"However, when my husband arrived at the restaurant to pay, he was told they weren't taking any orders at the moment! He had to explain that he was there to finalize a pre-existing order. Eventually, someone checked the note left by the manager and confirmed his name was listed, allowing him to make the payment. It’s unclear whether we should have placed our order earlier or if Cracker Barrel was simply unprepared for this situation, or possibly a bit of both.
As for the food, it was quite enjoyable. Our meal included roasted turkey breast, dressing with a side of chicken broth, turkey gravy, sweet potato souffle, rolls, cranberry relish, and our chosen side of macaroni and cheese. I wasn’t particularly fond of the sweet potato souffle, as it tasted more like pumpkin. I added Colby-Monterey Jack cheese on top of the macaroni and cheese to enhance its color, and that was delicious! Despite the confusion during the ordering process, the overall flavor of the food made up for it."
