order and instead requested her name to leave a review. She ignored me. I then went inside to speak with a manager, but I was informed no manager was on duty. To my frustration, I saw my order appear on the register, proving she had actually understood me the entire time this experience left me feeling disrespected and upset.
