"Excellent. From top to bottom. My first visit the owner told me not to order the gyro which was what we had stopped in for… he said, “let me feed you.” He brought out the best falafel I have ever had, a Mediterranean salad, and baba ganoush unparalleled in my experience. I like to take the salad, stuff it in the pita and top it with the baba ganoush. Then he brought out the mixed plate for 2, every meat they make is savory and seasoned perfectly. Great deal for a falafel platter. $12 after tax and ton of food, can’t beat it in NY

Good food and really nice guy inside. Try to get the daily specials they’re a better value. His fries are some of the best I’ve had. View menu

Consistently great! They have daily specials which are always hot, fresh, and flavorful. Service is also great — greeted by friendly folks whom I’ve gotten to know in my frequent visits.

I’m coming from Middle East and I have no idea what kind of falafel is it. I will not recommend to anyone, the pita bread is from a deli and heated in microwave. Every time I go there I pay different price

Unexpectedly the BEST falafel I’ve ever had. This hole in the wall middle eastern restaurant makes tiny bite sized falafels that are crunchy and crispy on the outside and warm and fresh on the inside. I also tried the hummus with pita which was good but the highlight of this restaurant is the falafel. The price for the quality of food is unbeatable for Manhattan. I’ll definitely stop by again next time I’m in the area.

GO HERE. This quaint shop was stumbled upon while we were here visiting Ulysses Grant’s burial place. The prices are amazing for the quantity received. And the quality is superb! The gyro sandwich was filled in a pita pocket. So much succulent, tender meat, lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers, and loaded with creamy and tangy sauces. The falafel sandwich was the same just substituting gyro with soft and fresh falafels. Their French fries are awesome. Fried really well and seasoned beautifully … – show
