"Upon our arrival, we noticed another group trying to find their server to pay and leave. After a short wait, we were seated and enjoyed the pleasant riverwalk views. Our order was taken promptly, but the chips and queso appetizer was underwhelming. Despite there being only a few other tables occupied, our meals (a cheeseburger and penne pasta) took a while to arrive. The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. Getting our bill also took longer than expected. As we were leaving, we saw the staff gathered in the bar area watching a football game on TV. Overall, the restaurant offers average food with a nice view of the riverwalk."

Food was pretty mediocre. Although cheeseburger was done perfectly medium rare juicy hot. Nachos meh. Service was decent pleasant, but not overly expedient.

Difficult to access fromb the riverwalk. Entry thru hotel. Bell sraff directed us to the back door of the kitchen. Sadly, this was our Valentine's Day dinner reservation.

Bit expensive. Only one other table and staff seemed confused. Waiter nice. Mostly lunch type menu. Very little to choose from for a nice dinner and desert on the Riverwalk. View menu

I made a reservation for10 people. When we got there there was no reservation. From sitting down at our table to finishing it took 2 hours. We had small kids with us, they brought their food last. And got orders wrong. The food was good, but service was horrible

We booked a table for nine for Father's Day brunch. Great selection of foods. Everyone was pleased with the meal. Alex our waiter was excellent!! He took great care of us. Bringing out to go cups for our coffee before we asked. Nice comfortable place to eat and visit with family.

Made a reservation, on a Sunday night, before a performance, for four. We arrived at a closed restaurant. No notice, no apology from staff when we got there. We had to scramble to find someplace before the show. Sent a note to the restaurant and was told someone would contact me. No one has contacted me yet. Very uncool. View menu

The name sounded better than the view. We indeed had a window view however my date had back to window. Fortunately it was dark so we got to see the lights hang from the trees on the riverwalk. The problem was the ugly construction across the river staring us in the face. Nevertheless the food was good. The service was OK. The ambiance was still, stiff. I would recommend eating elsewhere if you want a better view with more entertainment.

Windows on the River is a delightful restaurant located in the Holiday Inn Riverwalk. The cuisine is delicious and our server, Israel, delivered exceptional service. Although it may not be classified as fine dining, it is a wonderful choice for a pleasant dinner by the riverwalk away from the hustle and bustle of neighboring restaurants. We savored a meal before attending a performance at the Majestic Theater, which was quite convenient. We look forward to returning again in the future.
