"Suite Fire, at the end of the day, was fine. The service was good, but we'd describe everything out as pretty basic. There was little separation from the hotel lobby to the restaurant area--we felt like we were sitting in a glorified continental breakfast area. Some of the tables were the basic folding kind you might find at a convention center. The vast majority of the clientelle were the same you'd see in a Subway--many were in swim trunks from the hotel pool and some were in torn off tank tops and cargo shorts. I say this not to disparage those customers but rather to communicate that while Suite Fire markets itself as a unique upscale casual restaurant, the public views it as your everyday run-of-the-mill hotel bar that happens to serve food. Which is totally ok--just nothing special The food itself was fine but I'm confident we'd prepare the same meals better at home and we're no chefs by any stretch of the imagination. My blackened chicken pasta seemed like something I could get in a boxed mix and my partner described her marinated chicken as rubbery and questionable She mentioned that her baked potato was the best part of her meal and enjoyed it. Our caesar salads were also fairly good, although they seemed like bagged greens with standard dressing with standard croutons Moral of the story: Suite Fire was fine. We didn't have a bad time and our server was good. We were satisfied with our meal but weren't particularly impressed by anything. We'd return if our friends wanted to meet there, but we wouldn't initiate that invitation."

"Genuine feedback: I hope my honesty won't result in being barred from sharing my experience. Upon visiting this establishment, my initial expectations weren't met. With a background rooted in a rich seafood culture, I anticipated a culinary journey that resonated with my upbringing. However, what I encountered fell short. While the fried fish was commendable, boasting a crisp exterior and tender interior, the other offerings left much to be desired. The shrimp, unfortunately, lacked the texture and succulence one expects, being flattened and melded with the batter. This resulted in a uniform consistency reminiscent of a hamburger patty, rather than the distinct bite of fresh shrimp. Moreover, the oysters were overshadowed by an excessive coating of batter, diminishing their delicate flavor and rendering them almost unrecognizable amidst the breadcrumbs. On a brighter note, the hush puppies offered a unique take on the classic, and the green beans and mushrooms were a delightful surprise, showcasing culinary skill and attention to detail. In terms of service, I must commend the staff for their exemplary customer care, particularly during peak hours when wait times were inevitable. However, despite the warm welcome and efficient service, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. In essence, this establishment felt akin to a larger-scale version of Long John Silver's, catering more to family-oriented dining than to those seeking an authentic seafood experience. The discrepancy between the inviting interior and the mismatched exterior was particularly notable, giving off a misleading impression to passersby. While the food quality leaned towards the commercial end of the spectrum, I remain open-minded and willing to revisit in the future, in the hopes of experiencing an improvement in both culinary execution and overall ambiance."
