"I've tried giving this restaurant multiple chances because the food is delicious, but they continually mess up my order! My husband is lactose intolerant, and every time I order a meatball hero, it comes with cheese! I've told the person on the phone at least ten times that it should be cheese-free, yet it still arrives wrong. Don’t they understand that people with food allergies can get seriously ill if their meals aren’t made correctly? Even though they do prepare a new hero for me each time, it usually contains fewer meatballs than the original order! There seems to be a major communication issue between the staff taking orders and the kitchen. Unfortunately, this will be my last order with them."

"The service here really stood out to me, in the best way possible! I wish I?d gotten their names but two young men checked on us constantly and were super friendly and communicative! It was a Saturday night and we ordered the sweet sautéed garlic whole fried chicken and fried rice cake with cheese. The rice cake was nice and chewy and the cheese made it taste like we were just eating mozzarella goodness. I think this place would be great to take a group of people to eat lots of food, take pics, and have a good time!"

"I went to the restaurant to pick up my usual food, but there was a problem with my order. Someone pointed out my fries to the staff, and the next thing I knew, they were given away to someone else. I figured it was no big deal and that another batch of fries would be coming out soon. When the next order arrived, I was told that it was for another group. I was confused because I had been there before them. It felt like I kept getting overlooked. I eventually asked for a refund for the fries so I could leave, but the staff only gave me back $2. I've ordered fries before, and they cost $5! Not only did they ignore my order, but they also didn’t want to refund me the full amount. It's really disappointing!"

"For a little "hole in the wall" establishment, I'm genuinely impressed by the consistently outstanding quality of the seafood here. "I recently placed an order online for food, but when my boyfriend went to pick it up, the restaurant claimed they had no record of it. We even confirmed with Baja's Tex Mex to ensure it hadn't been sent to the wrong location, but they had no information about my order either. After checking my phone, we confirmed that I had indeed ordered from Baja's Taqueria at 227 Thayer St, which was the right place. My boyfriend went back in and provided the order details, but the staff rudely insisted that they had no record of it. Frustrated and hungry, we had no choice but to reorder, as the staff insisted I needed to contact my bank to resolve the issue. Throughout this entire experience, the attitude of the staff was entirely unacceptable. As regular customers, I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the poor customer service we received."

"I ordered delivery from here and it a normal amount of time to arrive. No complaints there. The burrito was ok, good size, toppings and salsas on the side. And I like how it was pressed on the grill to seal it closed. However the tostones came raw! They were horribly undercooked and I had to bake them in order for them to be edible. And I asked for Jarritos Tamarindo and instead received mandarin, which isn’t the same thing. Not the best overall experience for me which is disappointing."

"Great place to either grab food go, Eat In, or have it Delivered!!!! Has great ownership, friendly customer service/staff, food, they not only sell beer “Adult” Slushies, but they are NOW also selling WINE (they’ll soon be turning some wines into one of the slushies! From behind the register the waitress flippantly pointed towards the tables saying nothing, so we sat. She didn’t want to answer any questions about the menu. She seemed annoyed we were there at all. She was annoyed when we asked for sauce, needed a refill. Just our presence seemed to bother her. I would rather go to a restaurant with ehhh food but great service over this mess any day of the week. Shame too, because it is close to my house. They really missed out on some loyal patronage here.
