"We did have the option to move to the bar and order items a la carte, but unfortunately, it was still from that pre-selected menu. This was a challenge for us due to our allergies and dietary restrictions. I ordered the halibut ($40), but when it arrived, it was disappointingly small, about the size of a tiny chicken nugget. By this point, I was starving, and I knew it wouldn't be enough to satisfy me, so I politely sent it back.
The manager was kind enough to apologize and offered a larger portion as compensation, which I appreciated. While it wasn't the best experience overall, I was grateful for the manager's attentiveness to our concerns. I believe it would be helpful for the restaurant to clearly advertise if they have a pre-selected menu and fixed price. Nevertheless, I might be open to trying this place again on a regular night."
