"My brother treated me to a Thanksgiving dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We both chose the Turkey Wellington, which was delicious! For dessert, I had the pumpkin cheesecake while he opted for the flan, and both desserts were fabulous. We finished our meal with a spicy Spanish potato dish topped with cheese, which was incredibly good! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Qualified yes. My family picked coming to Romano's as one of two restaurants in Tucson to eat at as part of our vacation. Our last time was years prior, Much has changed. Some worse. Food was delicious except the bread this was dry, brittle, and not the delicious bread we remember. Food otw was very good. Noise level and type of music was too loud despite that we came at the end of lunch time, around Ambiance was otw good. Service was excellent. Would really like a BIG improvement in the bread. "We were sat by the hostess and waited minutes before we let them know we hadn't been greeted yet. She said they were very understaffed. The togo girl who was very sweet came over and offered to wait on us. We ordered drinks from the bar, but didn't receive them for another minutes. We ordered dinner right away, but didnt receive it for another hour. I ordered the create your own pasta, they forgot my addons and brought it all on the side when I said something. My husband got the chicken parmesan, and my daughter just received butter noodles, it was absolutely inedible. We were so disappointed in everything, and I was so sad because I used to love this place. I understand that places are severely understaffed, but maybe you need to pay your people more money, cause now you lose it on the back end. Such a shame."

"Called ahead to reserve table whole traveling (7:30 PM on a Sat. night) and told there was a 30 45 min wait. Okaaayyyy. Arrived 15 min later and were greeted by 2 2 hostesses who were completely clueless. We were immediately seated in dining room that had DOZENS of empty tables, at least a dozen of which were empty but had not been bussed. After 15 minutes at table, our server (Bailey) finally came around and apologized for delay, explaining that several people had called in and they were understaffed. We get it, stuff happens. As we waited for drinks to arrive, we watched diners become more and more frustrated, waiting for boxes and checks to arrive. I ordered a dirty martini and bartender served it himself great drink. Food was mediocre at best. Entrees were lukewarm and quality less than average. Server and bartender worked hard under difficult conditions. Our negative experience was entirely due to lax management. Will not return, ever."

"Our server, Johnny, provided exceptional service. Despite a slow kitchen that night, he was attentive and managed our expectations effectively. Johnny was able to prioritize certain aspects of our meal to ensure a smooth dining experience, allowing us to enjoy our appetizers, soups, and salads before our main courses. This was the best service I have received in a long time and Johnny's skills should be shared with others in the industry. He has a promising future in hospitality."

"My wife and I happened across this restaurant while searching the internet for seafood during our stay in Miami. I read the reviews and figured why not, let's give it a shot. I was greeted by the hostess which I later found out was the wife of the owner and who was also the proud creator of the southern style sweet tea. My glass never got close to the bottom before another on took its place. Darn good tea!!! Having grown up in Ocean City Maryland as a kid and a young adult, I have a fondness towards crab cakes. I saw them on the menu and then informed my waitress that it was going to be a tough sell to match real Maryland crab cakes. I have to say that I was very surprised at how good they were. I am also a fan of conch fritters and once again. Absolutely wonderful. I talked to the owner for about a half an hour after my wife and I finished our dinner and complimented him and his staff for a very good dinner that was inexpensive to boot. I have to return to Miami in two months and you can bet the house that you will find me here again. The Rockfish Grill passed this ole Maryland boys test. Great Food, Great Service, Great Eats!!! A"

"The restaurant was short-staffed, which made for a chaotic experience. Our waiter was also handling the seating for new guests, leading to multiple lengthy interruptions while we tried to place our order for four. Unfortunately, the food was not well-prepared; the curry goat we ordered was mostly bones. As a gesture for the issues we encountered, the waiter offered us a 10% discount on our bill, but it felt like little consolation. I won’t be returning."

"My husband and I stopped in for dinner. The wait was about fifteen minutes. Ordered from the “Create your own pasta” menu: rigatoni with meat sauce and a side of sausage. At first I didn’t think it was meat sauce as it seemed a little scarce. Sausage consisted of a few thin sliced pieces mixed in. My husband had rigatoni with pomodorino sauce, along with mushrooms and spinach. The portions were okay and the taste was good. Complimentary bread with herbed olive oil was brought to the table. I ordered a cranberry and seltzer and was charged for a mixed drink. As a courtesy, they took it off the tab. Our server seemed to be having a little bit of an off day, but was nice. The experience was nothing stellar, just okay."

"Out wandering Vancouver and seeking those quiet little unknown places that can often be a hidden diamond. Often, but not always. First clue was no menu posted outside, as most restaurants in Vancouver do. Entered and had to wait a few minutes for anyone to appear. Two men sitting at the bar, but no staff in sight.Finally a host arrived and delivered me to an empty table in an empty dining room. It was a little after 6pm, not "that" early and every other restaurant in the area had been overwhelmingly busy with the FC game about to begin. Host put me at a 4-person table, and left me with an iPad and no instructions. Yes, yes, I can figure out an iPad, but still, ... no instructions at all?Discovered that the iPad was only the cocktail menu, and that the actual menu was underneath. A small assortment of fine Italian dining, but nothing to really suit my tastes. I may be a bit pedestrian for a place like this, but no lasagna, no spaghetti and not much to interest me on the entire menu. Meanwhile the extra hardware was removed from the table by an irritated waitress who seemed to be rather upset about something. Very unfriendly and very dis-interested. Eventually was served by a waiter, and he was okay. I ordered a dish that I thought might be okay, it wasn't. Costs were high and service was generally underwhelming. I would not go back."

"Made reservations at 8:30 for 4 on Valentine’s Day. Got to restaurant at 8:15. Checked in with hostess who said reservations for that night were invalid because they had taken over 400 reservations for that night so no reservations were being granted we would need to be put on waiting list for 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Luckily, or so we thought, a bar waitress got us a table in bar area. She sat us, then continued to ignore us. It was a busy night granted but she didn’t have to seat us only to ask for our drink order 20 minutes later, then take another 20 minutes just to bring our waters. My husband finally got the bartender to make our drinks on a separate order he delivered them to our table. 20 minutes after that our food order was taken. Our soups were cold my soup bowl had residual food left on the inside of bowl. So nasty. 20 minutes after that waitress said she would check on our food. Didn’t see her again for another 30 minutes. Once we finally received our food, it was also very cold because it had been sitting waiting on her to pick it up bring to us. During the meal, she mentioned that another table ‘up left without paying’. I assume she told us that to overlook her horrible service or to feel sorry for her. As a former waitress, I can say this was by far the worse service food I have ever received. We didn’t leave the restaurant until close to 11:00 pm after being seated at 8:20. I understand it was Valentine’s Day but no restaurant should take reservations if they aren’t going to honor them have their worst waitresses working on one of their busiest nights. The whole thing was very unfortunate. I won’t go back."

"Frustrated, I got up from my seat and went to the bar only to find out that our waiter hadn't even placed the drink order. An hour went by without a single appetizer being served. We asked to speak with the manager (I’m not sure of her name, but she was the only one with red hair). Unfortunately, she never came to our table after 10 minutes, which I found very unprofessional. She seemed more focused on the front area of the restaurant rather than attending to the diners who were already there. Eventually, my partner and I decided to leave. To sum up our visit, we ended up with just a glass of water and two pieces of bread during the entire hour we sat at our table. It was a dreadful experience, and I noticed that two other couples encountered similar issues and also left. On the bright side, the busboys worked hard to clear tables, and there was a young man named Khalid who was bustling around, clearly giving it his all. I just wish the manager would put in half the effort that her employees do."

"I booked a reservation through Open Table at 745 and did not get seated until.830pm. I understand it was Valentine's Day so I am willing to forgive them for that. What was the most disappointing was that we had to wait for over 90 minutes for our food. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. The service and food is good but the kitchen is horrible. They seem very disorganized and dont care about the wait time. I really want to be a continued customer but I have complained three times and nothing has changed. I would love to come back but after this experience unfortunately I will not be back."

"This place needs a serious corporate management intervention. We arrived to a vacant hostess stand, and nearly a vacant restaurant (no surprise) after all surrounding restaurants had long lines to get in. After a couple minutes she took us to our table. Nearly 10 minutes later, we hadn’t seen a server so I flagged down the hostess who then approached one of the servers across the room. After a short discussion, they parted ways and no one came to our table. I told my wife that I couldn’t live with myself if we sat through this and spent money here, so we got up and left. Ridiculously poor service and the restaurant itself was filthy, including the restrooms. Sit back, Birmingham, and watch this one either close down or change hands soon. Awful."

"This was one of the worst dining experiences that we ever had. We were celebrating a college graduation so we had a reservation for 11 people for 6:00. We were seated on time and the table was set but it was all downhill from there. It actually took 42 minutes to get water at the table. That was how the dinner started. The bread was like a jumbo crouton and the service was terrible. Two of the people were served their meals fifteen minutes after the rest of the table. They did not have enough servers since everything took way longer than it should have. We will not eat at this location again. What a disappointment! Fortunately we had dessert at our home and ended the evening on a positive note."

"I got in super late and Amelia's Trattoria was open and close to my AirBnb. The staff there were amazing. They were patient and helpful and got me a glass of water while I ordered something to-go: the Beat (yes, how they spell it) salad and a tiramisu. These are, quite honestly, two of my favorite dishes to order at most places so I have a lot of comparisons. The one star reduction is just because the beet salad was, fine. The apples in the salad were fantastic and added much needed acidity, but it needed a little more. The tiramisu, however, was pristine. I would come back just for the tiramisu. It was light, slightly sweet mascarpone, perfectly chocolate on top, and soaked in deliciousness "
