"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"My boyfriend and I love to try different restaurant all over the world every time we got the chance, we been to the best restaurant here in New York Bouley, my fave, Le Bernardin, daniel, Morimoto etc. and decided to celebrate our 1st New Years dinner locally at 42, made reservation at the early time availability which is 5:30 pm or the 9:30 pm coz that the availability on the open table. So we got seated with the host and the place was pretty empty and didnt have the skyline view, come to find out they change the restaurant set up , the used to be bar now was the restaurant and the old restaurant with the the view now function as the events room. so we stayed and then we decided to do the 6 course meal so we can try more things, you have to pick you apps, pasta, entree and dessert and the waiter said that the 2 other course would be chef 's choice appetizer and dessert. the first course that the waiter said came, the chef 's choice; its a sorbet with 2 kinds of fish roe orange color and black and some dehydrated green vegetable, come to find out its the amuse bosche that they served to all the tables wether you pick the 6 course meal or ala carte, followed with my choice of appetizer which is the crudo of cod which i liked and he got octopus dry then pasta course i got the egg yolk ravioli had he have the potato then entree i had duck and he have the steak which is okay then "d ' ' chef 's choice dessert came and it was another sorbet, quince sorbet with full of cheese after cheese, i mean parmesan slices then on top is grated parmesan then quince sorbet then toasted parmesan on top, to be fair the quince sorbet i did liked it then my choice of dessert it was the New Macau came with little of crumble sponge cake topped with sorbet bigger than the sponge cake and 16 drops of some syrup with violet flowers, as if it is a sorbet dessert, for the $95.00 per person they charged is not worth it! Too bad were not coming back nor recommending it to our foodie friends."

"I came here after all my fellow yelpers posted about the event that ended two days ago. Tucked away in a corner of a shopping plaza on Semoran and south wekiva road this hidden gem is a great dining option for a wide spread menu. We started with the carb lovers unite. The biscuits were warm(ish), similar to Cracker Barrel style, but the cinnamon maple butter was cold hard- breaking apart with every attempt to spread it on 5/10. The corn bread was a 2/10, it was dry and crumbled so much that you couldn't pick it up to bite it, literally you had to eat it with a spoon to prevent it from spilling everywhere. The pineapple spread tasted great. My sister had the chicken fried plate with onion straws and collard greens.... The chicken was good 8/10 as were the onion straws 7/10. The collard greens were a pass for all four of us at the table 0/10. They were microwave warm, tasted canned and lacked seasoning. I had the true love with meatloaf crumbles. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 15/10!!! My daughter had the Boozie Bread with turkey bacon and cheese eggs. The French toast was described as crispy and the eggs were meah. Scored a 6/10. The chicken pot pie wasn't the typical pot pie. It didn't have crust at all, just a biscuit on top of very tasty goulash, 7/10 Based off of our dining experience we skipped the desserts. The sweet tea was a good balance and not too sweet. I was satisfied with our trip as was my party. We would eat here again if we were in the area."

"2007 What more can I say that the 13 other reviews before mine have not? It's just THAT good! You kind of wish there was a national chain of places like this. .... 11 years later .... 2018 Completely disappointed as I was traveling in the area today. Their website says to call for seasonal hours. No answering recording or way to leave message. Their emailbox is full and cannot accept messages. Visited the place anyway after paying for parking. Closed, no hours of operation posted. Peeked in window and they do not look out-of-business. In summary, there was no way to determine when this place was open for business nor any way to contact them. They lost my business as I walked somewhere else close by that was not veg-exclusive. Addendum: As luck would have it, I had to travel to this area again the following week. I found the location open and spoke to one of the owners about my difficulty described above. She was going to look into correcting the problems. The number of offerings here has declined since 2007. She said that they found it difficult to maintain quality and speed of service with so many offerings. Nonetheless, I was pleased with my smoothie, my juice, and my vegan sandwich. They prepare in the open and appear to take great care in doing it. I would recommend attempting to eat here if in the Fells Point/Inner Harbor neighborhood of Baltimore....but double-check to make sure they are open before making the trip and paying to park. I was tempted to purchase the tee shirt that they had for sale that read, We chop and slice the veggies for you so you don't have to hear them scream Should I be in the area again, I will make sure my budget has enough to purchase this.
